Only real issue is parking. The parking lot and spaces are on the natrow side, especially considering that some of the guests that were there at the time couldn't park between the lines.

Nice location, lovely view of back bay, clean facility. Bed lacked firm support, no daily room service, had to exchange towels and get supplies from front desk. Tiled floor got sandy. Nice dock and gazebo.

We stayed 2 years ago and was able to walk on the dock/deck, this time it was closed, I think that is an amenity many like there. Also the bottom of the headboards on the beds need to be dusted and cleaned. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.

This is not the Waldorf Astoria. But it's a good place that was clean and we'll staffed. The pool, while not huge was clean and enjoyable. The view from the back is fantastic with a great look down the cut to the sound. It's a reasonable walk to the beach and not too far to the main Atlantic Beach Oceanfront (aka "The Triangle"). For the price, we were very pleased with the amenities. The only warning is that parking can be a bit snug, especially if you're driving a full size truck. And only one vehicle is allowed to park in the lot per unit.

Really cute room with a lot of amenities though it’s pretty crowded with lots of furniture. I was disappointed that we couldn’t see any water from our tiny balcony. There is only a little water (and not the ocean) at the back of the property but you have to reserve a room on the back and a top floor to see it. Also disappointed that the walkway to the pier and gazebo was blocked off because it is not safe anymore so you could not enjoy that area at all.. which was one reason I booked there. Great place other than that.

Elevator s did not work so they gave us a ground floor room. Not quite as nice as one booked but ok hot water didn't work in showers so yhey made it right by refunding 2 or the 3 night otherwise very happy with stay. Would stay again

The room is nicely decorated beach themed. My kids had so much fun in the warm pool. I love the view from the pool. The staff are nice and approachable. I would highly recommend to my family and friends.

It was absolutely disgusting! First night there we found dirty clothes in between the headboard and mattress, we went to front desk to complaint and they took the clothes and said okay thanks! and wanted to give only a 10% discount. Last night there was the topper to the cake! There was a roach in our bathroom we took picture and again went to front desk to complain, manager told me he would switch our rooms but by this point it was 11pm at night and we were leaving in the morning to check out. He told us we needed to come back in in the morning to speak with a different manager. We came back in the AM and the manager on duty was very aggressive and insisted that the bug was not a roach but water bugs since they are located next to the marsh there was nothing they could do about them other than they have Orkin spray monthly. We were given a discount at this point but I will NEVER stay or recommend anyone to stay here ever again. Absolutely worst experience.

Sound side balcony view was amazing. Room was clean and decorated beautifully. The check in staff, night staff and day staff were all welcoming, friendly, and I really enjoyed my interactions with them. They also have a very CUTE little library section that you can borrow a book from!! Kids books as well!

The room we stayed in had hair in the bathtub and the sheets were not changed on the bed as there was hair in the bed. Also, the coffee pot was used and never cleaned out as coffee was on the bottom of the carafe and coffee pack was in the basket.

All the front desk staff were VERY helpful and pleasant! However, I stayed in Room 105 and the bathroom was very outdated and dirty. There was built up dirt around the inside edge of the bathroom floor and the shower was not clean or either it was stained, I couldn't tell which. The wallpaper in the bathroom was also peeling off the wall. Basically, the bathroom was unacceptable. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows had a "musty" smell. I used my own pillows that I had brought with me. Also, the parking lot had many cigarette butts and needed to be cleaned. Thanks, Pam Peele

Love that the room had extra living space. It had a living room/sitting area. Also had a table to eat on as well as a desk. Loved the step down into the sleeping area. The room had two tv’s and the couch was also a pull out bed. City view was amazing! Very clean hotel inside and out. Very affordable! Close to a lot of shops and restaurants! The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all! 10/10! Will definitely be back!

