Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and nice amenities for the price and closeness to the beaches. I came with my service dog to go to the dog beach and they were animating accomodating to pets. They were helpful with questions when I needed something. There is a pool area as well as a fire pit so if you have a lot of people with you or you want to mingle with other guests there are great options. Chairs outside of every room if you want to sit outside. Would definitely stay again

No frills motel that is very clean and comfortable. The location is great. Next to Waffle House and close to the beaches. I didn’t get a chance to swim, but the pool was clean and well maintained.

Easy check in. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Walking distance for everything, restaurants, Publix. Waffle House next door. For my runners, it’s a 2 mile run to the beach. In the car 5 minutes. The pool is super nice with plenty of chairs. Laundry on site. PEFECT location. Give this place a stay. 3 days 2 nights

This is a nicely updated Inn quite close to the beach. There was a nice pool area and the maintenance and housekeeping staff were very friendly. Food options within walking distance. The Shoreline Loop trail is close by and was dog friendly. My biggest complaint is no wifi in the room. Thankfully it worked outside and the weather was pleasant to be sitting out. I would come back again.

Parking right in front of room. Clean room with full size frig and nice bathroom space. Shower was a little funky, but very hot water. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. I will definitely look at staying here again and offer it as a recommendation to anyone I know coming to the area. The only downfall was the road coming into the hotel because you had to go down and back from the beach or out and around if going to the Naval base. Doable - just inconvenient.

The room looks nice but as others have said the floors are filthy. They look clean until you walk on them in bare feet then your feet’s turn black. Our room had a broken window held together with a Ron Jon’s sticker. The fire pit appears to be just a giant ash tray. It was also very noisy. Not that anyone was yelling and screaming but the noise just echoes. There is no water pressure in the shower and because it takes so long to take a shower the light turns off due to the movement sensor being outside the room.

Decent price. The rooms are nicely updated, Although it didn’t feel clean at all. My husband got outta the shower, stepped on a towel & scooted across the floor to his clothes (he didn’t want to step on the floors with barefeet) Afterwards the towel was disgusting from the floor.

Took shower, walked to bed to set down to put socks on and the bottom of feet were black. Apparently they do not mop floors. Lights go off while in shower or using restroom due to motion sensor switch outside restroom. They advertise daily housekeeping, they did not come all day, we had to call and request towels and toilet paper, when asked why they didnt clean room, they said you have to request it. Gulf Coast Inn has a fresh coat of paint. The rooms have been remodled and the decor is light and coastal. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The pool is well taken care of and grounds are clean and free of cigarette waste. The maintenance guru Jerry is kind and puts a lot of Joy in his work. 20 minute easy access to Pensacola Beach. Waffle House is next door - so walking to breakfast was our go to. Our family will book again with other families!

The owners did a fantastic job remodelling the rooms so it doesn’t feel like a dingy motel. It’s quite nice. Unfortunately, it was so dirty with hundreds of hairs in the shower, the sink, floor, all the corners,… It was really quite disgusting.

Our room was recently remodeled, so that was nice. The blinds were not room darkening, so it was super bright in our room starting at sunrise. That’s great for the middle and end of the day, but at 6, it was a little much. The first day, I didn’t showered until late morning, and I had no hot water. The next morning, I showered earlier so there was hot water, but I do think a motel should have water heaters appropriately sized for the customer load. Saturday night, there was lots of action out on the property well into the night with lots of people out on their front porches and balconies, which wasn’t the most comfortable experience for a woman and teenaged girl to walk through. I’d probably not stay there again traveling as a woman with her child. The location was great as it was close to Pensacola Beach, but getting out of the parking lot felt a bit like playing Frogger as the traffic was pretty heavy.

Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds. Nicely remodeled bathroom, a fridge and a small microwave. There's a Waffle House next to the property and some eateries nearby. If you have a car there are numerous options across the next bridge in the next barrier island.

A surprising find on Gulf Breeze Parkway. I wouldn’t have ever considered this property until I saw it online. Rooms are super cute with a great beach cottage feel. Price was reasonable, a little road noise but not terribly distracting. Beds are comfortable. Guests are quiet. It is an older property but very well maintained, updated as well. I will definitely stay here again.

Checked in late and the room was not cleaned prior to the last guest checking out. Dirty towels, food, champagne bottle and dirty sheets on the bed. The attendant gave us clean linen and we made the bed up even though we didn’t have a fitted sheet. The attendant apologized and said this was unacceptable and he would refund us for one night and that he would have house keeping clean our room the following day. We left the room for the day to enjoy the beach and when we came back the room was still not cleaned and I never did receive a refund for the one night. Overall the room was nice and comfortable, a few minutes from the beach, and close to dining and shopping.

