Amazing hotel — 10/10! Thoughtful service, great breakfast, and lots of small details that made our stay special. We were welcomed with a drink, and our toddler was warmly received too. Cozy, clean pool with sunscreen and drinks provided. Blackout curtains were a lifesaver for summer sleep. Perfect location, walking distance to the Old Town. Would definitely stay again!

Marija was fabulous! She is an expert on all things Croatia and had an answer for every one of our many questions. She was so friendly, helpful and kind and seemed to genuinely love her job. Our room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was incredible. We reserved a parking spot ahead of time which is recommended. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the palace.

One of the best places I have stayed in quite a while! Rooms were very nice and comfortable, great bathroom with plenty of hot water, very effective air conditioning. The breakfast was amazing - a tower of goodies for each table and you can order from the kitchen (great omelette). Marija was an excellent host, one of the best - great recommendations and so helpful!

I have never stayed at a property with better customer service. Parking could have been a challenge, but the staff was waiting at the door when we arrived and directed us to a secure location very close to the hotel. Communications ahead of the visit were perfect and the location could not have been better.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, sparkling clean with delicious breakfast. Their parking is close by - very convenient if you have a car and want to be by the old town. No elevator, but easy accessible. Thank you

We have just spent 3 nights at Splendida Palace and what an amazing boutique hotel. It is located up a small quiet road where we were allocated a private parking space. We were greeted by Marija, a very happy and positive person who speaks very good English. She gave us lots of tips on where to visit which were really useful. She also provided us with a cellphone with useful numbers including hers in case of an emergency. The room (303) was amazing. Large and airy, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is good too with a great shower and complimentary soaps etc. outside is a small courtyard area with a pool, ideal for taking the sting out of the heat. We were given complimentary biscuits and fruit and waitress service for drinks. Breakfast is amazing with almost everything you could want with eggs or crepes cooked to order. Miheala was amazing too, always happy and helpful. We hired a boat and so a breakfast bag was made up for us which was huge and covered lunch too! Nothing was too much trouble and the staff made you feel special. The location is a very short walk to the Old Town and marina so perfect. I can see why this hotel has such great reviews. Nothing but positives. Thank you

This is such a cute place. Maija the head lady who you see in my picture is so nice and accommodating! The breakfast was amazing. Felt like I was in Paris with what they served. The staff was incredibly friendly. Was not too fond of their pool. It was more like a dunking straight into deep water other than that we are definitely coming back to stay here.

We stayed at the Splendida Palace in May 2025. Our itinerary only allowed for two nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the old town and Roman ruins, the harbor, and dozens of great restaurants. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our breakfast each morning was incredible and included with the room. We highly recommend Splendida Palace!!

Absolutely wonderful experience. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Great care and attention to detail in the rooms and decor. They upgraded my room and it was beautiful and spotless. The breakfast was huge and delicious with great service. Honey from the concierges familyl. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend this lovely hotel.

Great hotel in a fantastic location close to the Old town but in a quiet area. Exceptionally clean and well maintained , our room was excellent , the AC worked superbly and did not keep us awake. Marija and Mihaela were superb hosts and so helpful from before our arrival right up to our departure. I have stayed in many hotels for leisure and business and I would definitely rate this as one of the best experiences.

This is a great place to stay! Every member of the staff is friendly and attentive to our needs. The facility is extremely clean, has an amazing breakfast included in the room price. Although it was just a block away from the palace, it was very quiet and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Loved our stay at Splendida Palace. The staff goes above and beyond. They really care. Dea at the front desk was fantastic and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the old town, in a quiet street but a few minutes walk from the center of town. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and super clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Amazing place to stay. Very clean and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended for a stay in Split and only a 10 minute walk from the ferry. Breakfast beautifully presented on a three tier cake stand and all very tasty. My wife even received a complimentary bottle of wine for her birthday!

The hotel is charming. The staff is so welcoming and couldn’t say enough about them. We stayed in a room that had many stairs.. I was aware that was the room I selected when I made the reservation, The staff managed our luggage. Breakfast was delicious. I will be returning to Split and stay with them again. The room was immaculate and spacious.

Maria and the staff is wonderful. They will go out of their way to have your stay memorable. The hotel is small and quaint. The breakfast was faboulous, like having your own chef! The rooms are small, like most others in boutique hotels in Europe. The only negative was hearing people walk by the hotel in the evenings for sleeping. I would suggest ear plugs, but we would definitely stay there again!!! Thanks Maria :)

Splendida was a fabulous hotel in the heart of Split. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent experience. The included breakfast was the best and our room was spacious with a large balcony. The area the hotel is located in is dirty, however--no fault of the hotel!

Perfect boutique hotel in the centre of town. Very short walk to the old town. Rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again if passing through Split.

Splendida Palace was wonderful! The owners were extremely kind and helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and he made sure to greet us with welcome drinks. He also arranged for a super early airport transfer so we didn’t have to worry about Uber showing up. The room and hotel are beautiful. You can tell that the owners are very proud of it. The bed was amazing - it was the best one we came across after travelling for 9 days in Croatia and Bosnia. Highly recommend!

