Really loved the spa and the property. Food was good. Only thing is the lake on the property was full of trash, probably not the hotels fault but if it's their property it is something to be addressed since there was water life living in the habitat.

I came to stay for a family/friends wedding in September, There were no rooms left so i had one of the pods to myself. It was lovely and clean, the pods are great size for one/two people and maybe wee one if you have one. I really enjoyed my stay. If i had to give one negative, it would be the lighting heading up to the pods needs to be way better, i could hardly see a thing with those dim lights.

It can sometimes be difficult to get rooms here and they can be a bit expensive. However, if you stay in the pods in the woods, they are cheaper than the Premier Inn in Stirling and you get all the facilities of the hotel less than a 30 steps away. WiFi was a bit dodgy though. Cracking good breakfast and dinner there too. Thank you for a great stay.

Parking was plentiful. Beautifully decorate for Xmas. The only 2 issues I have is that the area around the pods need more lighting as it’s very dark and the uneven path and steps are not visible and the WiFi code at the pods did not work.

We didn't use any amenities or food at Inglewood, so I can't comment on them, but they seemed nice. The pod/cabins were wonderful, so peaceful and lovely. Great location with easy parking, we loved it!

We had a lovely one night stay in a suite which was wonderfully spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff were mostly friendly. Thermal suite and outdoor hot tub was good. Evening meal was nice, basic bar food but wholesome and good portions and breakfast was nice, poached egg and bacon over done but otherwise all fine.

I stayed here one night and stayed in one of the pods. It was very clean and comfortable. I ate in the restaurants and the food and service was great. Definitely recommend

The Paton suite was huge, old world elegant and with a bathroom the size of a double bedroom. Service was good, particularly in the restaurant where we ate on both nights and the bar staff were warm and friendly. Dinner was very tasty - the steaks especially. We were very surprised though that our room wasn't serviced during our stay and, when we queried that with the receptionist, to be told that rooms are only serviced on request and asked "why, what did you want to happen?" Staying in a hotel for a special occasion is a real treat and we pushed the boat out with their top room. We expected the tea tray etc to be refreshed and the bed made up. Surely that's an automatic part of the hospitality package? We were made to feel that we were out of step these days, but I think not.

We booked one of the "pods" behind the main building for two nights. This was a very clean and cozy little space for the two of us while still having access to all of the hotel amenities. The pod was comfortable although small which one would expect. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again should we bring the area.

An interesting old building. Clean and comfortable. We had an executive suite with a sofa bed for the kids (hard springs in sofa bed ) Bathroom was nice and large, but the toilet looked out of a front window of the property, so closed curtains, and the toilet roll was on a storage pole? Is it that hard to put a toilet roll holder in? Shower wasn’t great. Our check in experience was not great. Staff were running around us doing other things. We wondered if we were even standing at the right place. I had to interrupt a lady to get us checked in. After that everyone was nice. I think there was a function they were preparing for. But still…. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Dinner is limited but ok.

A stay in the hotel's lodge is not worth the price we paid for it. There was also no wifi, and when we complained about it, the staff answered wifi is complementary. However, they tried to help us, and wifi worked a bit for a while, but then died again. In the today's world it is almost impossible to live without wifi, so this was quite a bad experience. The staff members however were friendly and helpful, and I was even given a bottle of red wine upon my checkout!

The property was impressive to look at but all the original features have been well kept with stunning stain glass windows beautiful staircase, and original large fire place. Our room was stunning such an enormous space. The staff were great effortlessly pleasant and chatty, very warm and comfortable on a night that saw temperatures drop to -9 !!

Amazing building, junior suite was bigger than any hotel suite I have ever stayed in. The beds are not for side sleepers but we find that is true across most of the UK. Also no towel racks and only one per person. But happy to stay, would go again.

Stayed in one of their garden pods, was quite spacious for a pod I’ve stayed in smaller ones. They’re well appointed with everything you need. A nice quiet stay and the food in the restaurant was really good too.

Absolutely 5 stars from us apart from some aspects of the restaurant,waiting staff in the evening fantastic,chef would not accommodate a small change to a meal .morning staff lovely apart from lady in black Bandana,really didn't want to be there and it showed ,one guy asked for 2 eggs and she bluntly told him NO , constantly huffing and puffing,this was the only part that let this place down.The guy on reception was fantastic .

