L hotel Rachel est petit et plutot sympathique,joli patio éxtèrieur,mais pas de tv dans la chambre ni de gel douche dans la salle de bain...

I came through Paris for a concert, and I picked this hotel because it was only a 20 minute walk from the concert venue. It was a simple room and set up, although not as clean as I would have liked but I at least could tell the bathroom and sheets were clean so that was a win. The hotel had a lovely communal garden with food from a neighboring cafe available for extended hours. The area around the hotel was safe, and there were plenty of food options right on the same street. I was never given any wifi information, as the person working the front desk only spoke French so there was very little actual communication beyond pointing and a few sentences translated with Google. Overall, not a bad hotel for a quick trip where you aren't expecting to spend extended time in the hotel. It certainly worked for me :)

Une façade peu engageante. Un agréable patio à l’intérieur où l’on peut prendre son petit déjeuner ou simplement s’asseoir pour lire. La chambre tout confort est correcte. Un petit restaurant juste en face vous permet de prendre un repas ou un café.

no air condition - 37 degree waaas to hot for that. Bathroom outside the Building. Not really clean. Just one towel for 4 days.

Pas de climatisation

Chambre confortable et agréable mais ne correspond pas à 100 % à la description. La salle de bain et les WC ne sont pas dans la chambre mais à l’extérieur.

Karşılama güzel değildi. Oda çok küçüktü. Tuvalet banyo ortak kullanımda ve inanılmaz kirliydi.

I booked the room for 4 nights. Property pictured was not the same as the accommodations. Very dirty room in bad neighborhood. Shower and bathroom are not attached to room. You must cross a courtyard that is shared with complex. I stayed less then 20 mins. I wasted a large part of my travel day finding another room which was available. I also had to spend much more because my original reservation was made in advance.

Nous n'avons pas pris possession de la chambre car elle était complètement insalubre avec de fortes odeurs d'humidité avec un service d'accueil médiocre. Soirée cauchemardesque.

Sale et froid pas d'accueil dérange la nuit

L'accueil n'était pas professionnel, l'hôtel n'était pas assez propre. Il y avait beaucoup de bruits. Pas de serviettes livrées en chambre. Déclenchement à deux reprises de l'alarme la nuit.

La chambre est correct, la literie aussi. J’ai eu une chambre donnant sur le patio extérieur, ça donne une petite ambiance calme. Les blocs sanitaires et douches sont propres et bien chauffés. Le quartier est calme et de possède nombreuses possibilités de restauration. Le personnel est sympathique

A fuir , même une étoile c'est de trop. Des poils partout , n'utilisez pas les lits !! le sol pas propre, des murs ultra fin , pas une chose n'est pas casser, un évier sans eau chaude , pas de télé, pas de détecteur de fumée, pas de serviettes, toilette et douche dans le jardin...

We had an awful experience at Hotel Rachel in Paris. And an awful experience booking through Hotels.com. Firstly, the guy in the reception would not let us check in to our room. His reason being that we arrived after the reception had closed. The only problem was that we had booked through Hotels.com with the promise that we would be able to check-in until midnight. After about 30 minutes of discussion with the guy at the reception he finally gave us a key. Upon entering the room an awful smell of sewage hit us. The room was definately not clean, as witnessed by the odor of sewage and the cobwebs in the corners of the room. When we booked the room we payed extra to have our own bathroom, which was a waste of money, since the toilet wasn't even able to flush. At this moment we were already looking for other hotels online. But the thing that made us leave the hotel immediately, and go outside with our luggage on the street searching for new hotels, was the fact that we found mold on the walls, particularly in the wardrobe of the room. A clear health risk that didn't seem to bother the hotel at all. We called Hotels.com's support line to ask for a refund of our money, but the answer was: "Unfortunatly we can't give you the money back, unless the hotel agrees to it". Mind you this is the same hotel that do not hold up the agreement on check-in times made, and that deams it fit, to put a pregnant couple in a mold infested hotel room with an unflushable toilet.

Hôtel pas cher, personnel sympathique. Attention paiements en espèces uniquement. Propreté moyenne, mais surtout des puces de lit dans les couvertures qui ne semblent jamais lavées... Je suis parti couvert de boutons. Sinon hôtel calme et très bien situé. Je serais revenu s'il n'y avait pas de puces de lit. Dommage.

Efter første overnatning med tidligere omtalte voldelige skænderi hos naboen (der er meget lydt) og de rejste, gik det ok. Værelserne var ok og rene og personalet flinke, hyggelig gårdrum og man spiste rimelig billigt i kvarteret omkring. Alt i alt en god tur til Paris.

The walls are super thin, we could hear every noise from other guests, it was cold and no thick duvet was provided, no hair dryer nor shampoo. Only cash payment on the property. The area was not that bad; kebab and a convenience store and a cafeteria.

Quand je suis arrivé la personne de la réception me dit qu'il n'avait pas mis de serviette dans la chambre et qui s'en occuper au plus vite de retour à l'hôtel le soir en passant par la réception je lui demande s'il m'avait mis des serviettes il m'a dit oui oui je les aime je les apporte dans 10 minutes il était 21h 23h toujours pas de serviette pour se doucher je me suis douchée et je me suis essuyé avec mon t-shirt au bout d'un moment vers 23h30 je me suis dit s'il ne m'apporte pas de serviette demain ça va être le même problème je téléphone à la réception il me dit oui je les apporte dans 5 minutes minuit est passé il tape à ma porte j'étais en train de dormir il m'apporte une serviette la serviette était humide presque trempé je me suis demandé si il s'arrêtait pas servi avant de me l'apporter du du coup le lendemain même étape j'ai pas voulu me servir de cette serviette je n'étais pas sûr de sa propreté j'ai dû me doucher et m'essuyer encore avec mon t-shirt et dans l'après-midi je suis allé acheter une serviette pour pouvoir m'essuyer le soir pour prendre ma douche je vous assure que la douche c'est dommage je n'ai pas pu prendre de photos j'ai fait une vidéo mais je ne peux pas la mettre sur le site vous êtes un peu enrobé vous pouvez pas rentrer dans la douche je ne suis absolument pas satisfait de cet hôtel pour le prix que j'ai payé voilà mon expérience avec cet hôtel

There is no AC at this place and the front desk does not speak English. Only stayed at this place because it was the cheapest around but it would have been much better to pay that extra $20 a night than to stay here. Definitely would not recommend for tourist who don’t know English and are used to AC.

Zero service not friendly Staff

We chose this hotel because it was among the cheapest in Paris, so our expectations were low, but the hotel was a positive suprise. The staff were amazing. They provided us with a fan when the temperatue outside was high. We didn’t even have to ask. Location was good too. It was only a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station. The shared toilets and showers were clean.

No duvet in the room staff close reception but they are there no service night time if you need anything room totally different as shown on picture Staff very rude even they understand still saying no English

The staff were helpful, but the room had damage (broken floor, damaged shelves), lighting was poor and the wifi didnt work at all (even after paying the 3 euros). They would also not provide an invoice. DO NOT BOOK for business travel.

Un lieu accueillant dans un quartier en rénovation avec beaucoup de petits commerces proches. Pas de parking mais nous avons trouvé facilement une place dans la rue . Bon rapport qualité/prix

É uma estadia ok, fica um pouco afastado do centro de Paris, é um lugar calmo, a única coisa que eu não gostei foi o banheiro que fica na parte de fora, onde temos que andar no frio pra usar.

Well the price matches the hotel. They don’t give you a rag or soap, good thing a supermarket is couple feet away. To buy anything they don’t have. Would not recommend unless you working with a very very small budget.
