Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate

We really enjoyed staying on the Biltmore property. We did not have a car so paid to use the shuttle bus to take us to the mansion. Rebecca was our driver and gave us so much information. Thanks to her we learned a lot more. The restaurants on property where very good, especially the Bistro. It was March so still a little chilly but the hotel has a fire pit on from 8am till 10pm. We enjoyed drinking our wine out there and chatting with many other guests. We had no trouble getting an Uber when we checked out, although they said it may be hard in busier times. I would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful property. Room was tasteful, new and spotless. Beds are only doubles or a king, I believe. No queens. Complimentary wine in the afternoon. Nice pool. Restaurants and winery walkable. Flowers abundant. If disabled, there is no valet and must walk stairs to parking lot. One can drive up to the entrance to lead and unload. Lovely stay.

Great trails for hiking and biking on property. Parked, stayed and explored with no need to drive into Asheville.

Staying at the village hotel on biltmore estate is definitely the way to go when visiting overnight. The quality of the hotel is better than the typical Marriott standards and you have unlimited access to the grounds and village. The bed is a bit firm, but overall as expected. I had read that the rooms were loud, but I didn’t hear any noise from my room and I am a very light sleeper. We were in an ideal location, tucked away on a corner on the fourth floor so that might make a difference. I saw the pool and it did look nice, but since there was no hot tub we didn’t bother with it. Being close to the winery was nice and I would have liked to stay another day to experience more of what the Biltmore had to offer. One night is really not enough. The food is pricey so be prepared to spend on that. A continental breakfast would definitely add appeal to the stay. It would be nice if the village social had something like that.

Nice spacious room, comfortable stay. The lobby was inviting. Severa different dining options weee available close by on the estate. Plenty of parking for hotel guests. Winery was within walking distance, and wine tasting was an added attraction!

The room was ready when we arrived. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. I liked the Keurig in room. The shower was on the larger side. We used the pool a few days. It was heated and also very clean.

This is our second time staying at the Village Hotel. We like how close it is to dining and activities, like the winery and the village. Parking is plentiful and free. The only thing I would change is that the Estate has a shuttle for Inn guests only, but I would make it available to all guests, because it literally drives right past the Village hotel with no one on it. If the Estate is priding itself on local, sustainable, environmentally friendly efforts then why force everyone to drive when the shuttle is running?

Lots of hair around the base of the toilet when I got to the room was very offsetting. Water pressure was poor. Shower leaked everywhere.

Room and hotel were very clean. Staff was very friendly, beds could have been more comfortable (I’m a bed snob) otherwise a great stay, lots to do.

Average hotel at premium price. Location is great if you are touring The Biltmore but the hotel and restaurant are average. Weather was hot and humid and although room was cool, it was clammy inside the room - even sheets felt damp. Some dust and mold in bathroom and shower floor was very slippery. No mat or bar to hang onto. Breakfast at restaurant was $50 for 2 people. Outlets in nightstands were hard to reach because they were way on back wall inside nightstand. All other outlets were turned sideways (even bathroom) so you couldn’t plug Apple Watch charger except inside nightstand

This is a lovely hotel! The room was large, clean & well appointed. I would highly recommend this place for Biltmore visitors. It’s close to downtown where we ate. The staff was also welcoming & helpful.

We love staying at the Village Hotel at the Biltmore! It is such a great hotel and very convenient when visiting the Biltmore house in Asheville. It’s very clean and staff is always friendly!

The service was good but the bed was the worst I’ve ever slept in. One mattress had a hole wollowed out and both worst very hard. The pillows were also stiff and cheap feeling. I expected the Biltmore to have invested in their bedding and comfort for guests. The Village, Biltmore house, and restaurants were great.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are large and have a great layout. However, the beds are small and very uncomfortable. This stay was part of a road trip in which we stayed at 4 different hotels. We all agreed these beds were by far the worst. Also, our air conditioner did not seem to work properly. No matter what temp we set it on, it never dropped below 71, making it warm but not uncomfortably hot in the room. The property around the hotel is very nice with shops and restaurants, but things do close early. We ate at the Village social and had drinks at Cedric’s tavern. The service at both was very poor. Much better food and beverage options in downtown Asheville, not far from the estate. The creamery was good and we also enjoyed a bottle of wine outside which was nice and relaxing.