Unfortunately the check-in experience here left something to be desired. The person who works the front desk also tends bar and seemed annoyed by my asking about using the spa (it closed before the time stated in Expedia, I asked for an exception and was really chill about it). She left me standing at the front desk for 15 mins only to return to tell me she couldn't help me any further because the bar was busy (I didn't ask for anything complex, just if she or someone could make a call). I was at the hotel on a special trip and asked nicely if there was anything she could do. I've never met someone at a hotel check-in who cared so little, and went out of her way to mock my waiting there. I didn't want a conflict, and I recognize I asked a favour. It made me feel bad so I won't be returning.

We had an amazing overnight stay in one of the junior suites, the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely and plentiful. My wife and I both used the spa facilities, which were excellent, special thanks to Vadka for the amazing massages. We would highly recommend the hotel and spa to anyone and look forward to our next trip.

Fantastic check-in with staff ensuring a meal, even although the restaurant had officially just closed. We were able to eat in the bar with our dog, essential after an 8 hour journey! The pod had all that we needed and we had a couple of good nights sleep. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Fantastic check-in with staff ensuring a meal, even although the restaurant had officially just closed. We were able to eat in the bar with our dog, essential after an 8 hour journey! The pod had all that we needed and we had a couple of good nights sleep. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Absolutely surpassed expectations. A hidden gem. I stayed for an event in Edinburgh because Edinburgh hotels were expensive due to the festival. 45 min drive to Edinburgh. I stayed in the Wee Room with a single bed. Perfect for what I was needing. I used the sauna facilities which were great, and got a great sleep.

Had a lovely stay at Inglewood - I highly recommend going for a walk around the grounds they are stunning especially the duck pond at the bottom with a little bench behind it.

We had only a one night stay in one of the properties cabins “Cedar” but it was lovely. The grounds are beautiful. There is a extensive path system behind the house and plenty of picture opportunities. The staff was very kind even though we were a very brief guest and there was a very active wedding happening, while we were checking

We didn't use any amenities or food at Inglewood, so I can't comment on them, but they seemed nice. The pod/cabins were wonderful, so peaceful and lovely. Great location with easy parking, we loved it!

Really good stay, room spacious and clean. Very characterful building. All the staff were helpful. Food in the restaurant excellent quality and reasonably priced. Excellent location for visiting Glasgow by train.

Absolutely 5 stars from us apart from some aspects of the restaurant,waiting staff in the evening fantastic,chef would not accommodate a small change to a meal .morning staff lovely apart from lady in black Bandana,really didn't want to be there and it showed ,one guy asked for 2 eggs and she bluntly told him NO , constantly huffing and puffing,this was the only part that let this place down.The guy on reception was fantastic .

We had an amazing overnight stay in one of the junior suites, the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely and plentiful. My wife and I both used the spa facilities, which were excellent, special thanks to Vadka for the amazing massages. We would highly recommend the hotel and spa to anyone and look forward to our next trip.

We had a lovely one night stay in a suite which was wonderfully spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff were mostly friendly. Thermal suite and outdoor hot tub was good. Evening meal was nice, basic bar food but wholesome and good portions and breakfast was nice, poached egg and bacon over done but otherwise all fine.

The cabins are great. quiet and well made. The spa is a added bonus, small but had a good range of things. Just one disappointment this visit was the quality of the vegetarian curry. It really tasted like it was out of a jar and was just vegetables no rich protein source - such as quorn, beans, tofu - which most vegetarians will feel is important.

I was working in the local area and stayed for 3 nights. The staff were all super pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent and the food from the restaurant was both good value and incredibly tasty. I would recommend staying here. Beautiful building set in beautiful surroundings. I didn't get chance to use the spa.

Stayed In one of the glamping lodges, was perfect for an overnight. Slight maintenance issues that could be easily rectified but nothing major. Was slightly noisy due to a hen party but at least they were enjoying themselves ! Staff were friendly, the location is beautiful, they are really dog friendly which is a massive plus, they went out of their way to make sure my dog was looked after with water when we were at the bar area. The meals we had were delicious and good sized portions. Couldn’t experience the spa as I had my son with me but it does have an outdoor hot tub. Parking was close to the pods too so didn’t have far to take luggage which was a bonus. I’ll look Forward to the next time we visit again.

Loved our stay here. Special things to Ally who seemed to be everywhere. The rooms were beautiful and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend this accommodation.

This was a great find! I’d gone to the Japanese garden at Cowden and wanted somewhere to stay the night relatively locally. The hotel had great character and was such good value. Everyone was so lovely. I had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent value and a great facial in the spa. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Nice relaxing stay, if booking through 3rd party be careful of room designation offered we nearly fell foul of that as originally not as shown on booking and upon confirming with hotel found an error as hotel had put us in room 1/2 size at highest point in hotel best to book direct imo. For disabled requirements a bit misleading as there are none. Staff helpful and some EV charging available not shown on website.
