Only thing that could have made it a 5 star for us is the parking. There was no parking for trucks that was more than 2.5m high. We had to find roadside luckily it was the weekend it was free. It would be costly if weekday & hard to find parking thats safe.

Car park lots were mostly for small cats so it was a challenge to park the car. The veneer on the door trim for the fridge was broken. There should be international TV channels, not just free to air.

I didn't like: $30 a night parking fee - I think it should be included in the price - not an add on - 6 nights = $180 (shocker) Having to request the night before any room servicing could be done the over the Easter weekend A real shane as otherwise great place to stay

We had 2 nights at The Johnson. Staff were mostly helpful and accommodating. Room was spacious, pool great, bed comfy but our Air Con was making noises which made it difficult to sleep. We had someone look at it but it still made noises. Parking fees are extra, and there is no pull in off street to check in before parking in the very tight parks. City bus loop out side made it easy to get to city.

Stayed at The Johnson over several days - loved the pool and gym area - staff very friendly and accommodating - was handy having a little kitchenette - we like staying just north of the city as have access to howard st wharves and the city as well as being able to get north easily which we needed to attend for a basketball comp. Rooms a little stuffy could have done with an extra dust and stronger vacuum - and the a/c needed a filter clean - but overall quite was clean and we really enjoyed it - will be back

The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. The lifts weren't working and no one from reception came to help as a group of people stood in the foyer. I paid for 2 nights parking, however upon reading the slip I was given, parking spots were not guaranteed so I paid extra in parking around the hotel when there were no spots inside available which was very disappointing. As I had 3 small children with me this was very upsetting to not have the security of a park. I would not book here again due to this reason.

I felt like I was in an old hospital that was run down. From chipped tables, to an old hallway with bits of paint on it, no room service, dirty room etc. When you arrive and pay for parking, they then make you put a ticket on your car and go back down again. You then don’t know which level parking is on as there are no signs in the lift. No room service-for the price is pretty disappointed. The bathroom was like one in a hospital, super weird and with a dirty old bath mat and curtains. Gross.

The room smelt of mould in Room 511. We wanted to open the windows to air the rokm but it was extremely noisy. The staff were nice and the overall facilities were good but it seemed like our room hadnt been used in a long time. Such a shame.

The Johnson in Brisbane is a wonderful place to stay. I have discovered it because it is close to my opthamologist that I have been seeing for the last 10 months and I live in western Qld. The rooms at the Johnson are huge and everything is so clean and tidy. It is close to some great restaurants and close to the centre of town. There is even a Barbershop right across the road! Great place to stay!

Upon arrival, I was assigned an accessible room that I had not requested. This made me feel very uncomfortable, especially since the balcony was obstructed by the back of a restaurant, offering no view whatsoever. After expressing my concerns, I requested a room change. While I was moved to another room, it was on a lower floor facing the car park, despite the fact that there were other rooms with beautiful views of the swimming pool and landscape. This felt like a missed opportunity for a more enjoyable stay. Additionally, the communication between staff members was quite poor. One staff member informed me that my luggage had been sent to my new room, but I later discovered that it was still in the left luggage room. This lack of coordination only added to my frustration. Lastly, I was disappointed to find that there was no restaurant available in the hotel. The explanation given was that it was closed since COVID-19. The lack of dining option was particularly inconvenient, especially given the hotel is located in a suburb area. Overall, my stay did not meet my expectations, and I hope the management addresses these issues for future guests.

This hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade, damage within the rooms was everywhere, from chunks out of the walls to thread bare carpet. The bed was one of the worst I've ever experienced, very old and saggy, definitely not a comfortable or enjoyable experience. Accor need to pay attention to this brand and align them with their wider brand offering.

Staff were really helpful both on the phone and in person. The room was quite spacious considering we had 5 people. Beds were really comfortable - not something I would have expected at this price point. Was really impressed and will definitely stay again next time we visit Brisbane.

The hotel is great, the family rooms are large and clean and the pool is lovely. The only thing I found was that it's a bit of a hike along busy roads to the Queen Street Mall and places like the South Bank. Still, it's within walking distance to central places which is great.

The rooms at the Johnson are huge and everything is so clean and tidy. It is close to some great restaurants and close to the centre of town. There is even a Barbershop right across the road! Great place to stay!

Perfekt läge i Brisbane om man gillar restaurangerna/barerna/bryggeriet under bron, vilket vi verkligen gjorde. Gillade verkligen hotellets utformning och stil även om det börjar bli något luggslitet här och där. Men totalen tummen upp ändå. Konsten på väggarna gör mycket för känslan/viben. Den 50 meter långa poolen gör också sitt till för att man ska trivas bra här. Bodde i två olika rumstyper och båda var vädligt fint utformade och designade. Kommer gärna tillbara!

Upon arrival, I was assigned an accessible room that I had not requested. This made me feel very uncomfortable, especially since the balcony was obstructed by the back of a restaurant, offering no view whatsoever. After expressing my concerns, I requested a room change. While I was moved to another room, it was on a lower floor facing the car park, despite the fact that there were other rooms with beautiful views of the swimming pool and landscape. This felt like a missed opportunity for a more enjoyable stay. Additionally, the communication between staff members was quite poor. One staff member informed me that my luggage had been sent to my new room, but I later discovered that it was still in the left luggage room. This lack of coordination only added to my frustration. Lastly, I was disappointed to find that there was no restaurant available in the hotel. The explanation given was that it was closed since COVID-19. The lack of dining option was particularly inconvenient, especially given the hotel is located in a suburb area. Overall, my stay did not meet my expectations, and I hope the management addresses these issues for future guests.

Definitely not the experience I was hoping for on my first Brisbane Trip. For the price, Room and Amenities are really poor. After checking out and seeing the invoice - I see that it includes breakfast which was not informed at all.

Comfortable Bed and Room. I am unsure how to be objective. It was extremely frustrating stay in many areas. The person who signed me in, did not tell me how to get into the hotel parking. This hotel has people who live in the hotel as well. When I got back to my car I had signs on the car, like FFS. Parking for them is in a separate area which they do not inform you of. If anyone is staying in this hotel, you need to park in the yellow carpark, the entry is on the main road before the actual hotel on the street. They also didn't tell me how to access the hotel parking which has a gigantic roller door. You need to press a bell, every single time. Now the room I stayed in was spacious, the bed comfortable and it was one bed and not two which I very much enjoyed, it was a king bed. It had a balcony and really high roof. The bathroom was spacious and it had a little kitchenette. The only down side to the room, was the bathroom pipes stunk and it smelt bad when you came back to the room. They really need to resolve the pipe issue. The sheets had stains on them, it was pretty gross some was blood. They also didn't have a price list or inform you that the mini bar was complementary or not, I tried to find out on the website no price list. When you leave the hotel parking there is not sensor, for the love of god, why would they build a entire building and not put a bloody sensor at the exit gate? Yu have to get out of the car and manually open the roller door. The staff have no idea
