The main issue was that the bedroom was incredibly hot and neither the aircon nor window could cool it. Couldn't sleep. The swimming pool is small and there is no steam room/sauna. Changing rooms were being renovated and not ideal. The quality of cocktails in the bar was awful in comparison to the high cost. Didn't get offered dessert after dinner in the bar but the staff were nice. The walk around the grounds could really do with signage.

The room was beautiful and a great size. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant though mine (beef brisket) was dry and overcooked. Allergies were really well accommodated though which was appreciated! The thermal suites, pool and gym are all well-equipped and very clean. I booked a 30 minute massage, the therapist was lovely and I enjoyed it but it was only 20 minutes of massage time because she was late bringing me from the waiting room and for the first few minutes there's a "consult" where they talk you through the form you fill out beforehand. This shouldn't be part of the treatment time. Breakfast was great, generous full Irish though I think that only one egg is a bit mean! Also instead of the usual fruits and yoghurt where you can help yourself there were very small plastic cups filled with fruit, overnight oats etc. It was annoying to not be able to pick the fruit and yoghurt I'd prefer, and most of the cups weren't gluten free as they contained granola and oats. Having plain yoghurt, fruit and granola so that people can help themselves would be better, and the little plastic cups must be terrible for the environment as they didn't seem to be reusable! Overall a lovely stay but would be great if the small things above could be improved! :)

Fabulous as always, only observation is a lot of the seats in the bar are ripped and very tiered looking need an upgrade as they are uncomfortable.

We were returning to the Heritage after getting engaged here 4 years ago. They upgraded us to a suite which was a lovely surprise and the room was fantastic. Our only issue we discovered with the hotel was the lobby and adjoining areas, including where we had afternoon tea and dinner were all a bit cold. My wife had to keep her coat on in all rooms of the hotel and though I don't normally feel the cold, had to keep a jumper on at all times. The pool area could do with a revival also, it doesn't match with the quality of the hotel and having to walk outside to reach it isn't ideal.

Impressive hotel. Check-in was easy and staff at reception very helpful. Bar food was excellent for lunch, very tasty. Evening meal in Blake’s Restaurant was nice but nothing special. Had an after dinner Calypso Coffee and it was served in an ordinary coffee mug which was odd. Lovely walking amenities around the grounds. Rooms really nice with lovely views and very clean.

Hotel is a bit dated but very clean. Staff were extremely friendly but they were very under staffed so service was let down by that. The big disappointment was the food. Very expensive for poor quality food. Definitely need to change the menu or bring the food to a higher standard

For the star rating of the hotel and the quality of the rooms the shower in the room was of a poor standard. The staff in the bar both in the evening and in the restaurant for breakfast were very disorganised. The bar was very untidy with a lot of empty glasses and plates around the tables, even though it did not seem busy.

Beautiful well kept hotel. We stayed in one of their suites overlooking the golf course. Partial view blockage from some high shrubs. Suite was very spacious and clean. Everything worked. Service all round was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the lack of a refrigerator and microwave in the room. There was a “cooler” which puzzled us as to what its purpose was, because it certainly neither cooled anything down or kept anything cool. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend it. We also played golf at the adjoining golf club. Again a wonderful experience, really well maintained course. My wife and I planned just one game, but couldn’t resist a second round the following morning. The course had a full range of challenges for every golfer. We rented clubs and the sets they gave us were spanking new and really high quality.

Mattress was a bit worn in places - could here and feel some of the springs. Also there is quote an annoying noise that comes from outside - which I guess might have been like an air con unit or something but the constant buzzing through the night was awful

Words cannot describe how beautiful this Hotel is. This is true luxury. My wife and I loved it. We booked a junior suite and the space was huge! We had an electric fireplace in the living room, a gorgeous balcony with a view to the beautiful green golf course, and heated towel racks. I mean the room even came with a Dyson hair dryer for my wife. If that's not luxury, then I don't know what is. The staff in the restaurants and reception were friendly and super helpful. The surrounding towns were cute and the scenery was breathtaking. Highly recommend the Heritage!

Rooms do not have air conditioning. Slept in 25c. Twin beds are the smallest I have evrler splept on. Tiger prawn pasta meal noodles were overcooked. Continental breakfast is average, eggs bedict was executed well.

The art was fabulous. The hotel is beautiful and elegant. The staff was very pleasant but seemed under-trained. Additionally, considering how upscale the facility was there were weird little things that were to the same level. For example, the sheets were coarse, some rooms had wash cloths and some didn’t (we had 3 rooms)..things like that. All in all, though, we had a great time.

Celebrated a big birthday here recently with 28 guests for dinner, and many of them stayed the night. Exceptional service, every member of staff was so cheerful and kind. So easy to deal with from start to finish. Fantastic food, beautiful surroundings. Definitely one of the best hotels in Ireland. Will be back. Keep up the good work!!

Lovely stay at the heritage and absolutely excellent service from all of the staff from reception to the restaurant to the cleaning staff. They were all attentive, friendly and couldn’t do any more for us, I haven’t had better service! The food in Blake’s restaurant was amazing! Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone!!

Great stay in a lovely very clean hotel. The staff were a little under pressure at dinner time in the bar with a full house so there was a bit of a wait on our main course, but we were on no rush. The food was delicious and staff were all very friendly. Only downfall was the loud grass cutting on the golf course at about 6am.