Mixed review, because the staff we encountered was friendly and the initial appearance of the hotel was nice- cute little lobby, nicely decorated. I assumed our room would appear similar based on the pictures we saw online when booking. Our room was sadly not really up to par. While it wasn’t dirty, it was just very dingy and uncomfortable. Tile floors, terribly hard mattresses with only two uncomfortable pillows each, poor lighting, and not enough outlets. The hotel’s towel policy needs to be amended. We had 3 people in the room, we should have had 3 towels. We ended up using beach towels! The walls of our room were very thin, and the decor was just… icky. Not cute, very dated. The bathroom was very basic, painted dark blue which wasn’t the best choice as it made it dim, and the mirror was too low. No coffee filters in the room or at the front desk, so the basic amenities in the room couldn’t even be used. We did use the pool and thought it was fine. We only stayed one night and I’m glad we didn’t have a longer stay planned because for almost $200 a night it absolutely wasn’t worth it. I understand that each unit is privately owned but this hotel needs serious updating and all units should be held to the same standard as the lobby. We chose it due to its close proximity to the activities we had planned but if we were to revisit the area in the future we would most likely stay in Beaufort or Morehead City where there are better accommodations.

Initially thought the room was great, but then: the coffee maker had disgusting build up inside the water reservoir which I had to clean myself before using it. People were smoking pot in the room next door causing the entire floor to smell of it, the elevator stopped working multiple times during the stay, and the wifi barely worked. Pros: close to dining and beach music festival and comfy bed

I wish the TVs either had a CD player or streaming options, just a little outdated and small for my taste. I also had no luck connecting to the WiFi but that could’ve just been my phone messing up, we only stayed one night so it wasn’t a big deal. I want to say thanks to Corei, She was very nice and helpful through text when we wanted a few more pillows. Overall a good stay (we came in off season)

When we first arrived everything was fine but later that evening the toilet stopped up and we had to move to another room because maintenance was not on site. Next room had paper thin walls and we could hear conversations from the people on both sides of us as well as the footsteps of whoever was about us. The bathtub was so old and dingy that I thought it was dirty and scrubbed it to make sure it was clean and the tub faucet was so loose I was afraid it was going to break in my attempts to switch to shower mode

The staff was friendly, and everything was clean, but you can hear everyone above below and beside you. My kids were next to the elevator and were woken up all night. It was nice and the staff was doing the best they could, but they definitely needed more staff to support the needs. We were also unaware that each unit is privately owned so not every room is like the others and a lot of things that I thought would be hotel responsibility for passed off on the owners not doing what they were supposed to do. (TV not working correctly, no chairs on our balcony, not being able to fish off the dock, drains not draining)

Safe area with sufficient parking spaces, convenient to restaurants. Room was clean; however, the bed's mattress was uncomfortable. First room had no TV remote and one was given by desk attendant but it didn't work. Was relocated to another room with a nice view; mattress was still uncomfortable. No breakfast but room had a kitchenette. Check-in attendant was a bit rude and the checkout attendant was so friendly.

The staff was amazingly helpful and nice. We got in later than expected 1 am and Marshal was super helpful, got us our room right away. And then texted us several times through out the week to ensure we had everything we needed. Lynn always greeted us with a smile whenever she was there. The room was super clean, the views amazing, and the bed wonderfully comfortable. The Pool was clean and delightful during the hot days of our stay. We will definitely be coming back !
The staff was amazingly helpful and nice. We got in later than expected 1 am and Marshal was super helpful, got us our room right away. And then texted us several times through out the week to ensure we had everything we needed. Lynn always greeted us with a smile whenever she was there. The room was super clean, the views amazing, and the bed wonderfully comfortable. The Pool was clean and delightful during the hot days of our stay. We will definitely be coming back !

First arrived at 4:00pm. Could not check-Iin due to no clean rooms. Received a call around 6:45 stating room was ready. Bed was awful. Felt like it was sleeping on bricks. Manager was super pleasant. Overall it was a decent place to stay.

Sound side balcony view was amazing. Room was clean and decorated beautifully. The check in staff, night staff and day staff were all welcoming, friendly, and I really enjoyed my interactions with them. They also have a very CUTE little library section that you can borrow a book from!! Kids books as well!

Staff was very accommodating; we left something in the room and didn’t realize u til later in the day after check out. When we massaged the property Rachel was able to get the item and keep it in the office u til I could get there this morning! We will definitely stay again!

