Enjoyable stay, a place we plan to revisit, possibly during the summer to enjoy the pool. Tranquil setting. Excellent hosts. Take your own food for cookouts on the grill available on site.

Just a room with a bath, plus front porch, but very clean. Owners were very accommodating of anything we may need. Also a refrigerator, coffee & microwave. There were places on the property to sit and view the lake or walk 125 wooden steps through the trees down for a little exercise. Location was great for dining, hiking and general exploration. I would recommend and have. Great little getaway.

Loved the lake front cabin. Unfortunately our hot water wasnt working, but the manager promptly checked it and moved us a upgraded cabin. Very clean and well maintained. Loved the views and stairway down to Lake Erie.

My husband and I felt the staff were all very friendly, rooms were nice and cozy. We liked that access to beaches were not far. Also, the we enjoyed the pool and beautiful view. They only we wished they had was a communal fire pit. We would have liked to roast some marshmallows.

You could probably just stay right there and play volleyball, swing on the playground, swim in the pool and watch the sun set. But there's no close beach or food. That's why it's so quiet and pretty around there.

We very much enjoyed our short one night stay here to visit relatives in the area. This is an older motel with cabins but very clean and very well maintained and updated. We stayed in one of the motel rooms. The outdoor area is beautiful and large with an outdoor pool, grassy area with picnic tables, volleyball nets, etc. and best of all chairs overlooking Lake Erie. Brian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The only small problem was no electric outlet in the bathroom but there were plenty of outlets in the bedroom with a large mirror in the wall.

Very pretty views. Sunset was awesome! Staff was so nice, accomadating, friendly, and helpful. Cottage was small but sufficient, very clean, well kept! Was able to connect all my electrical devices. Sadly, will not be able to go back in summer months as pool had two ladders and NO STEPS leading into it. Not able to do ladders. Hot water was tempermental. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

What’s not to love? The cottages are right on Lake Erie within a spacious setting that includes open grass, an outdoor pool, multiple tables, chairs and glider benches in both sunny and shaded locations. The privacy of the cottages with their comfy front porches was appreciated. We met with local family members on the property which included Wi-Fi and outdoor electricity for sharing pictures. My daughter loved the private beach down below. The staff were so supportive and made sure we felt welcomed!! I’m coming back!

Absolutely adorable property. Stayed one night in the winter so it was a little cold (bathroom floor was FREEZING but fine with the bath mat), but could see the potential for a great summer vacation. Staff was beyond nice. Because it was winter they had a Dyson space heater in and working, definitely needed!!! The room was small but clean and beds extremely comfortable. Would have loved to spend more than just an overnight, passing through.

We only stayed overnight but it as very expensive for what it was. The cottage wasn’t as close to the lake as we thought and the refrigerator as very noisy so we had to close the bedroom door which made it warm in the bedroom so we turn on the ceiling fan. It made a noise all night so we didn’t really get a good nights sleep. The shower wasn’t clean so we didn’t use it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very clean. So close to the lake. Wonderful staff. Very accommodating! Would definitely stay again to try out the pool with that view in the summer. Would change "motel" sign to "cottages" much more elegant and more cottage like than the word motel.

We had an excellent 1 night stay here. Our cottage was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The property is well cared for. There are a number of choices of things to do and places to eat. Skunk and Goat restaurant was recommended by the desk. We had a very enjoyable dinner there. Northeast is a very cute little town with a nice park in the center. We also had a great lunch at Pier 6 in Erie. Our server/bartender was outstanding. (And working her way through nursing school). Breakfast at Butch’s Dinner was fun. A very small local diner. You’d probably never notice it unless someone recommended it or you found it on Yelp. Worth a visit! Plenty of wineries, antique stores and interesting architecture along the lake and route 20.

This is my second time staying at lake view On the lake, within the past two months. The owners live on the property and are very accommodating. The property is on The lake, making it that much more attractive. The rooms/cottages are small, but enough. I’ll definitely be staying there again in the future

This is a unique property - a bit rustic but also charming. There would have been more amenities at a big name hotel, but where else in this part of the country can you be a few steps from the lake and enjoy the beautiful blue water and amazing sunsets. I was also able to park just a few steps from my room. Technology in this area is, by the owners' admission, outdated. The TV would lose its connection and it would be several minutes before it came back. But the room was very clean and the area was super safe. The owners live on the property, were accessible all day, and are some of the nicest people I have met. Overall it was an enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet getaway.

This is a peaceful and quaint place. The view of the lake is fantastic and it is quiet-only birds and water are the sounds I hear! We are in the hotel which has a classic look but has everything new in it and the bed was beyond comfortable-trying to find an excuse to come back and stay longer!

