Double check the information on Hotels.com with the actual hotel information. We had a hiccup with breakfast and had to pay an extra $16 when we got there. :( Otherwise, nice stay. Hotel room was simple yet clean. Pool wasn’t available, so again, check before you go if that’s important to you. Nice view of the bridge and river, too.

Really friendly staff and they check on you to make sure you are happy. Wonderful rooms with a massive TV. The pool is one of the biggest indoor pools I've ever seen at a hotel and my family loved it. Located right at the base of the bluewater bridge.

I should have called the hotel first. There were several kids hockey tournaments staying at the hotel. It was noisy, couldnt get into the pool or gym, and the buffet was all cleaned out by the time the kids got theough with it.

We had a three night stay View of St. Claire River and Lake Huron made the extra price for our room money well spent. A good restaurant on site made eating in very easy. Fitness center was well equipped and managed. Noon for checkout made our final day non stressing. Nothing stood out as a negative.

Every staff member was incredibly nice and helpful. The room was very musty smelling and didn't seem too clean. The bed was very uncomfortable and shook every time I or my husband moved. The AC unit rattled like something was loose. The door to the balcony had holes and was VERY dirty, along with the balcony itself. Didn't like how the balcony is shared with the neighbor. They could see into our room and we could see into theirs. The restaurant was a letdown. The food was only so-so, they seemed understaffed. The chairs were extremely torn up. We won't be going back.

Staff were friendly, however our room was not cleaned upon arrival. There were shoe prints on the chairs, and there was also garbage under the desk and smoke butts on our outdoor patio where it said “no smoking”. Attention to detail when cleaning definitely lacked, but the hotel in general was very clean. Delicious breakfast also!

Restaurant food quality is not what it was used to be, outdated small rooms need lots of upgrades, central AC system, tv common issue across hilton is that TVs go offline daily that HDMI cable needs to be unplugged then plugged back then it will work again, that was what we were told.

The hotel is very nice looking outside. The front dest staff was very friendly and helpful. Paid for a room with a view but most of my view was the restaurant. When we entered the rooms look nice but when you looked up the ceiling was full of cobwebs. The beds look new but they are not pillowtopped and very stiff. Pillows look fluffy but have no support. The fitness room and pool were excellent. Lastly there should be room info on where the fridge and microwave are so they are obvious.

The Bad Room: The shower faucet leaked and didn't have good pressure. The bed mattress was hard, like, people who sleep on the floor would have liked this mattress. Hotel: For almost $300 a night breakfast should certainly be included. The Good Service: Was impeccable. Our group wanted to use an area to gather in the bar section and even though they were short handed they made the effort to get someone to serve us in that section. In general the people genuinely wanted to make your stay great. The great attitude just made all the difference. Hotel: This was like being in two hotels at the same time. There was the part with old wood trim and souvenir store that reminded me of the Menger hotel in San Antonio, Tx and there was the newer section with the absolutely incredible workout area. They do have a pool but I did not go in the pool. I should also mention the incredibly gorgeous views. Just make sure you pick a room with a view.

It's a shame that the designers/executives decided to make the walls so thin in this hotel. The location is beautiful, the condition is wonderful, and the staff is the most amazing/hardest working I've ever seen. However, I could clearly hear the conversation of the people in the room next to us (until midnight and restarting at 6:30am). They weren't being loud, the walls are simply thin. It's a shame because everything else was quite phenomenal. I squarely blame the executive penny-pinchers for this glaring flaw. Maybe lining the walls with rockwool or foam might remedy the issue. Unless a change is made, we will not return.

Our stay was very nice! Hotel is beautiful. My only complaint was housekeeping. We never got towels replaced or our coffee replenished on day 2. I had to call down to the front desk and then it took over an hour to get new towels. There was no indication in our room or by the front desk when we checked in, that housekeeping was every 4 days. We were there for 2 nights.

What a nice place to stay in Port Huron. You are close to a fabulous restaurant, Lake Huron pier, and it has great abundant parking. The staff is exceptional. I am not sure of the front desk hostess that even upon check in , but she was top-notch! Check in and check out process was quick! Would highly recommend!

Come up here 2-3 times a year. Only 30 min from Clinton Twp. Love Freighters to eat. Right on the St. Clair River with awesome views of blue water bridge and freighters that go up and down the river!

Great location in Port Huron next to the St Clair River. Great views of freighters and pleasure boats traversing between Lake Huron and Lake St Clair (ask for a river-side room!). Adjacent to a very nice restaurant that also has river views. Lots to see in Port Huron too.

Great hotel! View of the bridge was cool - very close. Gift shop was loaded with amazing items. Freighters restaurant had delicious food along with nice views of the river and bridge. Interesting hotel with the nautical themes and designs. Also location was in the middle of all the things we wanted to see in Port Huron. Would go back again and would highly recommend.

Superb location next to the river and the Edison museum. Walking to downtown Port Huron is possible via the riverside walkway. The complimentary breakfast options were also very good.

Great location. Our room was nice with a water view and balcony. It was quiet and relaxing. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was nice but the fan didn't work, so the room got really steamy. The restaurant was pretty good. Only bad meal was breakfast one morning. Ordered over medium eggs with avocado toast. The eggs were slimy and the avocado was too thick on the toast. My husband and I couldn't eat it. The breakfast buffet was good. All of the other meals we had were good. The only drawback was my husband's walnut encrusted whitefish was very mushy. Fish and Chips were good. So was the salmon. We were really surprised there isn't a walking path down to the water. You have to walk through the grass and over railroad tracks.

The property was very good. The restaurant terrace overlooked the river and was very nice. Food was good too. I wish I could have gotten a room overlooking the river, but none were available.

The room was great with a comfortable bed. Staff was polite. Very nice area especially to walk at the river and go to the Thomas Edison museum. Only complaint was the breakfast buffet was $15 and a bit lacking since the juice and certain other items weren't refilled. I would stay there again but I wouldn't get the breakfast next time.

The hotel is beautiful and kept up well. Beds were comfortable. The size of the rooms were also larger than most hotel rooms. Nice to have a lounge onsite to relax and see the water. Going Back!

I love this hotel. It is such a beautiful spot and the rooms are awesome. Nice showers, a balcony or patio if you reserve it, a good breakfast and excellent bar/restaurant. The views are great and there are lots of places to walk in the area and learn about the history. The Blue Water Bridge is right behind the building looking at the river. The Thomas Edison Train car is nearby too. Of course, it’s a Double Tree so you get the added bonus of the cookies and they have allergy free ones now.