Major problem was WIFI

We were hopeful this hotel would be nice given it’s on the Biltmore property. Sadly, we were wrong. We asked at check in if we could request a “room with a view” to which the woman said “Great news. You’re getting the last one.” Spoiler: Our room did NOT have a view. It was literally of the parking lot and the view couldn’t get much worse (see photo). The room itself was awkwardly shaped, and the bathroom configuration was quite possibly the strangest I’ve seen. The worst part of the experience was definitely the horribly uncomfortable bed and crappy pillows that caused us to toss and turn all night. Next time we will spend the extra money and stay at The Inn again.

The beds a too firm.

Given the price of this lodging, it was a disappointing stay. The rooms were ordinary and in need of some attention. Furniture was worn and scratched. Bed was not comfortable. Housekeeping is provided every other day and bathroom floor was not particularly clean. I had to chase down staff to find some soap and an extra towel. Most disappointing was the fact there was absolutely no Wi-Fi in the room for the entire length of my stay. I needed to go down to the lobby whenever I needed to text or call someone. I repeatedly went to the front desk and they offered no solution, only excuses. I checked with several other guests on the same floor and they confirmed the same issue so the problem was not my three different devices as the front desk insisted. Given the beautiful and isolated setting for the lodge, there is also no cell phone service whatsoever so Wi-Fi becomes increasingly important. At $300 per night, a hotel really needs to provide Wi-Fi for its guests. Food service and restaurants on the property are very expensive and just adequate. For $5, the coffee bar offers a plain bagel which is the quality of a plastic-wrapped bagel you get for free at other facilities. Following check out, I spent an additional three days in downtown Asheville at a comfortable well-maintained facility for half the price. Hard to recommend this place, despite the beautiful setting on the grounds of the Biltmore.

The air conditioner in the room did not work well. It was set at a certain temperature but it never kicked on and got really hot in the room

Wonderful stay. Able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Morgan greeted us at check-in and was very helpful throughout our stay!

Staff remedied the issue of the wrong type of room assigned. They were courteous and made sure we were comfortable. Property is very nice.

The Biltmore Hotel was a beautiful venue for a room. The property closed the Village at 5 p.m., so it left quite a space for the evening. The food onsite was only average. It was nice to go into town and enjoy Asheville as a whole and eat in town. Overall, if you want a beautiful room and view, choose the Biltmore Hotel. If you want a full experience, night life, etc... you will need to go off property as of Summer 2025.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel. The location in the Biltmore Estate was very convenient. We enjoyed being in the center of the Antler Hill Village area, we could walk to many restaurants and shops.

Pretty hotel on the gorgeous grounds of the Biltmore Estate. Guests get full access to the grounds (not including the interior tour of the estate which is extra). Nice walking and biking paths and convenient dining choices in the hotel and nearby in the Biltmore Village. A++ all around@

Great location!!! Great amenities. Food/drink a bit pricey. Service was pretty good. Everyone nice.

It is located in the center of the village area, with easy access to shops, winery, restaurants, and not far from farm and kid's playground. We also enjoyed our walk from village to the Inn, along which we saw the vineyard and beautiful vies of blue ridge mountains. Staffs are friendly. Restaurant choices are great. Village Social is a farm to table style. Their food ingredients are extremely fresh. Cocktails are creative. The Bistro is a wonderful French inspired restaurant. We love outdoor seating. A little more casual where you can enjoy summer breeze in the mountain. Touring Biltmore means a lot of walking. Staying on the estate provided us a comfortable place to take rest among different activities.

I could not sleep as the we could hear children screaming in the room beside us. Restaurant food is very good but really small portions and slow service. The access to the rooms are long walks. Bike rental was not open until 1 pm in a Saturday… The Biltmore grounds is gorgeous we loved!

Incredible property, dining options and service. A must-go destination.

The hotel is great, but its location is amazing! There are so many things to do in and around the hotel that you would need a couple weeks to enjoy them all. But the food at all of the restaurants is top notch with special care given to have a unique menu with a touch of gourmet. There is something for everyone. Highly recommended.

The hotel wifi is definitely a problem if you plan on doing any work on a MacBook while staying there. My MacBook would not connect to the hotel WIFI. When I asked the front desk for a solution they said it’s a known issue to them if you’re working on a Mac. This was a real disappointment as I had work to do on my trip and was basically paralyzed as they hadn’t address an issue that was known to them for quite some time. Food quality at the bistro was ok but overpriced for what it was. Best thing about the property was the Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ truck and the grounds of the estate are pretty.

Lovely location in Biltmore Village! Cozy bar and restaurant on premises with delicious food and friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable and beautifully designed. We loved it!

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay. The dining options are very varied and delicious. There are miles of trails to walk about on the estate property and we did our best to walk them all.
