The room is incredibly warm. The ventilation in the bathroom runs continuously and is not only noisy, but adds to the heat in the room. The refrigerator in the room does not work. The carpet is dirty and the cleaning is superficial.

I stayed at the plaza for two nights and honestly I wish I could of stayed longer. It was great! I love the town and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I arrived early and I was able to check in early and get a room with no hassle. The only thing I would suggest is maybe have space heater in the rooms it was a bit cold in the night. But other than that. I would come back here and stay again :)

Overall, it's ok. The room was clean, and they were coming every day to ask if they need to clean anything and empty the bin. The room where I was just above some kind of workers who were very noisy during the day, but during the night was everything fine. Internet connection was ok. The fridge bar was empty and they told me that's because of covid, so they let guests put their own stuff there, which is also ok. The biggest issue I had was that when I came to do checkin, was Sunday and nobody was there so I had to use the auto checkin option with machine. That machine was asking me to pay for the hotel costs, even though I already paid them through Expedia. I had no option than to pay, because machine didn't want to complete the process before I pay. So, it was a little bit unplanned costs for me and if I didn't have money to pay it, I would probably need to sleep on the street. :-) They were very quick to refund me this amount, so no worries for that. When I was leaving, another guy had an issue with the machine as well, he was a Swiss citizen and he was confused with something. Overall, it's good to come during the regular hours if you plan to do checkin. Overall, a good place to stay, nothing really to complain.

The hotel is in the old town of Winterthur. Very convenient for dining and close to the train station. The room has a Nepresso machine and a refrigerator. Can’t ask more for the price.

Room stank of smoke, floor was completely filthy, bedding thin and pillows smelled old. Wallpaper missing in places and it was placed right by a huge main road. Barely slept. Bathroom seemed ok but shower leaked all over the floor. Very basic amenities. Seems very barely attended, nobody there kid morning when I left. Also charged me 23 sfr to park the car. In addition I think it’s being used as a brothel. Very unsavoury gentleman waiting outside and a very glamorous young woman went down in the lift to meet him. All in all about my worst hotel in years.

Arrivé en fin d'après midi dans une chambre digne d'un four, pas de climatisation et seulement un ridicule ventilateur, la rue très bruyante ne permet pas de laisser la fenêtre ouverte la nuit. Je pense que cet endroit doit être agréable hors saison d'été! Aucun interlocuteur dans l'hôtel. Les pires 2 nuits de notre voyage! Terrible place in the summer time, no AC and impossible to sleep with the window open on a very noisy street!

A very nice, clean and modern room with complimentary water and wifi. Air conditioning would have been of benefit and possibly expected; but the property, the staff, location and more so the room, were excellent and good value for money. I will certainly use this accommodation again.

Die Unterkunft ist ok, das Bett leider viel zu weich und für das Frühstück auf dem Zimmer fehlte leider ein Stuhl. Das Frühstück war sehr ausreichend!

Es war ok. die Fotos sind deutlich toller als es wirklich ist. Rezeption in begrenzte Uhrzeiten, ist für ein 3 sterne Hotel nicht normal. Das Putzpersonal war sehr laut auf den Gängen, am Sprechen und Musik hören. Das war unangenehm um 8:30 morgens. selbst nachdem ich sagte wir wären davon wach geworden und bat etwas leiser zu sein sagte sie, es würde aber gleich noch lauter weil die saugen müsste. Frühstück kann man nur ins Zimmer bestellen. 20 Franken Pro person, happig.