Could not recommend more highly - impeccable service, they really go above and beyond. Our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Location great, local restaurants great, hotel room great but what made the real difference was Marija & the rest of the team. Nothing was too much trouble for Marija, she recommended some excellent restaurants, things to do, sites to see both locally & further afield. The whole experience was excellent thanks to Marija & would thoroughly recommend this hotel!! Four star hotel with five star service!!

We have just spent 3 nights at Splendida Palace and what an amazing boutique hotel. It is located up a small quiet road where we were allocated a private parking space. We were greeted by Marija, a very happy and positive person who speaks very good English. She gave us lots of tips on where to visit which were really useful. She also provided us with a cellphone with useful numbers including hers in case of an emergency. The room (303) was amazing. Large and airy, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is good too with a great shower and complimentary soaps etc. outside is a small courtyard area with a pool, ideal for taking the sting out of the heat. We were given complimentary biscuits and fruit and waitress service for drinks. Breakfast is amazing with almost everything you could want with eggs or crepes cooked to order. Miheala was amazing too, always happy and helpful. We hired a boat and so a breakfast bag was made up for us which was huge and covered lunch too! Nothing was too much trouble and the staff made you feel special. The location is a very short walk to the Old Town and marina so perfect. I can see why this hotel has such great reviews. Nothing but positives. Thank you

This hotel was fantastic and our favorite one of our entire trip to Croatia. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was amazing!! They greated us at our arrival with a cherry liquor and even gave us a cell phone with their reception phone number preprogrammed so we could reach them 24/7 if needed. Their breakfast was incredible, they had a 3 story sampler plates with fruits cheeses bread jam and pastries and we got to order a hot breakfast on top of all that. Everything was superbe amd they made our stay very special and memorable

This was probably the best places I’ve ever stayed. The service was exceptional and I couldn’t fault a thing. The small little extras really made our stay memorable. Diana was so friendly and a very nice face to see after such a bad experience at another hotel. We booked this last minute and I’m so glad we did. The breakfast was next level and the lady serving was so lovely and attentive. If you are wondering whether to book, just do it!

Amazing hotel — 10/10! Thoughtful service, great breakfast, and lots of small details that made our stay special. We were welcomed with a drink, and our toddler was warmly received too. Cozy, clean pool with sunscreen and drinks provided. Blackout curtains were a lifesaver for summer sleep. Perfect location, walking distance to the Old Town. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Splendida Palace in May 2025. Our itinerary only allowed for two nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the old town and Roman ruins, the harbor, and dozens of great restaurants. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our breakfast each morning was incredible and included with the room. We highly recommend Splendida Palace!!

Great hotel in a fantastic location close to the Old town but in a quiet area. Exceptionally clean and well maintained , our room was excellent , the AC worked superbly and did not keep us awake. Marija and Mihaela were superb hosts and so helpful from before our arrival right up to our departure. I have stayed in many hotels for leisure and business and I would definitely rate this as one of the best experiences.

Wow wow et wow! D’abord il faut savoir que c’est un petit hôtel de 10 chambres, donc plus un Bed and Breakfast, qu’un hôtel. Mais quel service!! 6 étoiles!! Tout d’abord le personnel est incroyable, tous souriants et ils offrent un service de première qualité. La chambre est très spacieuse. L’emplacement est parfait à 5 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. Le petit déjeuner est formidable avec un grand choix de plats et c’est excellent! J’ai rarement vu des employés aussi avenants que ceux du Splendida Palace. Ils méritent une note de 12 sur 10. A recommander sans aucune hésitation.

Splendida was a fabulous hotel in the heart of Split. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent experience. The included breakfast was the best and our room was spacious with a large balcony. The area the hotel is located in is dirty, however--no fault of the hotel!

One of the best places I have stayed in quite a while! Rooms were very nice and comfortable, great bathroom with plenty of hot water, very effective air conditioning. The breakfast was amazing - a tower of goodies for each table and you can order from the kitchen (great omelette). Marija was an excellent host, one of the best - great recommendations and so helpful!

Wonderful big room and bathroom and the best breakfast we have ever had!! amazing choice. We got lost arriving and the girls at reception were just wonderful, she left someone in charge and went out to our car and got in with my husband to show him the way to parking, she was amazing.

This is such a cute place. Maija the head lady who you see in my picture is so nice and accommodating! The breakfast was amazing. Felt like I was in Paris with what they served. The staff was incredibly friendly. Was not too fond of their pool. It was more like a dunking straight into deep water other than that we are definitely coming back to stay here.

Fantastic property; great location in walking distance from the old town, parking available right next door to the hotel, staff was extremely helpful even before we arrived there and had given some great directions to get to the hotel but also take the ferry to Hvar. Last but not least, the breakfast was phenomenal. No wonder this hotel is consistently rated very high.
