Very special property - loved it! Included entry to the castle with audio tour, afternoon tea and breakfast. Beautifully appointed room and fabulous views of river and surrounding hills. Staff was wonderful.

Having access to the Castle to walk around the grounds was great, we were able to go at our own pace and fully enjoy the beauty of the Grounds and the spectacular views. The areas for special occasions and events makes this place special. People seeking a private place for a wedding or function should really consider this place.

Wonderful staff. Great customer service at front desk and restaurant. My room (which was barely any more than others in the area) came with free breakfast, free castle entry, and free afternoon tea with sandwiches and sweets. We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony and views of the castle. Nothing bad to say about my stay.

Really cool museum. Love that you can explore the grounds as much as you want as a guest. The included breakfast was excellent. Only complaint is that the wifi was no always working.

部屋の窓を開けると、鳥のさえずりが聞こえ、古城が見えます。とても良いロケーションでした。レストランのお料理もボリューム満点で、朝ごはんも大満足でした。最高な時間てしたが、ひとつだけ⋯エレベーターがなく、重く大きなスーツケースを3階まで持って上がるのがかなりキツイ作業でした。

The hotel was beautiful as a castle should be. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. A couple friends and I were hiking the Rhine River trail and it was an amazing splurge! The restaurant was delicious and the museum was fascinating. We were even able to have afternoon tea.

Absolutely gorgeous location - really spectacular! Everything was first rate. The restaurant was superb, we had dinner there twice and both meals were fantastic. We totally loved afternoon tea. The view from the veranda while drinking a nice glass of Riesling was just beautiful. And don't miss the museum next door - very interesting with some lovely views over the river. Unfortunately, our room was very plain, it could have done with a few pictures on the walls or some more TLC but that is a minor complaint when compared to how excellent everything else was.

My stay here was absolutely magical. A room stay includes afternoon tea, breakfast buffet, a ticket to the museum, and access to the castle grounds. We also had dinner at the onsite restaurant - everything was delicious!

This is an amazing place for sure with a long rich history. There has been a lot of work done to make this place a great place to stay. This castle is located in a very small town so there are no additional shops or restaurants within walking distance. For picky eaters, this could be a bit of a challenge. On my visit, the menu located outside of the restaurant had more options than what actually was available for the dinner menu and I had my reservation set for the opening of the dinner service. My room was clean and nice with a free bottle of sparkling water. There was a bee that apparently lives in the door to the restroom but it didn't trouble me so I didn't worry. While I got the bee out of the room, it came back a couple of hours later and went directly back into the door. Funny. With the limited number of rooms and being on a weekday, I was able to take a virtually private audio tour. It was nice to get pictures without other tourists in the photos.

The entrance from Mainzer St is very steep and dirt path that was quite grueling with our heavy luggage. Once we got to the top out of breath, we realized there was a road that we should have taken. We arrived at 7pm and the reception building out front was closed and the gate to the castle was locked. We were confused for quite a bit before we tried the restaurant on site. They had our room keys. Im sure part of it was because of our language barrier, but as much as we spent on the hotel I would think they would know we might encounter these issues and let us know earlier in the day. The room was clean, but very small. The rest of our stay was just fine, no complaints, just a bad first impression.

遅くに到着しましたが、感じ良く受け入れてくださいました。お部屋は清潔で、広くて快適です。そして室内にはクラシカルなバスタブ！カップルの方には最高かと思います。私達は親子なので、シャワーのみでした^ ^ レストランも美味しかったです。やはりドイツ！とってもボリューミー＾＾朝ご飯もドイツならではの、チーズ、パン、ペースト類、等々。卵料理はオーダーも出来るので、熱々を頂けます。お城の博物館も興味深いものが多くありました。中世好きな方は良いと思います。

Eine wirklich tolle und besondere Location. Unser Zimmer Nummer eins war großartig und hatte Blick auf die Burg sowie den Rhein. Alles war in einem tollen Zustand, luxuriös und sauber. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Wer etwas besonderes sucht, ist hier absolut richtig.

Amazing castle stay and a very luxury weekend. Cant say anything negative about it. High tea and breakfast was included and we got a River view room with breath taking views. Would definitely want to come back here, again and again.

