Anusara was our first hotel/villa in Bali and it was so luxurious and comfortable, as well as quiet. The pool was perfect, as were the 2 showers and huge bath tub. The bed was super comfortable, as was the outdoor pool bed. The massages we got were among the best in our entire 3 week trip to Indonesia. The free breakfast was delicious (get the watermelon juice). The floating breakfast was awesome! The staff was all so kind and genuine. It was just far enough from the center of town, but a close cab ride. If we ever make the 30 hour flight to Bali again, we’d stay here again!

Clean room, super friendly, nice and sweet staff, would accommodate my request ie: order massage at second request. The pool and outdoor area is clean and perfect to lay and relax. The outdoor tub is so pretty. The breakfast floating basket was awesome!!

Great place to escape from the bustling city. Good food. Excellent service, everyone do their best to be helpful. The massage by the private pool was the best massage I ever had! Booked a candlelight romantic dinner for our honeymoon and it was lovely!

We spent 12 days here and enjoyed every minute. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. They take the time to get to know you. Their shuttle to Ubud center was a nice amenity. The area is quiet and serene. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Ubud center. The private pool for each villa was lovely. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We made Anusara our home base and would do day trips to see the rest of Bali. We can’t wait to book another trip to Bali to explore more and stay at Anusara again during another trip.

What a great place. Away from the center of Ubud (Shuttle available) means it is quiet and tranquil. The Cilla we had (upgraded to 2 Bedroom President Villa) was spacious, well equipped and clean. Nice private pool. We had the floating lunch and the poolside candlelit dinner, and the food was delicious. Would definitely revisit

Staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and had great choices and everything was freshly cooked. We used the shuttle into ubud most days and the driver was always friendly and on time. The villa was incredible with the biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever seen

The villa was secure and private, and the staff were attentive and professional. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and received a refreshing welcome drink! The free shuttle into Ubud central was great. The villa itself was clean and airy, with air conditioning. The pool and cabana were superb - the water was the perfect temperature to be refreshing. Our tip to enjoying the pool area in comfort is to pack insect repellent. There is construction noise from next door during the day, but it didn’t bother us. We would happily go back and will recommend Anusara to our friends and family.

Great location and beautiful resort with excellent breakfast. The location was quiet and peaceful and close to town without being in the hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing. The shuttle service was convenient to get to town, but the times were limited and drop off location firmly fixed (our driver wouldn’t drop us off to a place that was on the way to the drop off location and we were the only ones in the car) so we ended up having to use Grab a lot.

Pros- Very beautiful property-staff could not have been any more welcoming and kind. Villa was very nice looking with lots of room. Loved the private pool area. Very good breakfast- did have dinner once on property and it was great. Very quiet place to stay. Barely saw any of the other guests. Cons- 20-25 mins drive from anything Pool was dirty- did not even swim in it :/ very cold water. Sheets were not the cleanest. They turn off pool waterfall at 6pm- we didn't get back to villa sometimes so did not get to enjoy it much.

We had an exceptional time. The rooms were extremely clean, continuously, filling a mini bar and all of the. Toiletries, fresh towels, daily exceptional staff, and we had the best driver Agung if you’re coming to Bali, definitely stay at the villas and request a driver. You will have an exception on an amazing time in Bali.

I liked the villa, however it was not clean, the slide doors had too much of a gap between allowing bugs and lizards in. The food was not good.

Staff was always super helpful and friendly, really elevated our stay. Villa was beautiful, we had the honeymoon villa. However the view was not overlooking the jungle like in the pictures at hotels.com but that was okay. There were a few things I found odd: - At check in we were explained that we would be charged for any damages in the room. For instance if there were any stains they could not remove. We of course understand this, but the odd thing is our bed already had some stains when checking in. Chose to ignore this as it wasn’t a big issue/ - Ants, bugs and lizards came through the gap of the door from the pool. This was in the middle of the jungle so we had many visits. Mentioned this at checkout. - The bedside lamps had mould in them. - We weren’t allowed to order outside food because they wanted us to support their hotel. I wish they had a wider variety on the menu at least when this was the case. At checkout we were asked to give a written feedback while the staff were overlooking and reviewing what we wrote. For me this was uncomfortable and I felt I couldn’t give my honest feedback while being put on the spot. Overall it was a nice room and very warm and welcoming staff. Hope you see this feedback for what it’s meant for - constructive and to help you improve.

