Charming. I appreciated the efficiency at check-in. And the accommodations. In the abundance of service breakfast and access to the kitchen. Very pleased with that parking lot that allowed us not to have to park on the street.

Very welcoming guesthouse in a traditional style with beautiful stained glass windows and spacious common areas. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Delightful host and great self-serve breakfast. Very convenient location in this SE part of Portland

What a gem! The Evermore is located a block from all of the wonderful restaurants and shops on Division. There's free off-street parking. The building itself is gorgeous, built in the early 1900s with absolutely stunning details like the stained glass windows. Our room was large and comfortable. Even though it faced a main street, there was very little noise. We also appreciated the snacks available throughout the day (granola bars, nut packs, fresh fruit) and the wonderful continental breakfast spread in the morning. I got a text when my room was ready (several hours prior to check in) with the door code and other instructions. We did not see any of the staff at any point, which we didn't mind at all, though some people might want more contact. Overall, this is a wonderful alternative to an Airbnb or a hotel. I would definitely return.

Likes: near restaurants, self serve breakfast, cozy room. Dislikes: traffic noise, I was placed on the 3rd floor and was way too many stairs for me to navigate, no tv, beds need mattress topper for comfort, too heavy of a duvet for summer sleeping, mirrors are hung way to high for a 5\'3" person.

Loved our stay here. It's a beautiful property with comfortable rooms. Breakfast is self-served, and the kitchen is well stocked with pastries, cereals, coffee, tea, juices and yogurt. The common breakfast and sitting areas make it likely you'll meet some interesting fellow guests. Staff shows up daily for cleaning, but there is no desk or regular staff: you let yourself in with a lock code, clean up your own breakfast dishes, and can grab some extra bedding from the hall closet if needed. FYI for travelers with disabilities: this historic house is not accessible, and requires walking and carrying your luggage up and down stairs. Bottom line: this is one of the best places I've stayed in Portland, and will happily return when the opportunity arises.

I was looking for a nice place to stay near my daughter in the Hawthorne neighborhood, and Evermore Guesthouse turned out to be the perfect spot. The location made it easy to come and go, my room was peaceful and quiet, and I especially appreciated the 24-hour kitchen stocked with bagels, pastries, cereals, granola bars, hard-boiled eggs, tea, coffee, juice and more. I’ll definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

There were so many nice touches and amenities! It was a great feature for us to be able to put a breakfast together with what was in the kitchen. My only negative is our bed did not have a top sheet.

Spacious, pristine interior, thoughtful room design and amenities. It’s in a quiet area, but easily walkable to a bustling neighborhood and mass transit. Stay includes laundry. It was an extremely comfortable place to rest and be. *highly recommend*

Rated staff and services a 3 simply because no staff around, though room was clean and comfy. They say the have @ breakfast, just be aware it’s really just things you can pull from their fridge- which is ok, but don’t expect a full breakfast. Good location

The house is gorgeous and so cozy. Our suite was amazing and exceptionally clean. Erika, the housekeeper, was super friendly and we had a nice time chatting with her. The breakfast was available any time as it was self serve. That was very convenient and made the mornings feel relaxed and not rushed. Also, snacks were available all the time.

Evermore is an impeccably restored 1909 house relatively close to the Hawthorne district in southeast Portland. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully appointed, and the bathroom is perfect. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast and snacks are available 24/7, with yogurt, breads, juice, coffee, and hard boiled eggs. There is a stove if you should wish to cook something of your own. Owners were easy to work with and we never had any problem whatsoever getting in through the combination lock or accessing our room. Highly recommend this for a very nice Portland getaway.

What a spectacular house! My room on the 3rd floor was big, and it was connected to a private balcony accessed through french doors. The woodwork and stained glass in the house was gorgeous. I was sad to leave

We really enjoyed our stay at Evermore. We met some very interesting guests. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Evermore is in a very interesting neighborhood with lots of restaurants and things to do. Lots of space for parking-we would walk the neighborhood and felt safe. Highly recommend this place!

