The staff at this hotel was very nice. We were arriving after 7pm and they left us a key in an envelope as the front desk closed earlier. The room was great - the bed and pillows very comfortable. Overall well worth it. Very short walk the Colosseum. Lots of public transportation. Close to the LGBT spots in Rome. Also check out the Voodoo Bar near by - great lounge/club for all.

Great location!! Great hospitality!! Very friendly.. They do have transportation from the airport for a small charge that we did not get to take advantage of. Would definitely stay again.

My friend and I visited Rome for the first time and wanted to stay at a place close to the colosseum without paying too much. This place is great - budget friendly in a decent neighborhood. Staff is amazing and very helpful. Only downside was that the free shuttle that was stated to be offered was not available so we had to pay for the taxi ride from the airport.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is cute and clean, although a little hard to find at first. Valeria could not have been any sweeter or more helpful. We loved her!! The rest of the staff was also very pleasant and helpful. We hope to be back! Grazie!

I thought I was booking a hotel, which was not the case. It is a "guest house" as described in their booking info. My error! This did cause an issue at checkin. About a week before checkin, I received an email asking what time we would arrive. I gave time of our arrival via train, and estimated we would arrive shortly after. I did not notice the statement, "you will receive an email with 48 hrs of checkin for checkin instructions". Never received the email so on arrival did not know how to access the building. We got in the building but could not enter the "hotel". We did not have local access to phone, so sent message via original notification to us. Someone showed up about 20 minutes later. All was good after that. Top Floor Colsseo is clean and very close to Coleseum, and Metro.

The staff here were amazing and so accommodating to all of our needs Valeria was awesome, so sweet and her English was excellent. Georgio, however, hardly speaks any English, but tries really hard to communicate (never a problem) and he helped with parking our car somewhere nearby for free. I would stay here any time again in the future and highly recommend it as a great central point that you can walk to all of the sights you want to visit in Rome.

Such a great location! Easy walk to the colosseum and palatine hill. Close to public transportation. Even though the hotel is on a busy road, it was very quiet. Valeria is AMAZING! She was so helpful with any questions we had. Communication with the property was excellent. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Rooms are small, but enough room for 2 people. I would highly recommend this property!

Clean room, and space in general. We checked in very late, since our flight landed at midnight, and they communicated in great detail with us to make sure we could still check into our room. The hotel is a short walk from the Colosseum. They also have great breakfast, the croissants were really good.

My room looked nothing like the pictures on google nor Expedia. The showers were the worst. They’re tiny and there was an issue with the water leaking out even if it’s closed. The bathroom was always wet and messy. There was one corner that had dust bunnies. Other than that the staff were very nice. You can hear noises from other rooms such as vacuums and loud conversations. Will not return

The area was safe, the room was small but very clean and comfortable. The ladies that worked at the counter were so kind and very friendly. The location is really good close to everything and close to the metro. Only drawback was there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room.

I had a LOVELY stay! Nice location, very calm and quiet area, yet very central. There is a supermarket and a cafe just down the street. Very close to Colosseum! When arriving, the friendly staff met us with great enthusiasm and he really took his time to give us the best suggestions regarding Rome. The host is also very nice and and helpful and it was easy keeping contact with her all the time. If we needed something, she fixed it! The room was very clean, the AC was both quiet and efficient, everything was just wonderful. Next time I’m going to Rome, this will be my first choice for sure!

The room is small but mighty. When in Rome you get up early and come back late. It was quiet. Could have used 2 pillows per person, but slept well regardless. Shout out to Valeria. She booked us a taxi back to airport for us with someone she trusted. Our first fell through. Bless her and her kindness, support and friendliness. FYI, the coliseum really was at the end of the safe street! Ciao until next time

Such a great location! Easy walk to the colosseum and palatine hill. Close to public transportation. Even though the hotel is on a busy road, it was very quiet. Valeria is AMAZING! She was so helpful with any questions we had. Communication with the property was excellent. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Rooms are small, but enough room for 2 people. I would highly recommend this property!

Valeria and staff were accommodating for our large family and a baby. We had a late evening arrival and had been communicating to ensure a smooth check-in. She was available to prepare us breakfast and give us recommendations around Rome. The location was perfect for touring the colosseum. We appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the guesthouse. Thank you and see you next year!

The staff here were amazing and so accommodating to all of our needs Valeria was awesome, so sweet and her English was excellent. Georgio, however, hardly speaks any English, but tries really hard to communicate (never a problem) and he helped with parking our car somewhere nearby for free. I would stay here any time again in the future and highly recommend it as a great central point that you can walk to all of the sights you want to visit in Rome.

The staff at this hotel was very nice. We were arriving after 7pm and they left us a key in an envelope as the front desk closed earlier. The room was great - the bed and pillows very comfortable. Overall well worth it. Very short walk the Colosseum. Lots of public transportation. Close to the LGBT spots in Rome. Also check out the Voodoo Bar near by - great lounge/club for all.

The room is small but mighty. When in Rome you get up early and come back late. It was quiet. Could have used 2 pillows per person, but slept well regardless. Shout out to Valeria. She booked us a taxi back to airport for us with someone she trusted. Our first fell through. Bless her and her kindness, support and friendliness. FYI, the coliseum really was at the end of the safe street! Ciao until next time

Lovely room. Really clean.Everything you need for a pleasant stay.Think I was upgraded as i’m sure breakfast wasn’t booked but continental breakfast options were offered and delivered to room at time requested 🙂. Located really close to Colosseum - couldn’t have chosen better. Reception was very welcoming- they took the time to recommend places to visit and where to eat. Superb, hope to stay again💕

Apesar da surpresa quando chegamos, pois não vimos direito e esperávamos um hotel, a acomodação foi excelente! A Valeria é super simpática, nos recebeu super bem... excelente apartamento, café da manhã muito gostoso e super "família", adoramos!!!

Clean room, and space in general. We checked in very late, since our flight landed at midnight, and they communicated in great detail with us to make sure we could still check into our room. The hotel is a short walk from the Colosseum. They also have great breakfast, the croissants were really good.

Everything about this hotel was great. Lovation is close to several restaurants and transport. There is also so close to the coliseum you can see it from the front door.

The location can not be better. Out the front door to the right is the Coloseum. Nice big bed with a foam mattress. Pillows were decent. This is week 4 of 5 for us and we have seen it all. The only challenges we had is that the room is small with no where to really unpack. No ledge in the bathroom for your travel kit. There was one small cupboard in our room for clothes, so we lived out of our suitcases. That is challenging. Staff were great. Helpful with direction. This is around a 12 minute walk from the metro line. We taxied from the train station to the hotel and were charged 45.00 euros. Its about one mile. Stupid us. It was raining. Metro back to the train station to travel to Florence 2.00 euro each.

Excellent stay at Top Floor Colosseo! We had a wonderful stay at Top Floor Colosseo. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. A special thank you to Valeria for her kindness and excellent attention during our stay, and to the entire staff for making us feel so welcome. The location is fantastic, especially being so close to the Colosseum. It was a pleasure staying here, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome! Milagro and Luis