Beautiful location and property! We loved our villa which was clean and everything worked well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are always asking if we had any issues with the room but we never did! The food cooked there is delicious and the driver they have on staff is really great! Highly recommend this place!

I stayed in the honeymoon suite (suite 6). The AC blew warm air and the temp could not be adjusted up or down on the remote while the other buttons worked fine on the remote so it wasn’t a battery issue. The property itself is surrounded by trees and rice paddies. Nowhere to walk to in terms of eating or entertainment. You’ll need a car or transportation to go anywhere and it’s a bit out of the way so give lots of extra time given Ubud’s traffic. The breakfast was very nice and staff is friendly. The property itself is surrounded by trees and rice paddies. Nowhere to walk to in terms of eating or entertainment. You’ll need a car or transportation to go anywhere and it’s a bit out of the way so give lots of extra time given Ubud’s traffic. The breakfast was very nice and staff is friendly. What a great place. Away from the center of Ubud (Shuttle available) means it is quiet and tranquil. The Cilla we had (upgraded to 2 Bedroom President Villa) was spacious, well equipped and clean. Nice private pool. We had the floating lunch and the poolside candlelit dinner, and the food was delicious. Would definitely revisit

Be careful when booking this property as not all the rooms have a view as we expected , we had room 3 and we thought we would look over the rice paddies but that view has now been replaced by a high wall and villas being built right next door , very disappointing , otherwise it was a great place , but it is 15 minutes north of ubud

Over exceeded our expectations! The place is quiet, up in the heart of Ubud. Forest area, outdoor restroom is magical so refreshing, the most comfortable beds and pillows! The staff very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend and plan to come back.

The villa was secure and private, and the staff were attentive and professional. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and received a refreshing welcome drink! The free shuttle into Ubud central was great. The villa itself was clean and airy, with air conditioning. The pool and cabana were superb - the water was the perfect temperature to be refreshing. Our tip to enjoying the pool area in comfort is to pack insect repellent. There is construction noise from next door during the day, but it didn’t bother us. We would happily go back and will recommend Anusara to our friends and family.

Anusara is a piece of heaven in the jungle. Our room was incredible with gorgeous pool and amazing bathrooms. Perfect place to relax after the fun chaos of Ubud and its busy vibe. The staff are incredible nothing too much they really care about making you happy and always greet you with a smile after a day exploring their beautiful island. Staff was always super helpful and friendly, really elevated our stay. Villa was beautiful, we had the honeymoon villa. However the view was not overlooking the jungle like in the pictures at hotels.com but that was okay. There were a few things I found odd: - At check in we were explained that we would be charged for any damages in the room. For instance if there were any stains they could not remove. We of course understand this, but the odd thing is our bed already had some stains when checking in. Chose to ignore this as it wasn’t a big issue/ - Ants, bugs and lizards came through the gap of the door from the pool. This was in the middle of the jungle so we had many visits. Mentioned this at checkout. - The bedside lamps had mould in them. - We weren’t allowed to order outside food because they wanted us to support their hotel. I wish they had a wider variety on the menu at least when this was the case. At checkout we were asked to give a written feedback while the staff were overlooking and reviewing what we wrote. For me this was uncomfortable and I felt I couldn’t give my honest feedback while being put on the spot. Overall it was a nice room and very warm and welcoming staff. Lets start with The staff…amazing…We’ve travelled throughout the world. I wish I could give 10 🌠 The absolute most genuine friendly people are the Balinese. This hotel has gathered some of the finest of the island. The management is on top of every need or concern if any. We fell in love with their warmth. Impeccable service. Now for the room and hotel…as soon as you get there they place a wonderful glass of goodness into your hands with a welcoming smile. Fresh cool blended lime mint juice stimulates your senses as you get checked in with efficiency. They upgraded our room without asking…Whatt!!😍…when does that happen. The walkway pictured greets you and as you enter the villa you smell the soft fragrance of flowers. The room was spotless and smelled amazing which sometimes is difficult to maintain in the tropics. They perfected it. The area has some walkable restaurants or just eat there as they have gourmet chefs delivering tasty cuisine..You get to walk through rice terraced paths to adventure if you choose. We stayed for three days and ate at the restaurant every day and were never disappointed. Australian tenderloin or fresh fish. Vegetarian delights or Indonesian dishes they have a great menu. What a fantastic stay at Anusara! From the start, we’re picked up by Agung who was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area. He drove us around Bali for the day seeing the temples, rice fields, fields, monkey forest and Swing Heaven. The staff at the villas was gracious, friendly, and always welcoming and assisting. Our villa was the honeymoon villa #6 and could not have asked for a better location for quiet and serenity. I look forward to staying again at this enchanting location.

