Apartment Arcadia

Enjoyed our stay. Bedroom stayed very dark, so great to be able sleep in. Easy walking distance to a few different grocery stores. Nice view of the water. We also enjoyed watching football practice in the evenings from the balcony. Note that parking was not easy, at least for those of us who are not as accustomed to city parking. We parked about 10 minutes away in a parking garage. Can get a weekly pass for 50 euros, so not a bad deal. Be prepared to climb. Definitely an uphill walk from the parking garage to the apartment entrance, and then five floors to the room. If you are in reasonable shape, should not be a problem. The location of Rijeka was great for day trips into Slovenia (i.e., Predjama Castle, Postojna Cave), as well as day trips within Croatia (Pula, Rovinj, Opatija, Krk, etc.) Can't beat the price, especially when you consider the comfort, cleanliness, and amenities that come with the apartment. Would definitely stay here again.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und ordentlich und hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf Adria und Hafen. Gegenüber ist ein Bäcker und ein kleiner Supermarkt, in die Innenstadt sind es gute 10 min zu Fuß. Gut zu Fuß sollte man auch sein. Die Wohnung ist über 105 Stufen zu erreichen und liegt auf einer Erhebung Rijekas, was den Fußweg vom und zum Haus sportlich gestaltet :) Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Alles in allem: wirklich empfehlenswert

The apartment was in a great location. Wonderful restaurant across the street. Only complaint were the 5 floors of steps. Not included in the description.
