Nice boutique hotel. Situated at the end of the main road, quiet, clean and very spacious. We opted for the room with the firepit and enjoyed some drinks in front of the fire pit.

This Solvang property is a recently fully renovated little gem. Re-done in a Joanna Gaines farmhouse aesthetic, it has many clever and convenient updates that make the visit gracious and convenient. QR check in and checkout for early or late arrival/departures. Quaint effective lighting and several universal EV chargers in the parking areas. Mini split climate control in each room. Big TV and nice refreshment station plus drawer space in each room. Lots of mirrors, handicap friendly low berm shower pan with modern tiling. Fire pits, patios - and views toward the mountains rather than mother hotels and shops. We’ll stay here again. Highly recommended.

Very nice property, felt like an Airbnb. Didn’t see the staff due to the self check in and check out but everything seem pretty clean and organized. The EV charging price was pretty high at $.70 a kilowatt, but it was nice to have charging available if needed. We will love to stay here again next time we’re in Solvang. Thanks

It was newly renovated. Beautifully decorated. Spacious. Very quiet. We love the walkability to the Village restaurants and shops without the noise and crowds. Plenty of parking with easy access to your room. And we loved coming back to the room after a hard day of wine tasting to relax next to our private fire pit.

Great stay, very clean room. They have Tesla chargers in the parking lot, which is a nice bonus. The cleaning staff were very friendly. Easy walk to everything. We had a room facing the road, which does have a decent amount of traffic during the day. A little noise but no big deal for us, but if you are sensitive to that kind of thing…

1. There was hair all over the floor. 2. The AC in the window doesn’t on during the night and it’s gets really hot and stuffy in the room 3. There was dust on the bedsheet since someone left the window open.

Our room was clean and fairly updated, so carpet and rug really stood out - they were very worn and really dirty! The configuration of the room is like a little house- it's very charming. We also really like the location - it's on the edge of Solvang, so it's a little more quiet, yet still close enough to all of the restaurants and shops. The mattress probably needed to be changed. On one hand, it was comfortable in a way- not too firm and not too soft. However, it sunk in some in the middle, so your hips dipped below your head and feet. The pillows were very puffy, so I had a definite headache/neck ache upon rising. It was uncomfortable for my husband, so he tried the futon. Well nice looking as a couch, it was very hard and uncomfortable as a bed. So, in a nutshell - clean, quiet, cute, good parking, easy check in, good location, dirty carpets, uncomfortable beds/pillows.

This hotel looks so cute from the outside. When we got into our room, it was small, but nice looking. We pulled back the covers and found a couple of hairs on the sheet. Then we started to see some kind of fleas. I killed four of them and I went straight to the front desk and told the desk clerk that there were some kind of fleas in the room and we needed to be moved. The first thing she said was “that’s a pretty aggressive thing to say“. Then, instead of moving us to a new room while we were standing in the room she started pulling the covers back and telling us she couldn’t find any of the books. I had to show her the napkin where I had squished four of them. She then moved us finally to another room and I really thought we would be fine there, except I woke up the next morning with six red welts on my neck, stomach and back. It took a week and they still have not completely disappeared.

Very cozy room! We had 5 people and the room had a loft plus the downstairs with bathrooms on both floors. This made the accommodations more comfortable and roomy. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding. We will definitely be staying at the New Haven Inn on our next Solvang trip.

The AC/Heating unit was not working properly. When set at 66 it went up to 73 and stayed that way for hours. I tried to go to cool set at 64 and it still continued to heat up to 70. This kept us from two good nights sleep.

Overall, this is a great value and choice. HOWEVER- the air conditioning was annoying as heck. So very loud and maybe 2 feet from the bed. Did I mention noisy? All night long.

I had a bit of a mixed experience during my stay. The bed was unfortunately way too soft for me, which led to some back pain the next morning. I also noticed the synthetic sheets created static sparks in the dark! Another small downside was the lack of storage—there wasn't a closet or even hangers for my clothes. Plus, since the room was near a main road, the traffic noise was pretty noticeable. It’s a decent spot, but these few things made it a little hard to get a good night's rest.

I had a wonderful experience at the New Haven Inn, it was clean and up-to-date. It was an easy check in and check out, all done on my phone. If I was ever in that area again, I would definitely rebook with them.

The room was nice! The check in process, outside on an iPad was very tacky. Like self check out at the market! The screen froze up and to find a human to check me in. That took about 60 seconds. My biggest complaint was the landscaping crew with a loud gas power leaf blower blowing off our patio at 8:00 in the morning. They then blew dirt and debris all over our newly washed car. I had to get to blow off the car, but the damage done. I could have gone to the office, but no one is there until 3:00 pm. Needless to say I won’t be staying there again.

Air conditioner didn’t work. Had to open windows onto a busy loud street. My concerns went unaddressed by staff members and they basically argued with me and blamed me for the AC not working. No one to contact in the night about concerns because they don’t staff overnight. Stiff bed and bad pillows - I ended up straining my neck. I was there with my mom and two sisters who were visiting from the east coast and our next day was ruined due to lack of sleep from our stay at new haven.

This is a lovely place to stay, modern, comfortable and convenient. However, the young man who checked us in was unprofessional, unfriendly and robotic: never making eye contact with us, answering our questions in an unwelcoming, robotic, patronizing manner such that I wondered if he was all right?! It was an unpleasant way to arrive and an awful first impression - happily the accommodations were delightful. Thank you.

It was nice very convenient close to all the downtown activities. Check in took us longer, because the first code provided didn’t work with our assigned room.

This is a cute property and it is relatively close to the downtown core of Solvang (within walking distance but it is a bit of a walk). The room was well appointed and services (fridge, microwave, coffee, etc.) were complete. Self check-in and check-out was a breeze (all done through text message) and when we had an issue of a left-behind belonging, staff were available and responsive by phone. It is an older property. As such, there are a few things that prevent a five-star review: a toilet that flushes but with limited flow so we were cautious there and a closet door that didn't shut. But all in all, they've done a great job to keep it as updated, clean and cute as possible.

Parking was easy, somewhat of a small area but not terrible to access. The check in was simple and it was a close walk to everything in town. I would stay here again.

It was a wonderful location. Great views of the nearby hills and golf course. Walking distance (5-7 minutes) from everything. My wife and I were celebrating our 19th anniversary, and we liked that the location was not in the downtown area but a little outside all the hustle and bustle (quieter). It felt more private and ideal for a romantic getaway. Vey family friendly and professional service. The only thing was the parking space was small but it was free so that was just a little observation not necessarily a bad thing.

Great stay, very clean room. They have Tesla chargers in the parking lot, which is a nice bonus. The cleaning staff were very friendly. Easy walk to everything. We had a room facing the road, which does have a decent amount of traffic during the day. A little noise but no big deal for us, but if you are sensitive to that kind of thing…

It was a great! It is a very small Inn with not very many rooms which to me is a plus. It was quite but still within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in Solvang.

This was such a unique property. Our room had a small porch with fire pit. Inside was a very comfortable king sized bed, full kitchen and very roomy, clean bathroom. We were able to park right by our door. Easy, short walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. If we are ever traveling to Solvang again, we will book this same hotel.

I have stayed in different rooms here And this one was My least favorite. The bathroom does not have an area to put all items needed and no vanity. Also I had to call to get an iron and ironing board since there was none in the room. First time encountering that. I also was not able to open the link on email sent for check in but when I called they helped me and check in went smoothly after that. I believe I spoke to Mike or Michael? Thank you