We spent 12 days here and enjoyed every minute. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. They take the time to get to know you. Their shuttle to Ubud center was a nice amenity. The area is quiet and serene. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Ubud center. The private pool for each villa was lovely. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We made Anusara our home base and would do day trips to see the rest of Bali. We can’t wait to book another trip to Bali to explore more and stay at Anusara again during another trip.
We spent 12 days here and enjoyed every minute. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. They take the time to get to know you. Their shuttle to Ubud center was a nice amenity. We stayed in the 2-bedroom Presidential Villa. The Villa did not disappoint. The staff was the best. They went way beyond what was expected to make sure we had everything that we needed and more. They were genuinely happy that we were there and it showed. They treated us like family and royalty (all of them). The food was delicious. On site chef did a marvelous job! Thank you so much to everyone there!

Great location and beautiful resort with excellent breakfast. The location was quiet and peaceful and close to town without being in the hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing. The shuttle service was convenient to get to town, but the times were limited and drop off location firmly fixed (our driver wouldn’t drop us off to a place that was on the way to the drop off location and we were the only ones in the car) so we ended up having to use Grab a lot.

My wife and I spent the first week of our honeymoon in Bali at the Anusara and had the most amazing experience. From the minute we arrived, we felt a tremendous sense of community at the resort and were treated like family by all the amazing staff. Rika, Wayan, Dewa, Gusti and the rest of the staff were so amazing to get to know during our stay, and provided amazing insight into Balinese culture; they truly made our stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing Balinese experience, then the Anusara is right for you. The villas are nestled within a rice paddy and back onto an amazing jungle setting. There are 8 villas total, but each comes with an amazing private pool, outdoor shower /tub and beautiful rooms. With the proximity to Ubud Centre from the resort, its the perfect blend of sereneness and the action of Ubud. The resort / villas themselves are a short drive from Ubud Centre (about 10-12 minutes depending on traffic) and the resort provides a free shuttle service into Ubud and back to the resort on a set schedule. Also, for a small, added fee, you can arrange for a different drop off or pickup location outside of the set schedule. Lastly, highly recommend the breakfast at the resort to start your day, as they have a great kitchen team, and also serve delicious lunch and dinner options! This Villa is perfect for couples. I can say it's super romantic and intimate. Very clean, Mother Nature is all around it lots of trees. There are 8 villas on the property. There's nothing else but if you're ok with the beautiful villa only then it's perfect. The staff is amazing very friendly and helpful. I loved all of them very kind people. Only downside is it is out in the middle of nowhere. We hired drivers everyday which wasn't a big deal. But I would have loved if they had more around the Villa. It's close to ubud market shop which is great too about a 20 min drive. All in all great place

First time staying there for 4 nights. Awesome! Hubby & I enjoyed it so much. For adults only so pretty quiet in the middle of the padi fields. That being said, plenty of little creatures for company but that is to be expected in a village style accommodation; though upscale. Nothing around but nature; which we loved. Ubud center is about 15 mins away but with shuttle service available we have no complaints. Driver/ Butler is knowledgeable & a good driver. Also help me get some fruits I wanted. Thanks Wayan!😄 Riki the receptionist is so helpful, friendly & personable. Hi Rika! Hope to see you all soon. All wait staff was so sweet, welcoming & spoke good English. Hi girls! Can’t wait to be back.☺️ BTW, the food is fantabulous!! I actually find myself wanting to go back to our little sanctuary for dinner instead of eating out in Ubud. Mashaallah! So goooood! Breakfasts were phenomenal! We were spoilt there. No need to second guess… we will stay there again for sure. Oh and one night, the staff surprised with a beautiful crafted presentation on our bed!!! Great location and beautiful resort with excellent breakfast. The location was quiet and peaceful and close to town without being in the hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was fresh and made to order which I loved. The staff is very friendly and there to assist with anything you may need. I really enjoyed my stay here it was hard to leave. Omg, the BED AND PILLOWS was soooo comfortable... I believe they were made straight from heaven.... That bed was the best so big and comfortable. I still want those pillows.... the best sleep I've had. My driver side said its hard to drive througg from the entrance. Its such a tight space to fit in with a car or truck. Everything was great.

