Charged $3 for parking. Told it was a Marriott requirement. Parking was in an open lot. I thought it was really odd. I will be reaching out to Marriott to figure out if this is really a thing moving forward.

In general my stay was decent, but some details didn’t measure up to what I would have expected from a Marriott property. For instance, the indoor pool was unusable because of a heater issue. The temperature of the water was an icy 70 degrees! NOT a pleasant soak for a tired traveler, so I never got to use the pool. And I had booked this hotel over the many other choices BECAUSE of the pool! When asked if patrons would be compensated for the deficit, I was told a curt “no.” In my room, the beds were not at all neatly made; the blankets and even the bed skirts were askew and lumpy. And the blankets were tucked in so far at the foot of the bed that they did not reach up to cover me properly. I had to readjust them myself. After the first night I asked the front desk when my room would be cleaned while I was away, but was told that housekeeping doesn’t clean every day. I asked if they would at least refresh the towels, empty the trash, and replenish the coffee supplies, and the rep seemed reluctant to commit to that service, but ultimately agreed. However, the beds were not re-made when housekeeping visited, and don’t you think that would have been the right thing to do? I can’t easily make a bed these days as I just had shoulder surgery a few months ago. In regards to breakfast: undercooked eggs, soggy sausages, and the seats in the dining area were terribly and visibly very worn; the fabric of the seats was threadbare. What a shame; I expected more from Marriott.

Booked 2 rooms(total of 6 people) No hot water in either room, pool was out of order(main reason i booked at this location). Upon leaving cleaning staff was cursing us. All issues was reported and nothing done.

Property currently under construction and renovations. Construction started early in the morning and woke myself up. Construction equipment and tools all over. Some exits and entrance were inaccessible. Over room was clean and staff was great.

I tend to judge hotels based on whether they are letting things go, like upkeeping the gym equipment and pool. Sure enough, this one had the pool closed (for repairs?), one of three cardio machines out of order, missing a 5lb and 10lb weight, no extra gym towels, no water container in the gym, and no wipes for cleaning the equipment. The gym is probably the lowest priority, but it doesn't take much effort to think about details guests might care about. I'd only pick this place again for the convenient location to visit Reading, but I'd keep my expectations low.

Very nice facility. Very clean, very nice room. Nice breakfast. The only negative aspect of this facility is the parking charge. It was only $5.95 so no big deal. However, this isn't a parking garage in a high price area, it is just a normal out in the open parking lot out in the middle of strip malls.Think of the parking lot in front of a store. AND I wasn't told about the parking fee until I checked out. Bad decision to charge that fee snd handled VERY poorly.

The pool was closed the elevator didn't work. Ice machine didn't work. And no hot water

Hot water didn't get hot reported 2x no fix went to families house to take showers. Then they charged us $3 a night to park which i never new about the lady said it started in November. I told her we were here for 4nights in November and we weren't charged. Not happy with this experience don't think we will stay any more and we usually visit 12 times a year. Sad

One side of the hotel has a problem with hot water. You need to run the shower 10-12 minutes before the water starts to get warm.apparently the hotel only has one water heater and it was the opposite side of the hotel as an issue. They are aware of it.

Was comfortable a convenient to the area. The hotel is going through renovations that made it difficult to accesss side entrance and dust. Other than that it was a comfortable stay.

Nice rooms and bathrooms. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Large seating area and menu options created a nice experience.

I could not open the window due to an active wasp nest between the screen and glass window. One of the pillows smelled of urine (not properly cleaned or swapped out).

Appreciated the cleanliness of my room.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Clean. I would stay here again.

Hallways and elevators never clean

Three of us stayed in a king suite with a pull out couch. The mattress on the pull out was incredibly uncomfortable, the springs felt like they were right under my back. Most of the pillows were so flat and lumpy. Top sheet over the bed had a brown stain on it. Asked for more towels so one of us could shower and instead of just grabbing a couple (they were not far from the desk..). We were told we’d be getting a refresh soon and had to explain we needed them at that time rather than later. I’ve stayed in many Fairfield’s and the bfast is usually ok but this was terrible. No fruit, no pastries/muffins, ran out of things frequently (yogurt, coffee), the second morning the waffle batter was sour and weird tasting we couldn’t eat it. Definitely the worst Fairfield I’ve ever stayed in.

Very disappointed when I returned to my room at 11:30 PM and it had not been serviced. When asked I was told they only service a room every 3 days. Was staying for 2 nights. I had to go to front desk for towels and they were out of washcloths. Towels were very thin. The kicker at 11:30 PM was that the bathroom was full of ants. Rooms are comfortable and convenient but I would not stay again with these services.

Room was clean. Bathroom was ok, there was a black something (mold?)on the tile area in shower and part of the trim was missing outside shower stall which left a hole for whatever to crawl through. Spider web on the ceiling above bed. Staff great. Breakfast was decent.