The building itself is gorgeous, built in the early 1900s with absolutely stunning details like the stained glass windows. Our room was large and comfortable. Even though it faced a main street, there was very little noise. We also appreciated the snacks available throughout the day (granola bars, nut packs, fresh fruit) and the wonderful continental breakfast spread in the morning. I got a text when my room was ready (several hours prior to check in) with the door code and other instructions. We did not see any of the staff at any point, which we didn't mind at all, though some people might want more contact. Overall, this is a wonderful alternative to an Airbnb or a hotel. I would definitely return.

We really enjoyed the customer service. I received phone calls asking if there was anything extra I needed and if I had any accommodations that needed to be met. On the morning I was to arrive I received a text message letting me know that my room was ready and all the information I needed to get into the Inn. Comfortable beds and the A/C was a huge plus, especially with the hot day. We just loved the whole vibe of the place. Our only regret was that we didnt get a chance to stay longer

Loved our stay here. It's a beautiful property with comfortable rooms. Breakfast is self-served, and the kitchen is well stocked with pastries, cereals, coffee, tea, juices and yogurt. The common breakfast and sitting areas make it likely you'll meet some interesting fellow guests. Staff shows up daily for cleaning, but there is no desk or regular staff: you let yourself in with a lock code, clean up your own breakfast dishes, and can grab some extra bedding from the hall closet if needed. FYI for travelers with disabilities: this historic house is not accessible, and requires walking and carrying your luggage up and down stairs. Bottom line: this is one of the best places I've stayed in Portland, and will happily return when the opportunity arises.

Evermore is an impeccably restored 1909 house relatively close to the Hawthorne district in southeast Portland. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully appointed, and the bathroom is perfect. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast and snacks are available 24/7, with yogurt, breads, juice, coffee, and hard boiled eggs. There is a stove if you should wish to cook something of your own. Owners were easy to work with and we never had any problem whatsoever getting in through the combination lock or accessing our room. Highly recommend this for a very nice Portland getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evermore. We met some very interesting guests. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Evermore is in a very interesting neighborhood with lots of restaurants and things to do. Lots of space for parking-we would walk the neighborhood and felt safe. Highly recommend this place!

Incredibly charming! Loved staying here - felt very at home. It's nice and quiet but in walking distance of plenty. Loved how easy check-in/check-out was. Look forward to staying here again!

Best feature is location in the Divide/Clinton neighbourhood of SE Portland, with its many restaurants and shops, heritage houses and bike route. Worst feature is the high traffic street on its East side, which is noisy.

I was looking for a nice place to stay near my daughter in the Hawthorne neighborhood, and Evermore Guesthouse turned out to be the perfect spot. The location made it easy to come and go, my room was peaceful and quiet, and I especially appreciated the 24-hour kitchen stocked with bagels, pastries, cereals, granola bars, hard-boiled eggs, tea, coffee, juice and more. I’ll definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It was just a place to sleep before I flew out. I got in late and everything was set up for me. Breakfast was continental, with cereal, toast and hard-boiled eggs. Perfect for vacationers.

The house is gorgeous and so cozy. Our suite was amazing and exceptionally clean. Erika, the housekeeper, was super friendly and we had a nice time chatting with her. The breakfast was available any time as it was self serve. That was very convenient and made the mornings feel relaxed and not rushed. Also, snacks were available all the time.

The building is an early Portland mansion that’s been maintained well and upgraded to some extent, keeping the charm of the era in which it was built but meeting the standards of today. Our king room with an en suite was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a do-it-yourself affair with many simple choices, including fruit, yogurt, fresh pastries, and cereals. It was a welcome surprise to enter through the front door and find almost absolute quiet inside, because the corner property is on a very busy thoroughfare. We highly recommend this place for a Portland stay.

Truly a home away from home. The well-stocked kitchen (fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc.) is open 24/7 to guests. Just as at home, you're the dish washer. :-) The hotel, built in 1909 as a home, is elegant, the beautiful woodwork and staircases preserved, fresh flowers in vases throughout the downstairs living and dining areas. The dial telephone even works! There's a shady parking lot next to the hotel. If stairs are an issue, note that there's no elevator. We plan to stay there every time we visit family in Portland!