This is our 2nd time staying at gulf coast inn. The 1st time as a family trip. 2nd as a couple. I really enjoyed my stay both times. Its like a hidden gem. Perfect location and a decent price. The only minor issue i had was the accessibility to the front desk agent. If i needed towels or anything like that at night it was a hassle to get. But other than that, the stay was perfect. We will definitely be back.

We stopped in for a night of rest before camping for the week and it was just what we needed! Amy was so sweet and got us in a more suitable room for the family as soon as she saw us get out of the car. It was great, we will stay again!

The hotel itself was not terrible and is in a great location. What made this experience poor for us was the behavior of some of the staff. I’m assuming it was the groundskeeper, but he blared his music from his room day and night. The first night he did turn it off fairly early. The second night he played the music so loud that someone on the grounds ended up calling the police to report a noise complaint because it was well after 11 pm! The front office was called by multiple people with no answer which I’m assuming why the police were called. The office was locked the majority of the time and when you would call the number on the door nobody would answer. There was an answering machine that said they would call you back, but they never did. I’m just not sure what was going on, but we were not impressed and will not return to this hotel.

This was a last minute stop and for the price and the location it was a good value.

The hotel was nice & clean. It was decorated really nice for a quaint hotel. The location was close to the beach. It only took us 8 minutes to get there! My only complaint was the fact that they only gave us towels for 1 night. At 7:30am we brought the used ones to the office to exchange for some clean ones & was told that housekeeping would bring them to us. We finally left to go to the beach around 10:00 & still no towels!! Thank goodness we had our beach towels!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Shops and resteraunts are in walking distance. This little hotel is 5 fast minutes over the bridge from Pensacola beach. I didnt use the pool, but it looked clean and refreshing. I would stay here again

Staff is always very friendly rooms are very clean and remodeled very nice location right by the beach very quiet and peaceful once again can't say nothing about the staff they're very accommodating and the places are really unique nice place to stay.

Parking right in front of room. Clean room with full size frig and nice bathroom space. Shower was a little funky, but very hot water. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. I will definitely look at staying here again and offer it as a recommendation to anyone I know coming to the area. The only downfall was the road coming into the hotel because you had to go down and back from the beach or out and around if going to the Naval base. Doable - just inconvenient.

Ten out of ten would stay again! Perfect location. The Waffle House next door is a god send. Check in was the fastest easiest check in I’ve ever had. Obviously well maintained to bring a beach vibe and even had extra amenities such as paper towels and a fridge/freezer combo!

Gulf Coast Inn has a fresh coat of paint. The rooms have been remodled and the decor is light and coastal. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The pool is well taken care of and grounds are clean and free of cigarette waste. The maintenance guru Jerry is kind and puts a lot of Joy in his work. 20 minute easy access to Pensacola Beach. Waffle House is next door - so walking to breakfast was our go to. Our family will book again with other families!

I reserved a double and when I arrived they told me my double was changed to a single king... tralving with my sister was crazy sleeping in a single bed... king or no king...no phone .. no breakfast... parking was an issue...etc....

No frills motel that is very clean and comfortable. The location is great. Next to Waffle House and close to the beaches. I didn’t get a chance to swim, but the pool was clean and well maintained.

Easy check in. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Walking distance for everything, restaurants, Publix. Waffle House next door. For my runners, it’s a 2 mile run to the beach. In the car 5 minutes. The pool is super nice with plenty of chairs. Laundry on site. PEFECT location. Give this place a stay. 3 days 2 nights

The barn door for the bathroom was a nice touch. As well as the tiling in the bathroom. The fridge and microwave in the room was very convenient. Within walking distance of Publix and other food restaurants.

The location is nice, and the area is safe for families. Having the Waffle House next door is a nice perk as well. The unit I stayed in needed a good cleaning, especially the bathroom, that had urine odors. The refrigerator and microwave are a nice perk. Overall, I would stay again, in the hopes that the cleaning issue is resolved.

Staff was great, room very clean, AC great no complaints. I checked out the pool, water was green with algae visible on walls. Water level was low, not entering the skimmer channels. The next day the pool was cleaned, water level still below skimmer channels there must be a leak. I would not and did not swim. Also, the ice machine is located by the pool. In front of the machine there is a mat or rug which was always wet and covered in moss or green algae. Everything else was very good.

We have stayed here several times and never had any issues but our room wasn't cleaned very well this time. We had to go buy some cleaning supplies.
