Kyo-machiya Stay WAKA Fushimiinari

숙박시설은 정말 좋아요 영화나 드라마에 나오는 부잣집 느낌입니다 근데 호스트님과 연락이 안되서...다행히 열쇠가 있어 들어가긴 했구요 체크 아웃 10분 남은 시간에 아무 연락도 없이 문을 따고 들어오셔서 좀 놀랐네요 후시미 이나리 신사와의 거리는 진짜 예술입니다 좋은 경험이었습니다

This place is amazing! I stayed here with 4 other people and it was perfect. There is plenty of room for more people but since there is only one shower you’ll need to make a schedule for bathing if you are bringing a larger group. Check in was a little confusing. I was told the keys were left in the mailbox ahead of time but the sign on the door asked us to contact the property before we entered. When I contacted them all they said was the keys are in the mailbox. I assume it was a google translate problem with the sign. Other than that the process was smooth. Just a heads up they will enter the property every 2 days to take out the trash and make the beds. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the JR station and a 7 minute walk from the metro. It’s very convenient but both will be busy during the day so plan to taxi with your luggage when checking in or out. The area is very quiet after about 5-6pm and very enjoyable to walk around when all of the tourists leave

友達６人で泊まったが最高だった また泊まりたい

We were excited to stay at such a beautiful home, but became increasingly disappointed as we found one thing after another missing or broken. The bathroom sink faucet wouldn't run. Neither tub was usable. The sauna light was burned out. The pillows with the futons didn't have pillow cases. The communication for the check-in procedure was contradictory, causing us to wait outside the gate for 20 minutes for someone who never showed up. And 30 minutes before we were supposed to check out, two strangers appeared at the front door unannounced (while my wife was changing) and loitered there without even knocking, making us wonder if we were about to be home-invaded. At least the place has these cool toilets that salute you when you open the bathroom door.