Location location, this little gem was in the perfect location. We rent it the small bungalows with the porch. Everything was immaculate. This room is small as it gets with all the amenities, but is perfect if you just planing to sleep and go out and explore. The location is absolutely perfect, offering the best of both worlds. It’s conveniently close to the beach and a variety of restaurants, yet secluded enough to enjoy peace and tranquility, providing a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We loved our stay here. The owner is so nice and helpful. Really went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The setting of the property is amazing. We stayed in the motel part. It is the cutest. It was cozy and the perfect place for a fall stay on the lake. Highly recommend.

This place exceeded my expectations. The staff are on site and were very accommodating. The place itself is beautiful and quite. Cabin ( motel room as they refer to it as) #12 in my opinion, is the room to be in! You can view the lake right from your bed Excellent place & I will be returning, all the way from NJ

Loved the lake front cabin. Unfortunately our hot water wasnt working, but the manager promptly checked it and moved us a upgraded cabin. Very clean and well maintained. Loved the views and stairway down to Lake Erie.

Absolutely adorable property. Stayed one night in the winter so it was a little cold (bathroom floor was FREEZING but fine with the bath mat), but could see the potential for a great summer vacation. Staff was beyond nice. Because it was winter they had a Dyson space heater in and working, definitely needed!!! The room was small but clean and beds extremely comfortable. Would have loved to spend more than just an overnight, passing through.

We very much enjoyed our short one night stay here to visit relatives in the area. This is an older motel with cabins but very clean and very well maintained and updated. We stayed in one of the motel rooms. The outdoor area is beautiful and large with an outdoor pool, grassy area with picnic tables, volleyball nets, etc. and best of all chairs overlooking Lake Erie. Brian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The only small problem was no electric outlet in the bathroom but there were plenty of outlets in the bedroom with a large mirror in the wall.

We very much enjoyed our short one night stay here to visit relatives in the area. This is an older motel with cabins but very clean and very well maintained and updated. We stayed in one of the motel rooms. The outdoor area is beautiful and large with an outdoor pool, grassy area with picnic tables, volleyball nets, etc. and best of all chairs overlooking Lake Erie. Brian and Jenn were so amazing! Very friendly and always available when needed! The room was gorgeous and the view was absolutely stunning!! 10/10 would definitely go back!!

Very clean. So close to the lake. Wonderful staff. Very accommodating! Would definitely stay again to try out the pool with that view in the summer. Would change "motel" sign to "cottages" much more elegant and more cottage like than the word motel.

What a lovely place to spend the night! Quiet little cottage with a comfortable bed and good reading light. Really enjoyed watching the sunset and walking the steep stairs down to and up from the lake. The town of North East is nearby, although I stayed on my cabin porch and adjacent picnic table for dinner. I would definitely return.

This room is small as it gets with all the amenities, but is perfect if you just planing to sleep and go out and explore. The location is absolutely perfect, offering the best of both worlds. It’s conveniently close to the beach and a variety of restaurants, yet secluded enough to enjoy peace and tranquility, providing a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Enjoyable stay, a place we plan to revisit, possibly during the summer to enjoy the pool. Tranquil setting. Excellent hosts. Take your own food for cookouts on the grill available on site.

Just a room with a bath, plus front porch, but very clean. Owners were very accommodating of anything we may need. Also a refrigerator, coffee & microwave. There were places on the property to sit and view the lake or walk 125 wooden steps through the trees down for a little exercise. Location was great for dining, hiking and general exploration. I would recommend and have. Great little getaway.

You could probably just stay right there and play volleyball, swing on the playground, swim in the pool and watch the sun set. But there's no close beach or food. That's why it's so quiet and pretty around there.

We had an excellent 1 night stay here. Our cottage was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The property is well cared for. There are a number of choices of things to do and places to eat. Skunk and Goat restaurant was recommended by the desk. We had a very enjoyable dinner there. Northeast is a very cute little town with a nice park in the center. We also had a great lunch at Pier 6 in Erie. Our server/bartender was outstanding. (And working her way through nursing school). Breakfast at Butch’s Dinner was fun. A very small local diner. You’d probably never notice it unless someone recommended it or you found it on Yelp. Worth a visit! Plenty of wineries, antique stores and interesting architecture along the lake and route 20.

What an "off-the-beaten-path" gem. Literally on the banks of Lake Erie and in the midst of welcoming eateries, diners, wineries and less than 40 minutes from Presque Isle State Park . We needed to get away from rushing and everyday tasks and Lakeview on the Lake is the place to do that. Accomodations are "eclectic camp" vibe. The hosts are present and helpful, but not hovering. Each unit has a parking spot. Be aware that the mini cabins are mini! If you ever wondered if you'd enjoy a tiny house, here is your opportunity to find out. The outdoors calls and so much to see and do on the Lakeview grounds and near-by that we were just enamored. We live 7+ hours away and expect to make the drive to stay here again. Joining other guests to enjoy the sunset, we met couples who have been getting away to Lakeview on the Lake for 20 years. This is a fabulous place to enjoy each other, Lake Erie, and Pennsylvania's natural offerings.
