The Corrie Hotel really was our home away from home during our 3-day stay on the Isle of Arran. A short drive on a good road from the Brodick ferry terminal, we found the Corrie Hotel to be a convenient base for our island explorations. The warm atmosphere in the pub and common areas was very welcome after a long day. One of the best features of the hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. Another is the included breakfast in the dining room which is very convenient given the distance from other breakfast options in Brodick.

Really friendly Hotel, lovely staff. We ate in the bar both nights and the food was delicious. Good ales on tap. Perfect for our dogs, beaches in walking distance, allowed in most rooms at hotel.

Beautiful building full of character. Especially loved the out door seating with panoramic views. Great shower and very comfortable beds. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend a stay at Corrie Hotel!

Had a pretty sitting area/ beer garden on the lawn seaside. Friendly pub, inviting in the Scottish cold & rain. Spacious king room, shower a little tight but still fully acceptable.

We were able to finish the bottle of wine we purchased with our delicious dinner at The Corrie Hotel in the beer garden, which was a walk across the road to be seaside. We saw rainbows, dolphins, and dogs. It was magical.

We spent one night at the Corrie: really impressed by the staff, esp the manager Taylor and co-owner Rodger, who both went out of their way to accommodate us as we had ferry hiccups. Everyone we interacted with as friendly, helpful and really welcoming. The only room available when we booked was their simplest double: yet it was comfortable and definitely echoed the historic character of the building. Standouts: our dinner (their signature burger & Steak & Ale pies with side salads) was excellent and served in a lovely warm room with views to the water. Really liked their big common room where we sat at the end of the day planning our next stops. Excellent location to explore Brodick Castle, Goatfell, Lochranza distillery & caslte ruins, etc. Easy drive from the ferry, easy parking.

A nice find on the West coast of Arran. Room was recently renovated. Dinner was excellent. A neat touch is the Beer Garden across the road. We lucked out with a beautiful evening to sit and watch the seabirds, and the occasional seal.

We picked this property as it was dog friendly, which was our main consideration. This was an excellent choice which will be the basis for our return in the future. The staff were polite, helpful and attentive. The bar/ dining area was buzzing both nights we were there. We ate on the second night and it was excellent. Great choice of fresh cooked food with ample portions. We were upgraded for our room and we had a fantastic sea view room which was clean and had excellent ensuite and room amenities. I actually sat at the window for a few hours watching the wildlife and the view over the Firth of Clyde. It is 6 miles from Brodick (which I didn't realise of booking), but that didn't matter as it was in a spot which was close to what we needed. Sitting out in the beer garden overlooking the Clyde with a drink in hand. As for our wee doggy, she was made to feel welcome. Doggy towels and cleaning facilities available, with doggy treats in the bar. Can't praise this place enough.

Perfect stay. Staff are lovely, great welcome and was able to arrange a table for dinner and breakfast (both were excellent). Room was ideal for me. Lovely sea view and really nice touch providing slippers and robes. Shared bathroom was so clean, lovely local Arran Aromatics products provided too. Would definitely stay again.

A great hotel about 15 minutes drive from Brodick. Great staff, views, food. The only thing which took us slightly be surprise is the decision not to put TVs in the bedrooms. That’s almost certainly in the description but we missed it! Hoping to go back and stay again in the future.

Among the best hotels on the island. Particularly the attention to detail and the comforts laid on for guests. The food is superb, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our room was spacious and sumptuous. The building has been extensively renovated and refurbished recently and the owners took the opportunity to ensure the benefits were for the guests. All the staff were extremely approachable and helpful. The garden area at the front of the hotel looks out across the Firth of Clyde to the mainland. What a superb point of interest! We would not stay anywhere else on the island after this experience. It was so relaxing, peaceful and welcoming through out our stay.

A charming hotel with a great breakfast, spacious comfortable room and stunning views. Staff were excellent and accomodated my coffee requests for cream instead of milk. Nice soap products. We are already planning a return visit.

Just outstanding! Jordan, Billy, Anita and the rest of the Corrie team made my son and I feel very much at home! They went above and beyond to look after us even when we were late for lunch coming back from a hike. Surely my wife and I will make an escape to the Corrie again when we're next in Scotland.

