Arrived early, but Federico and Maria managed to have room ready. Handy there is a bar/cafe at the front door so able to eat whilst waiting. Room has everything needed and Maria is on hand to help with Taxis etc. Trastevere has hundreds of places to eat, Hanky Suite is within 10 mins walk of all of them. A pleasant walk into the centre of Rome takes 30-40 mins. Even from the Colluseum you can walk back in under an hour enjoying the shops and bars. Great room, great hosts and in a great location without the bustle of Rome itself.

Host was very helpful at check in, flexible with our arrival and check out times. Federico was available to answer our questions and order transport for us to return to the airport even when our flight was delayed. The property has an elevator which makes taking your luggage upstairs effortless. This suite sits among friendly locals with a very popular gelato place just outside the building entrance. The restaurant “Black Tulip” was very busy with locals, which is always a good sign. Would recommend taking ataxi from airport to this location. We took the train and tram, but with our luggage, taxi would have been much better.

Great location! Everything was clean. Staff was very nice and responsive. The AC was strong enough to handle the heatwave. There seemed to have only been a few rooms in this suite, so it felt private. Make sure to respond to any message they send you beforehand because they need to know your arrival time in order to properly check you in. We will stay here again next time in Rome!

This is a gem of a place in a very good area. The host Frederick was amazing. He met us downstairs and assisted us with the luggage. There is a working elevator so that was a positive for seniors like us. Apartment was clean. I would go back again.

Eu adorei a suíte, a equipe de limpeza prestou um excelente serviço. As instalações estavam sempre limpas e bem arrumadas. O Federico sempre muito atencioso e sempre disposto a ajudar. A suíte fica muito bem localizada em Trastevere, próximo a excelentes restaurantes e com fácil acesso para tudo.
Eu adorei a suíte, a equipe de limpeza prestou um excelente serviço. As instalações estavam sempre limpas e bem arrumadas. O Federico sempre muito atencioso e sempre disposto a ajudar. A suíte fica muito bem localizada em Trastevere, próximo a excelentes restaurantes e com fácil acesso para tudo.

A acomodação está em um lugar ótimo de Trastevere, silencioso para descansar, foi perfeito pois chegávamos cansados do longo dia andando por Roma e tínhamos ótimos restaurantes por perto. Atendimento excelente da Maria que nos recebeu. Limpeza impecável todos os dias, quarto confortável. Ha pontos de ônibus bem próximos para se deslocar nos pontos turísticos. Recomendo!

We're upset that the air conditioning didn't work. It made for a pretty uncomfortable night and knowing it was supposed to be hot in Rome air conditioning was one of the most important features for us when we booked this room. Is there anything that can be done about this? There's no one at the front desk and we didn't feel comfortable calling our contact at the hotel at 2 in the morning. The space was nice and the host was nice when we met him at check in.

Hanky Suite was a nice, clean apartment im Trastevere. It was a tad confusing to find at first and once you go into the apartment complex you will need to go up 2 floors to suite 13. Our host, Maria was exceptional. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We did have some issues with the air conditioning but I will say both Maria and Fredrrco went above and beyond to try to rectify. Trastevere is about a 15 minute walk to Rome and public transport such as buses and trams are easily accessible. There were many restaurants to choose from in close proximity.

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Hanky suite. Fijne kamer met airconditioning. De locatie was top, restaurants op loopafstand in een gezellig gebied. Wij hebben ook overdag bijna alles gewandeld. Wij zijn heel erg tevreden!

