Express Inn & Suites

I would not recommend this motel to anyone. The entire facility is so run down and out-dated it needs a serious overhall. Booked 4 rooms through hotel.com, upon arrival I was told hotels.com never sent the information to express inn and had to pay for 4 rooms again to ensure we had a place to stay. Had to move 2 family members to other rooms - one room the ac didn't work, the other was infested with german roaches. Infested to the point they were crawling out of the alarm clock. The room was not clean or appeared not to be clean. Sticky furniture, baseboards were coated with gunk. Pillow top mattresses were advertised - not the case in any of our rooms. It was like sleeping on plywood and the pillows were awful. There were german roaches in all of our rooms. Tried to settle in for the night and other guests decided to have a party in the parking lot at 2:00 am. 4 outlets in the room and 2 of them did not work. Landscaping (no big deal really) was awful and looked terrible which was our first indication other than Express Inn stating they had not gotten notification from Hotels.com about the payment in full. Now I'm fighting with Hotels.com to receive a refund but they are telling me it is on Express Inn. So who do you believe? Either way I'm reporting it as a fraudulent charge. This place is absolutely horrible, should be shut down and a complete overhaul done to make it decent for a human to stay.

Only thing, the pool could have been cleaned.

The bathroom was nasty and prostitutes in the parking lot where i had to park. The people in the room nextdoor left dirty diapers outside the door and nobody picked them up.stay next door at the holiday inn it was clean that's where i went for the rest of my weeks stay.

Purchased two rooms. One registered- went to the hotel and found out there was no running water or toilet. That person checked out immediately. Second person never arrived. Hotels.com was informed and the receptionist has still not given a refund- even after I paid the booking instance.

It was noisy because of a party going on . The fitness center machines did not work and the breakfast was not good. But if it’s price it’s what you get. The bed needs an upgrade. It was clean though.

Good bed, delicious breakfast, new paint job outside & in.

The room smelled and then I also said I didn’t want to be by smoking and I was by smoking rooms and then that night where I parked they was having a big party or something

Front desk worker was converted kind enough, but his shirt was stained horribly, the ceiling in the room was peeling. Housekeeping staff were wonderful. The restroom vent was caked in dust and the wall around the tub was moldy and cracking

Staff ok but property needs lors of work. Shower dirty!!!!!!

The carpet was dirty and felt a little sticky to the point of making our bare feet black.. no change from last year when we stayed here.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I usually stay there when I'm in town.

Clean room, breakfast area clean. Breakfast had eggs, cereal and waffle choice. 2 juice selections and only regular coffee.

They were bugs on the floor. There were no drawers at all. They took them out. The TV was terrible. Breakfast was really bad. Never again. Will I stay there?

Needs updated, sheets were stained, floor tiles were buckling.

THere was ONE problem. BLEACH smell was excessive. The staff was very good, and attentive.

The wifi is horrendous

For the most part, this was a decent hotel, except the bed we used had a metal box frame that squeaked every time I turned causing me to wake up every time I move or every time my husband moved on the bed. I did not sleep well. Other than that, it was clean, and staff was extremely friendly

The hotel was a good place to stay for the night. However, it needs a major overhaul inside the rooms. While the sink area was nice, the toilet seat and tub were very old and disgusting-looking. The toilet seat needed to be replaced because it didn't have a finish on it. The tub was missing all layers of its porcelain finish. The room was a non-smoking room which helped.

In my room WiFi signal was very poor. Staffs did not do much about that either. Everything except that was value for money.

The mattress was not a pillow top mattress The paint was peeling off the walls The commode lid was broke The blow dryer caught on fire

Tv did not work till fixed. Hair dryer never worked.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have stayed at a lot of “ budget” hotels and this was horrible. Shower was broken, only bath tub available but no stopper so you have to use a rag. The WORST part is the bed it is like sleeping on the floor. $85 and I wish I would have just slept in my car.

The front desk could not run my card properly so I ended up having to go get cash to pay for my room. I called my credit card company to make sure that it wasn't charging and they said that they didn't show any types of an attempt at trying to charge the card. Plus everyday I stayed I had to go back to the front to get my room key reset every day instead of keeping for my entire stay.

Very affordable. Front desk were friendly and reservation was ready at check in. Older property with nice renovations. Room was clean and very accommodating. This is the 2nd time we stayed and found it clean and comfortable.

Affordable quiet but very rude front desk staff.

The desk clerk was so courteous and helpful, and the hot breakfast was tasty and really filled us up. I'd definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at other express inns that were very nice but this one was run down, dirty (toilet under the seat part was black), and personnel seemed frustrated and not helpful. On the plus side, breakfast was very good and well stocked.

Out stay was good, breakfast was great, clerk was grumpy but everything all together hood.

We arrived after dark, so I really can't speak for the area around here. However the lady that checked me in was very nice and seemed happy to be here

They had a wonderful breakfast. Staff was nice too. Bed was ok, but we’re used to a sleep number bed at home.
