There is no ac, the pool was closed, the property was adorable and had the nicest flowers. The owners were very nice and you can get a warm breakfast. The beds are comfy.

Very clean accommodations and a very kind and friendly host in Lisa. Nice breakfasts prepared by Lisa in a cozy dining and living room area. We really appreciated the hot tub at the end of a day after a long hike. Great location on the ski hill. The beds themselves need to be updated as they are saggy in the middle and rather uncomfortable.

When I first drove up I was disappointed--the view from the front is not very appealing, being on a resort access road. However, I was quickly won over by the cozy common room, my attractively quaint and clean room, the very comfortable bed, and the charming back garden and pond (complete with 2 goose families). The hosts were attentive but not intrusive and offered good advice about local attractions. The nearby town had a few decent restaurants and there were a number of interesting outdoor places to explore within a 30 min drive.

The property was cute and breakfast was ok. They made it clear this is not a place for kids, which was off putting. We advised their were additional people (our 4 and 6yr old) so they could charge us, and the made a big deal of that and we’re basically rude (originally we went bringing them. A breakfast sandwich was offered to my husband but not a word to the me or my kids. Overall comfortable place but the owners were not nice (mostly the husband)

We had a phenomenal stay. The room was perfect, super cozy and super soft sheets. Breakfast was home cooked and always fresh coffee with breakfast. Lisa and Ken were super nice and made our stay feel like visiting family. Can’t wait to go back.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and it was a quiet spot. The breakfast in the morning was just enough to fuel me for the day ahead along with great coffee. The only downside was the room tv was the size of a small computer screen.

The Gentian Lodge is an absolute gem with the ambiance of a quaint lodge in the German mountains. The rooms were cute and comfortable and the breakfast service and staff are top-notch. Did I mention the beautiful and ornate Xmas display? Can't wait to visit next year!

Very clean accommodations and a very kind and friendly host in Lisa. Nice breakfasts prepared by Lisa in a cozy dining and living room area. We really appreciated the hot tub at the end of a day after a long hike. Great location on the ski hill. The beds themselves need to be updated as they are saggy in the middle and rather uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Gentian Inn! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. If you need air conditioning, it may be a challenge if the weather is hot. The fan in the room was satisfactory to us. We couldn't use the pool as it rained for our stay, but its location in full mountain view is ideal. All rooms have a mountain view.

It is a lovely beautiful place, we visited at the end of snow season but I bet that this place is beautiful in fall foliage, summer and winter! Me and my best friend stayed at this amazing, cozy and family owned lodge and we will definitely be back we our friends and family. Lisa is very sweet, attentive and has two beautiful cats.