The problems started the night I arrived and I did not have any hot water to take a shower. I decided to try again in the morning but when i still didnt have any hot water, I went to the front desk. She took my room number down and said someone would be by to fix it. That night, I was still umable to get hot water. I went to the front desk who said she couldnt move me because they were fully booked so i should run the water for 10 minutes so the hot water tank (which was on the other side of the hotel) could reach my room. I did that (against good conscience but i was desperate) and it was still not warm enough for a shower. She advised me to try again in the morning. Imagine telling all hotel guests to run the water for 10 minutes! What a waste. The next morning, 10 minutes of wasting water was effective finally for a shower. By then i realized i had been bitten by something. Then i stripped the bed and found a few bed bugs. Took some pictures and a video and went to the front desk. That lady took my name and number, pictures and said a manager would be in by 9. When i hadnt heard from anyone by 10:45, i called the hotel and was told there was no manager on site. I was then told to call Expedia if i wanted a refund (I hadnt even mentioned the word). I said I had asked to speak to a manager because I would think they would care to hear about the experience I had. They should offer solutions to help me rectify it. I have never had worse customer service in my life.

It was ok, but sunday the room wasnt cleaned while we were out and about. Not impressed with this level of professionalism. The tub had alot of soap scum in and around. Including the walls. I would not recommend this gotel to friends or family.

We missed breakfast, most hotels serve until 10 but u closed at 9:00😩 . I had trouble with Tv to watch anything. It would have been nice to have a print out of the channels that were available. But it was a clean & quiet. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Nice place but the beds were hard as a rock and pillows were terrible

Quiet little property in Reading. No restaurant, and room was 53 degrees on arrival but quickly came up to 68

Great location, hotel looks fairly new. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside is you could hear people walking above if you stay in a lower level.

Tired and shabby decor. Very noisy guests

Noisy room, can hear the elevator bell at all times, the pool was out of service the whole time, no bathroom toiletries only toilet paper., no safe box. Johanna the front desk clerk at check in and the lady assisting around breakfast were very pleasant.

Check in staff was excellent. I wish the a/c had a diverter so it didn’t blow right across the bed.

Clean room but constant banging in wall all night from pipes from bathroom

Very out of the way in quiet area. Comfortable bed but pillows are soft and lumpy. We brought our own pillows.

Very nice place, staff made sure you were taken care of.

We checked in late. The key function was down. A clerk had to let us in the room. Inside the smell of cigarette smoke was strong. We asked for another room; none was available. Being tired we decided to stay. The breakfast was pathetic. We won't be staying at Fairfield again.

Our stay was nice and quiet and check in was the fastest I have ever checked into a hotel.

Front desk clerk was nasty

The property is nice, the reception staff is not..

On the morning of January 13 housekeeping knocked and I responded, "Occupied". I then left the room for and returned about 7 PM. When I got back to the room it was obvious the room was not made up. Dirty towels we on the floor,trash was not emptied, the coffee service need replenishment and the two queen beds were not made up. I called the desk and was told no one was available to make up the room and asked what we needed. I said what we need is for the room the be made up. I was told all they could do was give me towels. I was not satisfied with that answer and iterated that I was not getting the service and comfort I was paying for. The clerk a ten dollar adjustment on my bill. I said what I wanted was to receive the service I paid for. I was then told there was nothing else they could do and that someone would deliver the towels which was later done. I was very disappointed in the attitude and non responsive nature of the desk clerk's communication. I have stayed in this facility many times but never again.

Kim at the front desk was a gem! She checked us in and out. Attention to detail and pleasant! Took time to talk to 7yr old family member and chose a sticker w her. A great experience at this site!

After I booked the room from two weeks and after I arrived, she said no room for you and she said sorry this is our fault but there’s no room available

Checking in was great. Breakfast was fair. Cold meat. We had to pay 4 parking. Checking out was so so.

We stay in this area 3-4 times a year, and choose different hotels based on what we find. Stayed 5 days this time. Room was "cleaned" twice. Trash was not emptied, bed was barley/sloppily made. Towels were placed on sink, not in towel holder, and toilet paper was not refilled. I'm not that picky, but come on...you can do better. We had a room on the first floor -- never again -- very noisy with people talking loudly in hallway after 11pm, and we were not far from front desk but we had to call them twice to report the noise. You'd think they would have heard it. Breakfast was ok if you like cereal or toast. Other options were pretty bad. Can I kindly suggest you please stop with the powdered eggs? Nobody like those, have you tried them?!. I have to say, the staff is friendly and helpful. But, with the experience we had this time, I think we'll go back to the Hampton Inn next time.

The property was great. Nice rooms with a big bathroom and fluffy towels. Breakfast was great too. Price was cheap too

It was very clean and breakfast was good.

The area is great and had lots of cool things to do. The hotel is just OK. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was disappointing. The pancake mix was broken so no waffles. There was not meat, only eggs for the hot side. Then there were 2 types of bagels and cereal. The staff were not very friendly except for the breakfast lady. She was very kind and helpful. We bought some chef boyardee items from the little store they have and they said they didn't have any plasticware to give us even though the kitchen was 50 get away. The staff really didn't go out if their way for you.

It’s a nice property in a perfect location. Near everything. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was below average. But many choices. You won’t go hungry.

The hotel is very clean and secluded. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Hot coffee throughout the day. Staff were all great.