Perfect stay with exceptional personal service We had an amazing stay at the Hanky Suite, mainly thanks to Maria! From the very beginning, she took great care of us and was always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. A special highlight was the lovely surprise she prepared for us on New Year’s Eve – such a thoughtful gesture! Maria always had plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations and was a huge help in planning our stay. Her kindness and dedication made our vacation even more special. Absolutely recommendable! We’d love to come back!
Perfect stay with exceptional personal service We had an amazing stay at the Hanky Suite, mainly thanks to Maria! From the very beginning, she took great care of us and was always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. A special highlight was the lovely surprise she prepared for us on New Year’s Eve – such a thoughtful gesture! Maria always had plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations and was a huge help in planning our stay. Her kindness and dedication made our vacation even more special. Absolutely recommendable! Maria was so very kind. She let us check in early and tried to help us when Italy had a train strike. She tried to get us a different ticket but we couldn’t. She was great.

This is a gem of a place in a very good area. The host Frederick was amazing. He met us downstairs and assisted us with the luggage. There is a working elevator so that was a positive for seniors like us. Apartment was clean. I would go back again.

Arrived early, but Federico and Maria managed to have room ready. Handy there is a bar/cafe at the front door so able to eat whilst waiting. Room has everything needed and Maria is on hand to help with Taxis etc. Trastevere has hundreds of places to eat, Hanky Suite is within 10 mins walk of all of them. A pleasant walk into the centre of Rome takes 30-40 mins. Even from the Colluseum you can walk back in under an hour enjoying the shops and bars. Great room, great hosts and in a great location without the bustle of Rome itself.

I liked staying here for the comfy bed, the price, and the location. The hotel itself is a ghost hotel with staff only from about 11 am to 2 pm in a residential building outside of the scenic part of Trastevere. I still liked that it had restaurants and shops at street level and was about a five-minute walk from Trastevere proper and about 25 minutes from iconic Roman landmarks in Piazza Navona. I took a city bus to get from Termini station to the bus stop about five minutes walk away. I lived it!

Hanky Suite was a nice, clean apartment im Trastevere. It was a tad confusing to find at first and once you go into the apartment complex you will need to go up 2 floors to suite 13. Our host, Maria was exceptional. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We did have some issues with the air conditioning but I will say both Maria and Fredrrco went above and beyond to try to rectify. Trastevere is about a 15 minute walk to Rome and public transport such as buses and trams are easily accessible. There were many restaurants to choose from in close proximity.

Nossa hospedagem foi perfeita! A acomodação está em um lugar ótimo de Trastevere, silencioso para descansar, foi perfeito pois chegávamos cansados do longo dia andando por Roma e tínhamos ótimos restaurantes por perto. Atendimento excelente da Maria que nos recebeu. Limpeza impecável todos os dias, quarto confortável. Ha pontos de ônibus bem próximos para se deslocar nos pontos turísticos. Recomendo!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Hanky suite. Fijne kamer met airconditioning. De locatie was top, restaurants op loopafstand in een gezellig gebied. Wij hebben ook overdag bijna alles gewandeld. Wij zijn heel erg tevreden!

The room is in an adorable little apartment. Private and secure entrance, everything was spotless and there were thoughtful little details everywhere. But the sparkling gem of the property is Maria. She would get 100 stars if I could give them. She meets you and shows you to your room, gives you authentic restaurant recommendations (not the overly touristy kind), travel tips, and even arranged a van for us to take to the airport. I have never had hospitality like hers at any other property I’ve ever stayed at. Thank you Maria

Great little hotel just a few blocks from the busiest part of Trastevere. Quiet and quaint There are some stairs involved, even with the elevator. Great staff. Very clean rooms, well equipped. They even had a good clothes steamer!! Great restaurant right beside, Rione 13.

Like many places to stay in Rome this is in a larger building and almost looks like an apartment within a building. I can’t think of a place I’ve stayed that I loved more. The location is WONDERFUL if you want to be able to walk around Trastavere. I was able to drop off my bags early so I could catch a tour, and they even called a cab for us to go to the airport. The room was decorated beautifully, was spotless, and had every amenity necessary (hair dryer, steamer, kettle, tea bags, mini fridge) and was very modern. This was a one night stay at the end of our trip to Italy and it was the best sleep I had the entire time. I would stay here again, without a doubt.