ライン川沿いのホテルに泊まりたくて、予約しました。お部屋からライン川の眺望は素晴らしいです。　朝のヴッフェは、品数は少ないですが、どれもクオリティが高くて，美味しかったです。最寄り駅に停まる、電車の本数が少なく、バッハラッパで、タクシーを呼んでもらい，訪問しました。　帰りは電車で、バッハラッパまで行き、ライン川クルーズで、リューデスハイムに戻りました。バッハラッパの村も素晴らしいので、是非一緒に観光してください。

Wonderful staff. Great customer service at front desk and restaurant. My room (which was barely any more than others in the area) came with free breakfast, free castle entry, and free afternoon tea with sandwiches and sweets. We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony and views of the castle. Nothing bad to say about my stay.

The start to our stay was not good. We got off the train at Trechtingshausen and Google Maps told us to head down Mainzer St. to get to the hotel. The entrance from Mainzer St is very steep and dirt path that was quite grueling with our heavy luggage. Once we got to the top out of breath, we realized there was a road that we should have taken. We arrived at 7pm and the reception building out front was closed and the gate to the castle was locked. We were confused for quite a bit before we tried the restaurant on site. They had our room keys. Im sure part of it was because of our language barrier, but as much as we spent on the hotel I would think they would know we might encounter these issues and let us know earlier in the day. The room was clean, but very small. The rest of our stay was just fine, no complaints, just a bad first impression.

My kids and I stayed here. It was such a delight. There didn't seem to be much to do right in the small town where we were. The castle was perfect though for one night. We did the entire tour, had tea which was incredible, and then eventually had dinner which was also great. Breakfast too! We hiked around the town a bit and came back to hang out on site. If you stay for longer, make sure you check out the neighboring towns if you are looking for more to do. It is the Rhine for crying out loud, there is plenty if you have the time.

This is an amazing place for sure with a long rich history. There has been a lot of work done to make this place a great place to stay. This castle is located in a very small town so there are no additional shops or restaurants within walking distance. For picky eaters, this could be a bit of a challenge. On my visit, the menu located outside of the restaurant had more options than what actually was available for the dinner menu and I had my reservation set for the opening of the dinner service. My room was clean and nice with a free bottle of sparkling water. There was a bee that apparently lives in the door to the restroom but it didn't trouble me so I didn't worry. While I got the bee out of the room, it came back a couple of hours later and went directly back into the door. Funny. With the limited number of rooms and being on a weekday, I was able to take a virtually private audio tour. It was nice to get pictures without other tourists in the photos.

Absolutely gorgeous location - really spectacular! Everything was first rate. The restaurant was superb, we had dinner there twice and both meals were fantastic. We totally loved afternoon tea. The view from the veranda while drinking a nice glass of Riesling was just beautiful. And don't miss the museum next door - very interesting with some lovely views over the river. Unfortunately, our room was very plain, it could have done with a few pictures on the walls or some more TLC but that is a minor complaint when compared to how excellent everything else was.

My stay here was absolutely magical. A room stay includes afternoon tea, breakfast buffet, a ticket to the museum, and access to the castle grounds. We also had dinner at the onsite restaurant - everything was delicious!

This is a beautiful castle hotel overlooking the Rhine. The hotel and rooms are immaculate. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The location is great if you have a car otherwise the train is fairly convenient but a long walk down the hill. The castle museum located on the property is amazing. Our room, while very pretty, was very small with no air conditioning. I would suggest requesting a room on the first floor because of this as well as there is no elevator. There was no where to put our luggage except on the floor. I requested a luggage stand and they brought me a small table to put it on. When we arrived, the staff was very helpful with carrying our bags to our 2nd floor room, however, when we checked out for an early flight, there was no one around and the reception was not open. Despite some of the negatives, the hotel is first class and beautiful.

This hotel is fantastic and very beautiful. The staff are the best and very professional. The afternoon tea was great with a full selection of small treats. The breakfast was excellent as well. This castle boasts a museum and the opportunity to explore which makes it a great place to visit with children even if just for the day. Of our 2.5 week trip to 3 countries, staying here was the highlight.