Breakfast ok on first day, was 15 minutes late on second day and been told everything wss already switched off and couldn't get anything hot anymore Staff friendly apart kitchen staff , Hotel trying to save money on everything especially on heating with was pre programmed to 21° Maximum and only in specific times, there's an option for boost but only for 1 hour and with same temperature

From start to finish we had the most wonderful visit here. The staff were so welcoming and the setting beautiful. The restaurant had the best food we had on Arran, in fact the one night we didn’t eat at the hotel we regretted it. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We spent one night at the Corrie: really impressed by the staff, esp the manager Taylor and co-owner Rodger, who both went out of their way to accommodate us as we had ferry hiccups. Everyone we interacted with as friendly, helpful and really welcoming. The only room available when we booked was their simplest double: yet it was comfortable and definitely echoed the historic character of the building. Standouts: our dinner (their signature burger & Steak & Ale pies with side salads) was excellent and served in a lovely warm room with views to the water. Really liked their big common room where we sat at the end of the day planning our next stops. Excellent location to explore Brodick Castle, Goatfell, Lochranza distillery & caslte ruins, etc. Easy drive from the ferry, easy parking.

After a long journey we wanted to rest on arrival at the hotel howver there was work being carried out at the next to our bedroom room 1 which was loud banging and drilling we have taken video evidence of this the noise was causing our 2 dogs to bark loudly there was also no tv in our bedroom we also sat for 20 minutes waiting to check out no one was available at the desk and we had a ferry to catch.

The Corrie Hotel really was our home away from home during our 3-day stay on the Isle of Arran. A short drive on a good road from the Brodick ferry terminal, we found the Corrie Hotel to be a convenient base for our island explorations. The warm atmosphere in the pub and common areas was very welcome after a long day. One of the best features of the hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. Another is the included breakfast in the dining room which is very convenient given the distance from other breakfast options in Brodick.

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was charming and full of character, the hotel was well located on the island: seaside, ten minutes from Brodick, less than a block from the Fish Bar and Deli. The service was excellent at all turns -- the staff are friendly and informative, breakfast is made fresh every morning with a table reserved just for you, and the restaurant is great (I almost cried at how good my sticky toffee pudding was, with Isle of Arran made ice cream on top). There's a bar and lounge inside, plus a beer garden outside. My only regret is that I didn't get to stay longer. A great, relaxing stay on a lovely island.

A great hotel about 15 minutes drive from Brodick. Great staff, views, food. The only thing which took us slightly be surprise is the decision not to put TVs in the bedrooms. That’s almost certainly in the description but we missed it! Hoping to go back and stay again in the future.

Among the best hotels on the island. Particularly the attention to detail and the comforts laid on for guests. The food is superb, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our room was spacious and sumptuous. The building has been extensively renovated and refurbished recently and the owners took the opportunity to ensure the benefits were for the guests. All the staff were extremely approachable and helpful. The garden area at the front of the hotel looks out across the Firth of Clyde to the mainland. What a superb point of interest! We would not stay anywhere else on the island after this experience. It was so relaxing, peaceful and welcoming through out our stay.

A nice find on the West coast of Arran. Room was recently renovated. Dinner was excellent. A neat touch is the Beer Garden across the road. We lucked out with a beautiful evening to sit and watch the seabirds, and the occasional seal.

We picked this property as it was dog friendly, which was our main consideration. This was an excellent choice which will be the basis for our return in the future. The staff were polite, helpful and attentive. The bar/ dining area was buzzing both nights we were there. We ate on the second night and it was excellent. Great choice of fresh cooked food with ample portions. We were upgraded for our room and we had a fantastic sea view room which was clean and had excellent ensuite and room amenities. I actually sat at the window for a few hours watching the wildlife and the view over the Firth of Clyde. It is 6 miles from Brodick (which I didn't realise of booking), but that didn't matter as it was in a spot which was close to what we needed. Sitting out in the beer garden overlooking the Clyde with a drink in hand. As for our wee doggy, she was made to feel welcome. Doggy towels and cleaning facilities available, with doggy treats in the bar. Can't praise this place enough.

Really friendly Hotel, lovely staff. We ate in the bar both nights and the food was delicious. Good ales on tap. Perfect for our dogs, beaches in walking distance, allowed in most rooms at hotel.

Breakfast ok on first day, was 15 minutes late on second day and been told everything wss already switched off and couldn't get anything hot anymore Staff friendly apart kitchen staff , Hotel trying to save money on everything especially on heating with was pre programmed to 21° Maximum and only in specific times, there's an option for boost but only for 1 hour and with same temperature

The room was small but the view of the sea more than made up for it. The private bathroom(not en-suite) was beautiful and spotless with the softest towels. The bed was comfortable and we loved that there was no tv to drown out the lapping waves! The food at breakfast and dinner was great quality and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again if we get the chance.
