Great place to stay for the trip we had, super close to the lake, restaurant and bar on site, perfect outside seating to relax outside. Shops are in walking distance, great price on golf cart rental. The staff were great, very quickly took care of a small issue, we will stay here again

Fun little stay in Put In Bay for a large group. The front desk was very helpful and the location was great. The stairs up to the unit were a little rough, especially in the heat, and more golf cart space is definitely needed.

Room was huge and very clean with small fridge, microwave, large private patio right off the room in the heart of downtown puttin bay so could walk to everything if we didnt want to use the golf cart.

We loved this place!! It's in the heart of town with a great bar attached. The staff was so welcoming and kind. We had a big group and they accommodated us all, no problem. It doesn't have its own pool but we were able to get into the Sand Bar down the street with no extra charge, which was great! Right in the heart of town. Very clean. I wish the family suite had at least another 1/2 bath in one of the rooms, but it's nothing to knock a star off for since all the other factors were great. Highly recommend. Will go back!

Perfect location in the heart of put-in-bay. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants and bars and they had parking for our car & rented golf cart, and they charge for parking just one block away. Very spacious accommodations, perfect size for a group of 5 of us. It can get loud, especially being above a bar, so if that can bother you then maybe look elsewhere. For us though, we felt things closed early enough to enjoy the stay and have a blast.

We booked the comfort suite and had a wonderful stay! The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property was spacious and clean. The location was perfect. We walked to everything downtown within minutes, yet had a quiet retreat at the end of the day. The patio had beautiful views of the lake and Perry’s Monument to enjoy our morning coffee.

Rachal, the girl who checked us in was incredible. At the hotel we were able to rent a golf cart for much less than other places charged. The place was very clean. Would definitely only stay at this place in the future. The location was excellent. Right in the middle of town an very close to the Jet Express dock.

This was an outstanding stay in Put-in-Bay. The room was easy to check into and very clean. It's right in the heart of downtown, so everything is close and walkable. The A/C was good and completely coffee made for a good morning.

Our suite was located in a convenient spot to downtown shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaned of cobwebs before our stay. We turned off the air due to black spots located around the vents and on the bed blankets. Venting system could use a clean. Not much in the way of amenities. Definitely a place for the younger generation since our suite was located above the bar. Luckily It was quiet since we stayed during the week and the off-season.

Firstly, the staff seemed nice. However, there were just a number of things that were off. The office wasn’t clearly marked, knocked on a number of doors and ended up having to call for them to open up. The room had a dirty towel and dirty underwear in the closet. Both rooms had cobwebs in the lamps next to the bed, some of them weren’t plugged in. The shower had mold along the edges where your hands go as you go in and out. The windows haven’t been cleaned in a while as evident by the dead bugs and black specs of something. There is a random door in one bedroom that looks like an emergency exit, but it should have some lock that the guest can use to feel like someone can’t just walk in. Yes, it has a key, but not something that we have but someone else we don’t know. It felt off. It wasn’t clear for the checkout time because it said between 11 and 12 so I went to the office to ask at ~10:05 and they told me it was 10. I was visibly annoyed and said it was between 11 and 12 and they told me it would be fine and that they would clean later. Just say 10, 11 or 12. Don’t give a range. I had called the office many times from my room the night before they closed and no one ever answered me or called me back. The WiFi instructions had the wrong details. No one ever helped. We wore socks the entire time we were there because when you would take a shower and your towel would get on the floor. The towel would turn dark because the floor was dirty. Stay was ok...storm came in and the ceiling in our room started leaking while we were sitting on tge bar stolls and then the plaster from the ceiling fell on us as well...manager would only refund $50 ans i felt that wasnt fair plus the couch fold out mattress was disgusting

