Tyst och behagligt läge i en mindre ort. Vackert gammalt hus med många bevarade detaljer. Gratis parkering på gården. Stor trädgård som passade oss bra att leka i efter en lång dag i biken för ett litet barn. Välkomnandet var ok, inte mer. Rymligt rum, men inte så bekväm säng. Vad vi inte gillade var att det står "frukost ingår" men det gällde bara en croissant + kaffe, ville man ha en riktig frukost fick man lägga till. Känns som ett lite fult sätt att komma med i kategorin "frukost ingår".

We were shocked to receive a message from the hotel owner just 1–2 hours before arrival, on one of the hottest days of the year, demanding an extra €15 per day for air conditioning. This charge had NEVER been disclosed when we booked. Under French consumer law, additional charges must be clearly disclosed before booking. Hidden charges do not comply with consumer-protection and price-transparency requirements. The demand came only after our cancellation period had expired and while we were already travelling to the hotel. Imposing an undisclosed charge at that stage is contrary to EU and French consumer law. We arrived around 10 p.m. to a completely dark property, with no welcome or assistance. Our room had a strong damp smell, and the wardrobe was so dusty that we could not use it. No hospitality shown. The worst part was checkout. The manager demanded €45 for the undisclosed air-conditioning charge. We had already reported the matter to Hotels.com, which had opened an investigation. I politely explained that we are law professor, and that such hidden charges breach consumer-protection rules and should have been clear during reservation/website. The manager responded by shouting at and berating us in front of our two young children. Despite our repeated requests to lower her voice, she continued. She threatened to call the police; we welcomed this and waited for about an hour, but no police came. In all my years of travelling, I have never experienced such rudenes.

I wish I had trusted the one bad reviewed and ignored all the good ones…. But I did the opposite. We arrived and then left immediately - the room was not clean, there was no toilet paper, no hand soap and the towels were stained. Our impression of the whole establishment was that it is many years since the official photographs were taken and the overall level of upkeep is quite poor. We had paid a family room price of £160 for one night as part of a European summer trip - for this price in both France and the rest of Europe, a higher standard of hygiene is usual. It was also a bit strange - not that it mattered in the end - that check-in was strictly 5pm until 8pm and yet it was self-service with no humans present. Instead, we booked the family room at the B&B Hotel a few miles away - whilst it lacked the charm of a traditional French building, it was spotlessly clean. And half the price.

Amazing! Lovely location, kids loved exploring the garden, swimming pool was perfect. Couldn’t have done more for us

Attention L'hôte mentionnne sur le site que le petit dejeuner est offert Il n'en est rien on vous demandera un supplément de 15€ pour y avoir droit ,une fois que vous aurez réservé. Pas correct du tout ,il faut au moins enlever la mention " petit déjeuner offert " sur l'annonce
