Homewood Suites by Hilton Richmond - Downtown

Check-in was at three. We arrived at 3:10. We were given a room at 4:15. The room was spacious, but felt like it was rushed cleaned and didn't feel fresh. Nothing really terrible, just setting expectations for other travelers.

Yes, food was amazing and had a variety of different options for breakfast.

The ac was broken in the room given to us, so we were moved to another room. This room hadn’t been vacuumed and three light switches were not working. The phones in both rooms did not work.

Friendly staff.

The shower didn't work properly. The front desk and staff were overall very nice but when we brought this up to them they weren't able to give us an alternative room due to being completely booked so they sent someone from maintenance to try fixing it. Maintenance said (and I quote), "I don't know how to fix this, I'll come back tomorrow" We were checking out the next day so there was no point and when we told maintenance they said "oh, sorry" To make things worse, the toilet stopped flushing later that night