Recently stayed in the Deluxe Suite Garden. Overall, had a great experience. great location! The courtyard was peaceful, quiet relaxing atmosphere where we enjoyed coffee or snacks. One major plus was the bar next door—it was easily accessible, the staff was friendly, and both the food and drinks were excellent. The suite itself was very spacious and featured an open-concept loft design. Having 2 ½ bathrooms, with sinks located outside in the hallway, was extremely helpful for our larger group, allowing multiple people to get ready at the same time. We appreciated that towels were provided on each bed upon check-in, and linens for the pull-out sofas were already in the ottoman. That said, the sofa beds were a bit of a downside. One of them was slightly crooked and leaned to one side, and the mattress wasn’t in the best condition, had a few stains. We made do by layering extra sheets, but a cleaner mattress or fixed pull out base would have made a big difference. We also experienced some difficulty reaching staff in the office—we had to stop by multiple times before finding someone to help us with fresh towels. The same happened when we had questions about check-out. However, once we did connect with staff, they were friendly and helpful. On check-out day, they even allowed us to store our luggage in the office so we could explore a bit more before leaving. Overall, despite a few very minor inconveniences, this was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. would stay here again!

Girls weekend was great for this stay. We were comfy, perfect AC temps in the room, bathroom was small but still worked for 6 of us. More than enough space and sleep room! Highly recommend !!

The staff could not be better, she allowed early check-in, allowed a free upgrade and was extremely accommodating. Only critique is that the sofas were quite broken down and uncomfortable, the TV is very small for the size is room and despite having directv there were only approximately 10 channels available. Location is fantastic, couldn't be more centrally located.

It was nice could have had better lighting at the entrance and a more Secure door where you Entered. Yes good place to be it’s walking distance to stores and restaurants . Room was clean . It would have been nice to have two bathrooms with 4 women but we worked it out .

Needed a place to stay one night on the island. This place served its purpose. Check-in was easy. People in the office seemed nice. Place was clean and quiet for our stay…not sure how quiet it is during the weekend or over holidays. One thing i should point it is the tiny shower…had to use geometry to get the right angles for and adequate cleaning. Toilet area is very cramped. I’m 51 years old and have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years, but never experienced a shower as small as this one and a toilet area as cramped as this one.

We were able to walk to all of the restaurants and bars and they had parking for our car & rented golf cart, and they charge for parking just one block away. Very spacious accommodations, perfect size for a group of 5 of us. It can get loud, especially being above a bar, so if that can bother you then maybe look elsewhere. For us though, we felt things closed early enough to enjoy the stay and have a blast.

Recently stayed in the Deluxe Suite Garden. Overall, had a great experience. great location! The courtyard was peaceful, quiet relaxing atmosphere where we enjoyed coffee or snacks. One major plus was the bar next door—it was easily accessible, the staff was friendly, and both the food and drinks were excellent. The suite itself was very spacious and featured an open-concept loft design. Having 2 ½ bathrooms, with sinks located outside in the hallway, was extremely helpful for our larger group, allowing multiple people to get ready at the same time. We appreciated that towels were provided on each bed upon check-in, and linens for the pull-out sofas were already in the ottoman. That said, the sofa beds were a bit of a downside. One of them was slightly crooked and leaned to one side, and the mattress wasn’t in the best condition, had a few stains. We made do by layering extra sheets, but a cleaner mattress or fixed pull out base would have made a big difference. We also experienced some difficulty reaching staff in the office—we had to stop by multiple times before finding someone to help us with fresh towels. The same happened when we had questions about check-out. However, once we did connect with staff, they were friendly and helpful. On check-out day, they even allowed us to store our luggage in the office so we could explore a bit more before leaving. Overall, despite a few very minor inconveniences, this was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. would stay here again!

I love the fact that Rachel, who works in the Harbour Square Suites office, reached out to me via text to welcome me for my stay later that day. She let me know that my room was ready and she even offered a bike, since I was not able to bring mine. I had a great experience from the time I received her message to the time I checked out! Rachel was very sweet and answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Harbour Square Suites!!! The room was comfortable, clean and perfect for my stay. I loved the beautiful shower too! Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Bonus, parking was right near my room. I am already booked to go back in August! Thank you again, to Rachel for your wonderful hospitality!!!

This was our second time staying here. This place is within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. The unit we got this time, the hot water tank went out completely and we were staying there another night - there were 10 of us staying there. The owner was extremely accommodating and allowed us to stay in the unit next to us for our last night AND allow us keep our place that didn’t have hot water. Hands down - excellent customer service!! We will be staying there again.

