Cute and cozy. My daughter and I rented an efficiency room with two double beds. Our third floor room gave a great view of the beach and boardwalk. They had propane grills, picnic tables, life sized chess & connect four, and cornhole. The staff were all nice.

Staff was very nice. Area, not so much. Vacant lots and trash in areas around property. Just 2-3 block walk to the beach but a music festival was starting the next week (directly across the street!) so the sidewalks, parking lot and streets were blocked. Made it very hard to get around by foot or by car. Room on 4th floor, no elevator. We didn't ask for help with luggage. Staff didn't offer. A/C was extremely loud but helped drown out the set up across the street. Small swimming pool but it was cleaned every day. Downtown is shady in the late afternoon and evening. Inappropriate clothing and items for sale. Not a family-friendly area.

Very warm welcome, coffee at reception any time, free games, free use of barbecues, free beach chairs. Rooms are small and very simple but OK for the price paid. Very noisy place especially on Saturday evening, OMG!! But you are right in the middle of the place!

This was our 3rd year staying here, i love how its just a block away from the beach and basically right in the middle of everything. Not to mention its a fairly cheep motel, however the pool thats pictured on all the sites is no longer there and its a concrete empty lot. The pool is located on the side and relatively small, the rooms have always been clean. Will definitely book again in the future, the staffs friendly.

I chose this hotel because of its affordable price, convenient location, and relatively high customer ratings. However, I had a terrible experience with bed bugs for the first time in my life. When I asked to change rooms because of the bed bugs, I did not receive any apology from the hotel. Although they changed my room, the situation did not seem to improve much. After returning home, I spent two full days washing and cleaning all the clothes, bags, shoes, and even the inside of my car that I had used at the hotel. Even now, I am stressed and anxious, worrying that bed bugs might have been brought into my home. The bites all over my body are still itchy.

There was black mold and pink mildew in the shower, tooth paste on the walls in the bathroom, puke on a chair, the floors were disgusting. When I expressed my disgust (respectfully) all I got was "I'm sorry ma'am, we didn't know it was that bad."

HORRIBLE hotel. Everything is old. Everything stinks. It stinks of sewage, the pool is dirty and apparently you can get infected in it... the territory is located not badly. But! from staying in this place you probably will not want to visit this city again! The cleaning in the room is disgusting. Dirt and sand everywhere. The bed linen is relatively clean. The air conditioner can't cope because it's very old! We had a reservation for 3 days. But we left after the first night!!!

My husband and I stayed here with our 9 month old. We checked in on July 12 and stayed in room 112. We checked out at 6 am on the 13th because there were bed bugs in our beds. When my husband went to the front desk to tell them about it their response was “yeah we get them sometimes and we get roaches too”. We were able to get our money back for our stay except for the first night. I will never stay here again and do not recommend this place.

I want to be careful in reviewing this property. I understand it is a much older building and is family owned, therefore standards and procedures may not necessarily be stringent. The location of the property is great- perfect walking distance to the center area where most the Ocean Blvd attractions and eateries are. The staff was polite and caring. The in-room facilities is where my stay fell short. The dust in the room was caked on- to the curtains, window seals, tv, lamps, and nightstand... as though it had many months, or even years since dusting. Dead flies were on the window seal. Hair strands and sand particles left on the walls and in the floor of the shower. And the toilet was not functioning- due to a leak out the back of the tank. I did address the toilet issue with the front desk on the first, but yet the problem persisted. A more detailed inspection of the rooms should be done before renting out to patrons. The property has tons of great potential that quickly declines due to the lack of cleanliness detail.

Parking area was small. My buddy that traveled with us got his car hit in the parking lot. Awesome person actually left their info. Thank you for being honest. The tv wouldn’t turn on. Front desk gave me new batteries for the remote. It cut on but no channel worked. Didn’t spend much time in the room, so staff wasn’t able to fix this issue. Also the WiFi, you could connect to it, but no internet service. Staff said we may need to power off our phones and then power them back on for it to work. Even tried with a laptop. No luck. Then the somewhat updated room had seen better days. On one site, this hotel advertised ocean front. One site said ocean view. When I got there, you can see the ocean from the room. But it wasn’t ocean front. Same as the beds, one site said two queen beds. One said two double beds. My room had two double beds.

EXCELLENT location, nice ocean view. Basic room, no frills (not even any artwork on the walls!), but clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, everything was tiny so don’t expect to store a lot in the fridge but it worked for us! Low pressure in the shower but that’s to be expected. Biggest complaint was that the neighbors smoked pot on the balcony and it seeped into our room every day/night. But otherwise staff were friendly, accommodations were great, and location can’t be beat at this price point!

For the price stay was fine. Was very quiet but also off season. Room was clean, shower worked well. Never used stove but sink, utensils, microwave and fridge came in handy. Ocean view a little misleading but fine - see photo. Like 5 minute walk to ocean, although I never actually went there.

The area was so convenient and close to the beach. The only staff we interacted with were nice. We were told we could buy drinks in 114 but it was locked majority of our stay. You had to use your room key to unlock it and only once was the deadbolt not locked. The key only works the knob not the deadbolt. The hotel was clean and maintained and the staff worked on the area outside constantly. But the activities around the yard are old and look weathered. It is an older hotel. The air conditioner did not cool the room much (making it hard to sleep or get comfortable) and the beds are hard. There is very little water pressure and it made showering a lot longer process. We were on the 4th floor and there's no elevator. All in all it was a good stay and I'd stay again if I need to. I would give the location 10 stars. It's less than a block to literally anything you could need.

The staff is amazing. I’ve been here several times and this time accidentally booked the wrong room. They were happy to help and moved me right away to accommodate our needs. This place isn’t bougie. It’s convenient, friendly, clean, and a block from the beach with ocean views. I absolutely love it for the price, location and staff.

The property was in an excellent location close walk to the beach and shopping. The staff were friendly. They allowed us to check in early since we flew into myrtle beach in the morning. Negative.... customer service is lacking. We left something behind and when we tried calling for assistance they hung up on us and refused to help with the issue. On the morning of departure we spoke with someone on the emergency line who told us they would help and for us to call back later in the morning but that didn't happen. They still have not spoken to us to help out.

When we went to our assigned room, it had not been cleaned. We had to get another room. It had extremely tight kitchen, no coffee pot, not enough silverware, even basics like spoons. Very, very noisy!!! ,- door does not shut tight, allows all noises to enter. Did not get much sleep during our stay. It seemed under staffed. No staff between 10 pm- 8 am.

When we went to our assigned room, it had not been cleaned. We had to get another room. It had extremely tight kitchen, no coffee pot, not enough silverware, even basics like spoons. Older motel but well maintained. Awesome location and affordable. We will definitely stay again when visiting Myrtle Beach. Randy and Theresa were very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing location, extremely reasonable pricing for quality of the rooms. Great place, great vibes, nice staff. Seriously if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay that's close to everything everything the strip has to offer, this is the place. Would definitely stay there again.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Very accessible and close to the beach. The staff are very helpful. I also like that they have 24 hour free coffee at their reception area. I would definitely recommend this to travellers who are on the budget.

The location of this inn is great. You can walk to the beach easily and walk to the boardwalk that has so much activities and food. The A/C ran cold which felt great because of the excess heat outside. The only negative thing I noticed is the cleanliness. As soon as i walked in I could feel the dirt ALL over the floor as if it hasn't been swept in weeks with maybe 3 layers of dust. Luckily there was a broom in the corner that I used. Bathroom tub was a little dirty too. This inn is probably the best price for it's location but remember you get what you pay for.
