Our room was a decent size with balcony. Great shower & big bed!! Pool area was great, just what we needed to chill for a few days. Walkable to the Bouganvilla shopping centre with designer outlets, restaurants and pubs like the fabulous Cheeky Pup!! And a short drive from all the great beach restaurants like Maria’s, Julia’s, Izzy’s etc. Staff were all lovely and so helpful - many thanks!

Nice hotel with good breakfast,clean rooms, nice pool and gym. Difficult to walk anywhere because of where it's located. It was very noisy because of a rowdy group of obnoxious, drunk golfers that kept us up all night.

Breakfast was excellent, room and facilities maintained to a very high standard. All staff, whether in the breakfast room or reception were extremely helpful and friendly. A pavement from the hotel to either QDL or Vale Do Lobo would be the icing on the cake! Ubers are very reliable and plentiful.

Magnolia is a nice hotel with pleasant surroundings. The rooms are adequate, beds are comfy; though could use better space planning lfor the rooms. wWe were informed a renovation is coming later this year. The breakfast is quite good and the lounge and bar areas are nice. Best of all the staff are awesome, friendly and willing to assist where possible.

Really amazing hotel, so surprising as looks so small! Rooms quaint, but super comfy beds. Air con is amazing. Gym great size, plus spa included for sauna and jacuzzi and steam room! Breakfast also fantastic and the staff were always friendly with a smile - thanks Maggie too!

The hotel overall was friendly & the service was good. However, room cleaning was missed on two occasions. This was however, put right when raised with management. Access to the two bedroom cottages in which we stayed was a cobbled road, with many displaced trip hazard cobbles and was even worse around our cottage.

We chose the Magnolia hotel because of its convenient location right between two groups of Golf Courses- Quinta Do Lago (South, North and Laranjah courses) and Vale do Lago( Royal and Ocean courses). It exceeded our expectations from the moment we checked in. We arrived at early morning, much earlier than the check-in time, but the front desk staff checked us in right away. The process was fast and efficient. We had a room on the ground floor, very quiet, and we could park our rental car right in front of the room which was super convenient for golfers. The breakfast has good variety and the staff was very attentive. The cleaning staff was very discreet. The room always got cleaned at the right time. It was a pleasant stay! Highly recommended for a golf trip in Algarve.

Hotel was great - you can borrow bikes to get into Quinta shopping in about 3 minutes. Ubers are extremely quick, reliable and cheap to get into other areas such as Vale do Lobo (around 4 euros!). Lovely pool, amazing breakfast with so much to choose from. The only downside would be how loud the aircon was in our room.

El hotel tiene un servicio y desayuno excelentes al igual que la zona de la piscina pero el baño es pequeño de la habitación estándar plus, al igual que el armario que no es para dos personas y el compresor del aire acondicionado está en el balcón lo cual pueden evitar colocándolo por fuera del balcón.

We chose the Magnolia hotel because of its convenient location right between two groups of Golf Courses- Quinta Do Lago (South, North and Laranjah courses) and Vale do Lago( Royal and Ocean courses). It exceeded our expectations from the moment we checked in. We arrived at early morning, much earlier than the check-in time, but the front desk staff checked us in right away. The process was fast and efficient. We had a room on the ground floor, very quiet, and we could park our rental car right in front of the room which was super convenient for golfers. The breakfast has good variety and the staff was very attentive. The cleaning staff was very discreet. The room always got cleaned at the right time. It was a pleasant stay! Highly recommended for a golf trip in Algarve.

Quite a quirky, cool hotel and had a really excellent stay and great value for money. Staff were all really helpful and exceptional service, breakfast was fantastic too. Great location and would highly recommend as very good value for money.

Our room was a decent size with balcony. Great shower & big bed!! Pool area was great, just what we needed to chill for a few days. Walkable to the Bouganvilla shopping centre with designer outlets, restaurants and pubs like the fabulous Cheeky Pup!! And a short drive from all the great beach restaurants like Maria’s, Julia’s, Izzy’s etc. Staff were all lovely and so helpful - many thanks!

The customer service was excellent both in restaurant and at check in. Room small but functional with comfortable bed.Pool area very relaxing. Dangerous walk to village would advise a taxi .

Hotel was great - you can borrow bikes to get into Quinta shopping in about 3 minutes. Ubers are extremely quick, reliable and cheap to get into other areas such as Vale do Lobo (around 4 euros!). Lovely pool, amazing breakfast with so much to choose from. The only downside would be how loud the aircon was in our room.

Really amazing hotel, so surprising as looks so small! Rooms quaint, but super comfy beds. Air con is amazing. Gym great size, plus spa included for sauna and jacuzzi and steam room! Breakfast also fantastic and the staff were always friendly with a smile - thanks Maggie too!

Loved my stay at the Magnolia. Solo traveller. Great pool area. Really friendly staff. Room a little tired but ideal for what I needed. I didn’t utilise the free bikes but if I were here for longer I would have! Close to restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. Would definitely come back!

Overall a very nice stay at a fun hotel. Really the only slightly negative thing I can say is the bathrooms are quite small. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at The Magnolia in June. The staff truly made our holiday - they were friendly, smiley and were always happy to help, I cannot thank them enough for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself was quaint and we were lucky enough to stay during a quiet period so we never struggled to get a pool lounger. The only areas for improvement are the birds at breakfast (management confirmed they are looking into preventative actions) and room adaptions such as brighter lights and better socket locations. This did not affect our stay however, and again management have confirmed they plan to make changes in response to feedback which is great as it will make this hotel an even better place to stay. The only advisory is that the pool has background upbeat music playing throughout the day - some love this, some don’t, hence why I have mentioned. In terms of price, it is comparable to Ria Park which is a larger hotel with slightly nicer rooms but it can be busier, so it’s really down for the to personal preference as to whether you prefer a smaller hotel. Our bucket list is to try all the hotels in The Algarve but The Magnolia is firmly on the return list.