Firstly, the staff seemed nice. However, there were just a number of things that were off. The office wasn’t clearly marked, knocked on a number of doors and ended up having to call for them to open up. The room had a dirty towel and dirty underwear in the closet. Both rooms had cobwebs in the lamps next to the bed, some of them weren’t plugged in. The shower had mold along the edges where your hands go as you go in and out. The windows haven’t been cleaned in a while as evident by the dead bugs and black specs of something. There is a random door in one bedroom that looks like an emergency exit, but it should have some lock that the guest can use to feel like someone can’t just walk in. Yes, it has a key, but not something that we have but someone else we don’t know. It felt off. It wasn’t clear for the checkout time because it said between 11 and 12 so I went to the office to ask at ~10:05 and they told me it was 10. I was visibly annoyed and said it was between 11 and 12 and they told me it would be fine and that they would clean later. Just say 10, 11 or 12. Don’t give a range. I had called the office many times from my room the night before they closed and no one ever answered me or called me back. The WiFi instructions had the wrong details. No one ever helped. We wore socks the entire time we were there because when you would take a shower and your towel would get on the floor. The towel would turn dark because the floor was dirty. A staff member contacted me before my arrival and was responsive and very helpful. The room is clean and spacious, and the keyless entry means I don’t have to worry about losing my key. There are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The property was clean and had a nice view from the balcony of the monument and lake. It was right in the heart of the small town with lots of shops and places to eat and things to do! I especially appreciated that the tiki bar opened late and closed early so that the live music did not disturb guests.

We booked the comfort suite and had a wonderful stay! The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property was spacious and clean. The location was perfect. We walked to everything downtown within minutes, yet had a quiet retreat at the end of the day. The patio had beautiful views of the lake and Perry’s Monument to enjoy our morning coffee.

Great place to stay for the trip we had, super close to the lake, restaurant and bar on site, perfect outside seating to relax outside. Shops are in walking distance, great price on golf cart rental. The staff were great, very quickly took care of a small issue, we will stay here again

We loved this place!! It's in the heart of town with a great bar attached. The staff was so welcoming and kind. We had a big group and they accommodated us all, no problem. It doesn't have its own pool but we were able to get into the Sand Bar down the street with no extra charge, which was great! Right in the heart of town. Very clean. I wish the family suite had at least another 1/2 bath in one of the rooms, but it's nothing to knock a star off for since all the other factors were great. Highly recommend. Will go back!

One pullout bed was completely broken, and the other was in very poor condition (severely bent and lopsided with a very stained mattress. The couches were ripped. The bathroom was the size of a closet with no shelving or area to stow the essentials. The shower was so small, one couldn't bend down in it without hitting the wall. The only sink was in the bathroom. There was not enough towels or washcloths provided, and the remote control for the living room television was missing/gone. The microwave was so small, popcorn couldn't spin properly. The staff was very kind and helpful - they provided us with a new bed so our family of 5 all had somewhere to sleep. But overall, this was unacceptable for the price we paid to stay there.

Older hodpodge of buildings. Loud obnoxious country western music at the Marg Bar connected to the hotel. Very slow internet that was unusable and did not allow any TV viewing. Huge spacious room with good cold a/c. No real check in desk and no one to call or help with issues. My advise- stay away from this property.
Older hodpodge of buildings. Loud obnoxious country western music at the Marg Bar connected to the hotel. Very slow internet that was unusable and did not allow any TV viewing. Huge spacious room with good cold a/c. No real check in desk and no one to call or help with issues. My advise- stay away from this property.

I would give the overall experience 4 out of 5 stars. I have more positive things than negative to say about Harbour Square. One improvement they could make would be to add clear signage that helps visitors know they have arrived at Harbour Square. The check-in office has signage, but it is still confusing since the office doesn’t say “Harbour Square” anywhere and is a part of the same building at the adjoining bar. Our suite was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff checked our family in very early and gave us a place to quickly settle in before exploring the island, which was a real blessing. Our suite was a balcony suite, which required climbing a set of rustic stairs. It wouldn’t be considered handicap accessible because there is no available elevator. That’s just the nature of the building, so no real complaints, though. The balcony provides a great view of the area overlooking the bar area downstairs. The suite was cool on a hot day, and I got a good night’s sleep after a long day. I was thankful to have a nice suite so close to the many businesses and the Jet Express dock! Thank you Harbour Square!
