Brae Loch Inn

Whether a person has had an opportunity to travel to Scotland or not, visiting the Brae Lock Inn will provide a glimpse into that country very well! Old world furniture, plaid rugs, Scottie dog ornaments and bag pipes over the fireplace add so much charm to this quaint Inn. All staff are warm, welcoming and efficient. Our bedroom was nice and clean , an added touch was chocolate mints laid strategically throughout the room! The four poster canopy bed seemed right at home as if in a Scottish castle! Our dining experience was wonderful too - great food and ambiance. Included in our stay was a beautifully prepared breakfast of pastries that seemed to be prepared on site. Blueberry scones, breakfast pizza, apple strudel & blueberry coffee cake to name just a few items! All delicious, with a lovely presentation near the fireplace. Located directly across the street from a beautiful park with a pristine lake, a great setting to take a mini vacation or a longer one! As an added bonus, it is pet friendly & we made friends with several four legged guests as well as the two legged ones!

The Brae Loch is a unique place to stay in. Their rooms have old world charm but are very up to date. The room was very comfortable. The whole place has a very welcoming atmosphere. The included breakfast has a nice variety of choices. The dinners are excellent and tasty.

Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.

Very clean room staff went above n beyond to help with any needs the continental breakfast absolutely delicious as well as the dinner we had the night before ! Very friendly staff . Atmosphere very calm n quiet n peaceful in there ! Highly recommend the Brae Loch Inn