Hotel is a bit dated but very clean. Staff were extremely friendly but they were very under staffed so service was let down by that. The big disappointment was the food. Very expensive for poor quality food. Definitely need to change the menu or bring the food to a higher standard

For the star rating of the hotel and the quality of the rooms the shower in the room was of a poor standard. The staff in the bar both in the evening and in the restaurant for breakfast were very disorganised. The bar was very untidy with a lot of empty glasses and plates around the tables, even though it did not seem busy.

The place itself is beautiful but we found the level of service was terrible. We booked a junior suite for a night just after coming from 3 nights in another hotel in which we got married. We were disgusted we actually left the other hotel as comparing staff between both hotels was like chalk and cheese. Both tvs in our room had no channels working on them. We rang down to reception for a bucket with ice as we recevieved a nice bottle of Moet as a wedding present and wanted to have a glass to celebrate. They sent up a bucket with 4 ice cubes in it. We booked in for dinner and were sat at a high rocky table even though there were plenty of lower tables. We asked to move and waitress had to ask for permission to move us and said the rocky table was usually given to people not eating. We waited 20 mins for a drink which in the end was a can of west coast cooler unopened. We ordered food, and the wrong order came for myself. The wifes rice was cold in the middle which tells me it was microwaved and not for long enough. The fire alarm went off twice around 1am and we got 2 different reasons as to why. On checking out we complained about fire alarm and staff blamed a customer for smoking in a room even though night before we were told someone bumped against something in the kitchen. They then overcharged us on checking out by roughly €160 which eventually we got back after complaining and was promised a call back from a manager which never happened...

We came to Ireland on a business trip. Paid £1556 for two rooms for 3 nights. Food and bar bill was around £600 for 3 people. Price I don't have an issue with, however I do have an issue with how we were treated in the Seven bar by the person in charge on the Saturday evening and the waiting staff. we reserved a table for 3 for 19:30. Two people sat at a table for 4 next to us. They were there before us. We had starters and a main course and waited to be given the desert menu. Before that could happen the person in charge of the bar asked us to vacate the table for someone else. We said we had not finished. we were offered to sit on bar stools at the bar to finish our dinner. The two diners on the table next to us had finished their meal but were not asked to vacate their table. When I pay out around £2000 for a 3 night stay I expect better service than what I was given.

The property is lovely. The room was incredible. We were bumped up to a junior suite because they checked us in late. We didn't ask, they just did it. The staff are lovely, really genuinely friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the slightly regimented way you had to book a table in tne bar area for food. If you just wanted a drink you could only sit at the bar. Also, not a lot to do near the hotel if you don't golf or spa. But that's why people go here. We would be in the minority. All in all it was a lovely stay. Top marks.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this Hotel is. This is true luxury. My wife and I loved it. We booked a junior suite and the space was huge! We had an electric fireplace in the living room, a gorgeous balcony with a view to the beautiful green golf course, and heated towel racks. I mean the room even came with a Dyson hair dryer for my wife. If that's not luxury, then I don't know what is. The staff in the restaurants and reception were friendly and super helpful. The surrounding towns were cute and the scenery was breathtaking. Highly recommend the Heritage!

Beautiful well kept hotel. We stayed in one of their suites overlooking the golf course. Partial view blockage from some high shrubs. Suite was very spacious and clean. Everything worked. Service all round was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the lack of a refrigerator and microwave in the room. There was a “cooler” which puzzled us as to what its purpose was, because it certainly neither cooled anything down or kept anything cool. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend it. We also played golf at the adjoining golf club. Again a wonderful experience, really well maintained course. My wife and I planned just one game, but couldn’t resist a second round the following morning. The course had a full range of challenges for every golfer. We rented clubs and the sets they gave us were spanking new and really high quality.

The main issue was that the bedroom was incredibly hot and neither the aircon nor window could cool it. Couldn't sleep. The swimming pool is small and there is no steam room/sauna. Changing rooms were being renovated and not ideal. The quality of cocktails in the bar was awful in comparison to the high cost. Didn't get offered dessert after dinner in the bar but the staff were nice. The walk around the grounds could really do with signage.

The room was beautiful and a great size. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant though mine (beef brisket) was dry and overcooked. Allergies were really well accommodated though which was appreciated! The thermal suites, pool and gym are all well-equipped and very clean. I booked a 30 minute massage, the therapist was lovely and I enjoyed it but it was only 20 minutes of massage time because she was late bringing me from the waiting room and for the first few minutes there's a "consult" where they talk you through the form you fill out beforehand. This shouldn't be part of the treatment time. Breakfast was great, generous full Irish though I think that only one egg is a bit mean! Also instead of the usual fruits and yoghurt where you can help yourself there were very small plastic cups filled with fruit, overnight oats etc. It was annoying to not be able to pick the fruit and yoghurt I'd prefer, and most of the cups weren't gluten free as they contained granola and oats. Having plain yoghurt, fruit and granola so that people can help themselves would be better, and the little plastic cups must be terrible for the environment as they didn't seem to be reusable! Overall a lovely stay but would be great if the small things above could be improved! :)

Rooms do not have air conditioning. Slept in 25c. Twin beds are the smallest I have evrler splept on. Tiger prawn pasta meal noodles were overcooked. Continental breakfast is average, eggs bedict was executed well.

A most wonderful hotel from the cleanliness of all areas to the decor . Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and attentive. Soft towels were very welcome as was the very comfortable bed. The receptionists were the best I’ve come across on all my stays in Ireland and abroad . Full marks for a super hotel