I liked the villa, however it was not clean, the slide doors had too much of a gap between allowing bugs and lizards in. The food was not good.

Staff was always super helpful and friendly, really elevated our stay. Villa was beautiful, we had the honeymoon villa. However the view was not overlooking the jungle like in the pictures at hotels.com but that was okay. There were a few things I found odd: - At check in we were explained that we would be charged for any damages in the room. For instance if there were any stains they could not remove. We of course understand this, but the odd thing is our bed already had some stains when checking in. Chose to ignore this as it wasn’t a big issue/ - Ants, bugs and lizards came through the gap of the door from the pool. This was in the middle of the jungle so we had many visits. Mentioned this at checkout. - The bedside lamps had mould in them. - We weren’t allowed to order outside food because they wanted us to support their hotel. I wish they had a wider variety on the menu at least when this was the case. At checkout we were asked to give a written feedback while the staff were overlooking and reviewing what we wrote. For me this was uncomfortable and I felt I couldn’t give my honest feedback while being put on the spot. Overall it was a nice room and very warm and welcoming staff. Hope you see this feedback for what it’s meant for - constructive and to help you improve.

Clean room, super friendly, nice and sweet staff, would accommodate my request ie: order massage at second request. The pool and outdoor area is clean and perfect to lay and relax. The outdoor tub is so pretty. The breakfast floating basket was awesome!!

Great place to escape from the bustling city. Good food. Excellent service, everyone do their best to be helpful. The massage by the private pool was the best massage I ever had! Booked a candlelight romantic dinner for our honeymoon and it was lovely!

Beautiful location and property! We loved our villa which was clean and everything worked well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are always asking if we had any issues with the room but we never did! The food cooked there is delicious and the driver they have on staff is really great! Highly recommend this place!

What a great place. Away from the center of Ubud (Shuttle available) means it is quiet and tranquil. The Cilla we had (upgraded to 2 Bedroom President Villa) was spacious, well equipped and clean. Nice private pool. We had the floating lunch and the poolside candlelit dinner, and the food was delicious. Would definitely revisit

We stayed in the 2-bedroom Presidential Villa. The Villa did not disappoint. The staff was the best. They went way beyond what was expected to make sure we had everything that we needed and more. They were genuinely happy that we were there and it showed. They treated us like family and royalty (all of them). The food was delicious. On site chef did a marvelous job! Thank you so much to everyone there!

My wife and I spent an 8 day honeymoon here. There were many great things about this place, while also some not so great things. First off, the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming to everyone. When my wife and I both got Bali Belly the staff made sure to check in with us multiple times, and even sent herbal tea to our room that helped with our symptoms. Our driver Agung was the highlight of the Villa, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us a Bali culture 101 (which we LOVED!). Agung felt like our safety net when traveling in an unfamiliar country. He beautifully curated so many experiences for us, and on days when we had a Klook driver booked, he still gave us advice on what to do. 10/10 stars for Agung!! The Villa itself is beautiful, the food delicious, and the nature is incredible. There is a lot of nature, we couldn’t use our outdoor bathtub because it was consistently filled with ants/bugs, and leaves. (Not the villas fault, however an outdoor bathtub & shower in the jungle should be considered before booking). Unfortunately we rarely used the pool due to it being always in shadow, and our daybed had an ant infestation. I want to stress that this place was still incredible, and felt safe as a Queer couple. It’s also in the middle of rice fields, so the bird watching is incredible, and views. However, it’s not walkable, so we did have to take cars everywhere. Side note- there were children staying here, so it isn’t actually adults only

Good: 1. Property met the online description. 2. The pool was same depth after steps and a bit too deep for my liking, i.e. no graded bottom. 3. Outdoor bed by the pool is an excellent place to relax privately. 4. Staff were very helpful in providing information and preparing take away breakfast and arranging transport. Needs improvement: 5.
