The room was small but great for what I required. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels and hot water, off street parking, and very little noise. The place is an older motel but everything worked, is being refurbished and a great place to get a good nights sleep. Highly recommended! Has everything except shower wand and coffee-pot.

Owners were very rude and difficult to deal with. Room was not clean at all and there was no hot water. Shower would not drain and there was mold in bathroom

The motel was dirty, bathroom tiles were broken and had holes in them exposing the internal wall plumbing, carpet old and outdated. Charged me a pet fee despite me showing my dog is a service dog. Linens were stained. Horrible experience. $100 should be illegal to charge for that experience. Won’t stay again!

Front desk lady wasn't very friendly but I kindnof understand why. She deals with people who don't follow directions. That would irritate me, too. I did like the old keychain she handed me fornthe room. That hit me right in my nostalgia. Lastly, I believe the plumber to be dyslexic because my shower knobs were backwards - cold was hot and hotnwas cold. Plenty of hot water.

The room was very sufficient but the shower was not great at all the pressure was good hot water great but the nozzle didn't work properly and the tub filled with water as you showered leaving you to stand in dirty water

I booked a non smoking room as I am not a smoker, however, the room we got reeked of cigarettes. Also, it was 19° outside and the heat on the unit didn’t work. It only blew cold air. We were traveling from two hours away and didn’t get there until 11pm with my 2 year old, so we pretty much just bundled up and dealt with it.

There is an adjacent restaurant and a coffee shop about 100 yards away. This is a simple, untrendy, unpretentious motel. It is in a good location and it is not expensive. The value for money is very good.

Not bad considering it's the cheapest hotel in town. I travel a lot on business and frankly I don't care about jacuzzis, weight rooms, etc. When I trundle in at 12:30 AM. So getting down to the basics, the room was small, but clean. I felt safe in the area. The shower had plenty of hot water. The air conditioner was cold. The bed was very comfortable. There were no odors The tv worked fine. My late night check in went smoothly Having said that, my room was nothing like the pictures. The comforter had a cigarette hole and the tub has a weird stain and holes perhaps from an inconsiderate smoker. The strike plate wasn't aligned properly for the deadbolt on the door, but a chair wedge under the door handle took care of that adequstely. The dressers were surprisingly nice, if old with solid marble tops. So if you're a family on a vacation trip and you can afford a more upscale place then yes you can do a lot better, but if you're just wanting a clean, safe comfortable no frills place to sleep, this hotel is fine.

We stayed two nights, in town for kayaking. Very clean! Beds are not comfortable. Owner was nice. Kinda shady locals obviously living on property but I did not feel unsafe . Just and old road side motel. Fridge and microwave work great and again very clean.

It was a rough stay at Shaw's Komfort Motel. I had to go next door to check-in. Then the hotel clerk did not acknowledge that I had a reservation. I had to fill out a regular registration before checking in. The room was very small and the air conditioning was not turned on in the room. It was hot and I tried to remedy the situation by turning it on and got warm air. I had to get the clerk to come into my room and turn the air on. The WiFi was slow and weak and I had to ask for the password, because it was not given to me when I checked in. The tub had numerous cigarette burn marks on it. The curtain barely covered the window in the bathroom. No coffee in my room either. I guess you get what you paid for here.

When we arrived there was no one on the premises and everything was locked up. Tried ringing the bell and knocking on the lobby door and looked around but found nobody anywhere.

Older motel needs upgrades but bery clean and inexpensive. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.

To much drug activity and people partying outside at midnight ended up leaving and not staying at all and driving back to Memphis. Took picture of our bags and other things to make sure no one went through them while we were on the lake. The lamps were missing the light bulbs and the bed sheets and comforter had holes burned in them in a non smoking room. The whole area felt uneasy. Waste of time and the owner only refunded half my money.