I stayed at the plaza for two nights and honestly I wish I could of stayed longer. It was great! I love the town and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I arrived early and I was able to check in early and get a room with no hassle. The only thing I would suggest is maybe have space heater in the rooms it was a bit cold in the night. But other than that. I would come back here and stay again :)

Overall, it's ok. The room was clean, and they were coming every day to ask if they need to clean anything and empty the bin. The room where I was just above some kind of workers who were very noisy during the day, but during the night was everything fine. Internet connection was ok. The fridge bar was empty and they told me that's because of covid, so they let guests put their own stuff there, which is also ok. The biggest issue I had was that when I came to do checkin, was Sunday and nobody was there so I had to use the auto checkin option with machine. That machine was asking me to pay for the hotel costs, even though I already paid them through Expedia. I had no option than to pay, because machine didn't want to complete the process before I pay. So, it was a little bit unplanned costs for me and if I didn't have money to pay it, I would probably need to sleep on the street. :-) They were very quick to refund me this amount, so no worries for that. When I was leaving, another guy had an issue with the machine as well, he was a Swiss citizen and he was confused with something. Overall, it's good to come during the regular hours if you plan to do checkin. Overall, a good place to stay, nothing really to complain.

Wir hatten 3 Zimmer gebucht, weil wir in der alten Kaserne einen Event hatten. 1 Stund vor Check-in ruft uns eine Frau der Rezeption an und teilte mit, dass sie nur 2 Zimmer für uns hat. Netterweise hatte sie ein Hotelzimmer beim Bahnhof gebucht. Doch hatten wir extra dieses Hotel gewählt wegen der Nähe zur alten Kaserne.

Das Personal ist eine echte Katastrophe. Sinnlose Diskussionen über den Krieg, völlig unangebracht, unfreundlich und respektlose Antworten. Sie diskriminieren uns, weil wir anders denken. Wir waren drei Nächte dort und dreimal klopften drei verschiedene Männer (angeblich Gäste) an unsere Tür, einer von ihnen versuchte, die Tür zu öffnen. Dann erfuhren wir, dass es sich um ein Hotel für Prostituierte handelt! Wir hatten große Angst. Das Frühstück entspricht nicht dem Foto, das dort gezeigt wird.

Facility is responsible for rooms and people in the rooms. Reception was unmanned whole weekend. Who should be contacted in case some problem occurred? Problem was a human kind-noisy neighbours:music, sex, talks. Why I need witnessing all this happenings?

A very nice, clean and modern room with complimentary water and wifi. Air conditioning would have been of benefit and possibly expected; but the property, the staff, location and more so the room, were excellent and good value for money. I will certainly use this accommodation again.

The hotel is in the old town of Winterthur. Very convenient for dining and close to the train station. The room has a Nepresso machine and a refrigerator. Can’t ask more for the price.

Es war ok. die Fotos sind deutlich toller als es wirklich ist. Rezeption in begrenzte Uhrzeiten, ist für ein 3 sterne Hotel nicht normal. Das Putzpersonal war sehr laut auf den Gängen, am Sprechen und Musik hören. Das war unangenehm um 8:30 morgens. selbst nachdem ich sagte wir wären davon wach geworden und bat etwas leiser zu sein sagte sie, es würde aber gleich noch lauter weil die saugen müsste. Frühstück kann man nur ins Zimmer bestellen. 20 Franken Pro person, happig.

Die Unterkunft ist ok, das Bett leider viel zu weich und für das Frühstück auf dem Zimmer fehlte leider ein Stuhl. Das Frühstück war sehr ausreichend!

check-in when reception is closed is very difficult as staff did not give code for key safe. We got locked out after 2 days and again staff was difficult to get hold of. There was only 1 hanger in the wardrobe , the pipe in the shower was leaking. It did get fixed quickly after complaining. All this would not happen if staff was trained properly.

We booked 2 rooms. Rooms were dirty. Carpet looked really old and stained . Sheets were itchy. AC was centralized but was broken. They offered fans 😃. Staff barged in and out of the room using their own key while we were in there. No privacy. Felt so unsafe. We checked out after an hour.

Room stank of smoke, floor was completely filthy, bedding thin and pillows smelled old. Wallpaper missing in places and it was placed right by a huge main road. Barely slept. Bathroom seemed ok but shower leaked all over the floor. Very basic amenities. Seems very barely attended, nobody there kid morning when I left. Also charged me 23 sfr to park the car. In addition I think it’s being used as a brothel. Very unsavoury gentleman waiting outside and a very glamorous young woman went down in the lift to meet him. All in all about my worst hotel in years.