The manager was rude when my wife went down to ask for a bath towel. My wife had gone to the front desk the day before to ask for extra towels, which they never delivered. The next day she asked the house keeper for an extra towel and she said no they can’t because they’re only allowed two towels per room and we would have to go to the front desk so went to the front desk and the manager was very rude. The housekeeper was horrible because she went into the room that she was cleaning with another housekeeper and started talking crap about my wife as soon as she went in there and very loudly so that my wife could hear her. We will 100% not ever go back to this property and tell everybody to stay away from it unless they fix the management problem.

No towels given and when requested they said we had to bring our dirty towels down first. Sharon was rude and very unhelpful. Our neighbors were load and pretty much got minimal sleep for 2 days. We have stayed there many times in the best and never had any issues. This time not so much. Won’t be going back unfortunately.

Love that the room had extra living space. It had a living room/sitting area. Also had a table to eat on as well as a desk. Loved the step down into the sleeping area. The room had two tv’s and the couch was also a pull out bed. City view was amazing! Very clean hotel inside and out. Very affordable! Close to a lot of shops and restaurants! The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all! 10/10! Will definitely be back!

Nice location, lovely view of back bay, clean facility. Bed lacked firm support, no daily room service, had to exchange towels and get supplies from front desk. Tiled floor got sandy. Nice dock and gazebo.

Our room was very clean, well furnished and had a lovely view of the marsh for peaceful evenings on the patio. The front desk staff is lovely and the hotel is walkable to Atlantic Beach and just a short drive over the bridge to great dining in Morehead City and Beaufort. I will keep this hotel on my list of first choices for the area.

Quick check in, large, clean room with sitting area and nice little balcony on the salt marsh. Easy access to Atlantic Beach & Beaufort. I only have 2 minor complaints. The area around the hotel is a bit run-down and I walked through this a few blocks to get to the road to the public beach access. Walls are thin & I could hear normal conversation next door, but this did not disturb my sleep. Overall I thought the hotel was good - a great value.

My boyfriend and I just come back from staying at the Palm Suites and we really liked it...it was clean and friendly and the room was really cute! The bed was very comfortable and parking was very easy. It was not on the beach but it's about a 3-5 min drive to the beach so that was good..We will be visiting Palm Suites again.

The view from my room is great There is a lot of traffic and it is hard to get in and out of the parking lot and there are no sidewalks along the road so walking around is not very safe

The Palm Suites is in a beautiful venue toward the back, right on the marsh of the Atlantic Beach sound. However, out the front is simple a busy road and walking or biking is not convenient. The hotel is nicely appointed and clean, but not new or elaborate. A good nearby restaurant would also be nice. Hosts and staff were very pleasant and professional.

Safe area with sufficient parking spaces, convenient to restaurants. Room was clean; however, the bed's mattress was uncomfortable. First room had no TV remote and one was given by desk attendant but it didn't work. Was relocated to another room with a nice view; mattress was still uncomfortable. No breakfast but room had a kitchenette. Check-in attendant was a bit rude and the checkout attendant was so friendly.

I loved the property and the condo it was beautiful. Very well cleaned. I loved that there is 2 minutes drive there is Bojangles. There is Food lion. There is Mexican Restaurant right beside Food lion it's called Nachos. There food is spectacular.

We really enjoyed our stay and the layout of the room gave you a little space when you needed it. Very comfortable and convenient to so much. We went into Beaufort one day and took a ferry over to shackleford island another. The beach was really close but it was nice to be overlooking the marsh. We will definitely stay here again.

The unit is in need of updating. Mattress was very worn, saggy and lumpy. Sofa was soiled, stained and I did not sit on it. Drapes were thin, patched in several spots, if lights on inside at night, then persons outside ( at the pool) could see in. TV was not working. Girl at front desk said she could not help with TV. Will not stay there.again.

Overall, okay motel. First, the good stuff. Good location, the pool was nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bad, the room had not been regularly cleaned. There were cobwebs. Also they claim they turn over the rooms once every 3-4 days, which is kind of crazy for the price being charged.
