Guesthouse Villa Scalaria

Excellent location and wonderful host! This property is in an amazing location, right next to the historic center of Split and within easy walking distance of so many restaurants, cafes and shops. The room and bathroom were both huge, very clean and comfortable, and equipped with personal sized toiletries, coffee and tea. For the location and accommodations, I thought it was an excellent value. One important tip for future guests: this property can be difficult to find the first time, especially if you or your driver have never been there. GPS may take you to the street below near the Ambassador Hotel. From there, cross the street, walk up through the city squares and turn left until you find a large metal gate. Go through the gate to access the property. I had a very difficult time finding it when I arrived, but thankfully the wonderful Julija was actually out looking for me and found me wandering around! Another tip: the doors to the rooms are very stiff and you have to push quite hard to open them. I had seen this mentioned in another review, and I'm glad I had because I initially thought my key wasn't working. The key was fine. The door just needed a good push. Finally, I can't emphasize enough how wonderful Julija was. She was incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Overall, a great stay in a fantastic location, its not the Ritz but so many efforts and care are shown at thisand I would definitely stay again.

I love this hotel, it’s at the end of the Riva with plenty of restaurants, and walking distance to daily tour pick ups and boat tours. The area is clean and safe. The room was a nice size, the beds were very comfortable and it was quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again.

My friends were staying across the street , I loved the convenience of this location, close to Old Town and fantastic restaurants! Staff were very welcoming, and excellent at recommendations for things to do and see! Julia was wonderful, I will miss seeing her!

It was overall a solid place to stay in Split if you are just going to be out exploring all day. We had a problem with our AC and when I reached out to management no one answered so we were stuck in a really hot room for the night. There was one young male working the front desk at different hours of the day and the reception was in the basement so a little weird to get to because you had to take the stairs that did not have any light down to the reception desk in a small closet like room. Room was fine and was good for 2 people

スプリットでリーズナブルで清潔な宿でした。ホテルは外部からわかりにくいので、近くに来たら連絡を入れる必要があります。駐車場まで係りの方が案内してくれました。とても親切でよかった。また近くのレストランなども教えてくれました。次の日のお昼まで駐車場が使えてよかったのと、街からも近くてとても良い滞在でした。
