We loved our two-day stay here. It's conveniently located outside the walls of Lucca but close enough to easily walk to the historic district. Parking was safe and secure behind a gated wall. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts phenomenal. This is a perfect place to stay if you're visiting the wonderful medieval city of Lucca.

I liked everything. The Host is really nice & helpful. She gave us recommendations for where to eat in Lucca & where to park in Pisa. The breakfast was a feast. The B&B is beautiful & decorated with antiques. They have free parking in a private courtyard & a big flower garden that the guests are welcome to enjoy. My wife & son did art in the garden & loved it. The family that runs the place is very nice & welcoming. If we come back to Lucca we will stay here for sure.

Nous sommes restés une seule nuit et avons eu la sensation d’avoir été accueillis comme des invités privilégiés. Parking dans l’établissement, super chambre, à 10-15 min du centre ville de Lucca, nous avons reçu des recommandations pour des restaurants par la responsable de l’hébergement. Et au réveil, un excellent petit déjeuner encore meilleur que dans un hôtel avec produits frais et de qualité. Nous sommes ravis d’avoir fait cette étape dans ce B&B et reviendrons avec plaisir si on passe dans le coin ! N’hésitez pas à réserver ça vaut le coup! Merci encore de l’accueil 🙏

What a beautiful place to begin our trip through Italy. Only a 3-5 min walk to central old town and tucked away on a very quiet little street, this place has it all. Parking inside the walls (the place used to be a convent for nuns), an upscale room, so much breakfast we couldn’t eat it all, and sweet proprietors (multiple languages spoken here- we needed English). The gates and doors are keyed so you are free to come and go as you like without checking in and out and the place was spotless. Owners live in the small home on the property next door but were alway around when when needed help. The courtyard and breakfast area is lush with greenery and birds are everywhere. Note that this booking feels like a small inclusive mix between hotel (amenities) and b&b with the a local family. -Great mix! Lucca’s old city is a very short straight walk away- we rented a bike to explore town on the proprietor’s suggestion and loved every min of our time here! I highly recommend this location. Ask them to tell you of the history here too. We will be back here in the future.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, wir haben sogar Wein von der Inhaberin kostenlos serviert bekommen als wir im schönen Garten saßen. Großes Zimmer, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, sehr sauber, Stadt schnell zu Fuß erreichbar, sehr gute Essenstipps, hervorragendes Frühstück (Wahl zwischen süßes italienisches oder herzhaftes Frühstück). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Nur die Betten waren etwas unbequem (harte Matratzen).

This is a fabulous B&B, very warm and VERY welcoming. It’s family run and all members of the family are just so very kind and so very generous in their hospitality that I would never even dream of staying anywhere else on any visit to Lucca. It is spotlessly clean, the rooms are comfortable and the shower was great. It has a beautiful garden that must be something really special in the summer, and perfect for an evening apperitivo after a day of walking the city. The breakfast pastries, well, just look at the picture - in a word, delicious!!! It is absolutely everything you need. My wife and I and our 13 year old son just loved it.

Excepcional, quarto grande, muito limpo e maravilhoso. Localização otima, 15 min a pé da entrada da muralha e possui estacionamento interno. Café da manhã maravilhoso e atendimento da Costanza e familia nota 10... fez nos sentir em casa. Super recomendo e se retornar a Lucca ficarei neste B&B.

We loved our two-day stay here. It's conveniently located outside the walls of Lucca but close enough to easily walk to the historic district. Parking was safe and secure behind a gated wall. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts phenomenal. This is a perfect place to stay if you're visiting the wonderful medieval city of Lucca.

I liked everything. The Host is really nice & helpful. She gave us recommendations for where to eat in Lucca & where to park in Pisa. The breakfast was a feast. The B&B is beautiful & decorated with antiques. They have free parking in a private courtyard & a big flower garden that the guests are welcome to enjoy. My wife & son did art in the garden & loved it. The family that runs the place is very nice & welcoming. If we come back to Lucca we will stay here for sure.

This B&B is a great choice for a stay in beautiful Lucca. The hosts are fantastic. Friendly. Helpful. Knowledgeable. They feel like friends straight away. Apart from the wonderful service, I have to mention the amazing breakfasts..so much delicious local food, its an absolute treat. Highly recommend.

Het was een leuke ervaring, we kwamen in de avond aan en er werd op ons gewacht. We krgen een vriendelijke uitleg en er werd een uitstekend restaurantje voor ons gereserveerd. Ontbijt was prima!

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, wir haben sogar Wein von der Inhaberin kostenlos serviert bekommen als wir im schönen Garten saßen. Großes Zimmer, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, sehr sauber, Stadt schnell zu Fuß erreichbar, sehr gute Essenstipps, hervorragendes Frühstück (Wahl zwischen süßes italienisches oder herzhaftes Frühstück). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Nur die Betten waren etwas unbequem (harte Matratzen).

Boendet var väldigt mysigt, låg på en lugn gata och det fanns en stor trädgård. Väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma ägare. Mysigt frukost med fantastiskt goda croissanter. Kunde inte haft det bättre.

Nous sommes restés une seule nuit et avons eu la sensation d’avoir été accueillis comme des invités privilégiés. Parking dans l’établissement, super chambre, à 10-15 min du centre ville de Lucca, nous avons reçu des recommandations pour des restaurants par la responsable de l’hébergement. Et au réveil, un excellent petit déjeuner encore meilleur que dans un hôtel avec produits frais et de qualité. Nous sommes ravis d’avoir fait cette étape dans ce B&B et reviendrons avec plaisir si on passe dans le coin ! N’hésitez pas à réserver ça vaut le coup! Merci encore de l’accueil 🙏

What a beautiful place to begin our trip through Italy. Only a 3-5 min walk to central old town and tucked away on a very quiet little street, this place has it all. Parking inside the walls (the place used to be a convent for nuns), an upscale room, so much breakfast we couldn’t eat it all, and sweet proprietors (multiple languages spoken here- we needed English). The gates and doors are keyed so you are free to come and go as you like without checking in and out and the place was spotless. Owners live in the small home on the property next door but were alway around when when needed help. The courtyard and breakfast area is lush with greenery and birds are everywhere. Note that this booking feels like a small inclusive mix between hotel (amenities) and b&b with the a local family. -Great mix! Lucca’s old city is a very short straight walk away- we rented a bike to explore town on the proprietor’s suggestion and loved every min of our time here! I highly recommend this location. Ask them to tell you of the history here too. We will be back here in the future.

Rigtig hyggeligt bed & breakfast med kun 3 værelser. Beliggende 20 min gang fra Lucca. Fantastiske værter, der gjorde alt for at gøre vores ophold så godt som muligt. Super morgenmad. Stedet kan varmt anbefales.

We stayed two nights in this lovely bed and breakfast. The room was spacious and well furnished. It was very clean and so quiet at night. It is located a little walk outside the city walls, for us just the right distance from the city center. Costanza ( the owner) and her family were so nice and helpful! She and her mother served us a wonderful breakfast in such a cosy breakfast place. We had a mix of 'sweet and salted' breakfast that is highly recommended! The cappuccino was also lovely..We were full for hours, ate too much of all the delicious food :-). Lucca is a lovely town, and we will for sure stay at Costanza's place next time visiting Lucca!

This property exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was more than plentiful with delicious items baked by the owner. Our host Costanza was helpful and gave us great recommendations for dinner. A great experience. Wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend.

We were made to feel so welcome by the lovely family that runs this B&B. The room we stayed in is large, comfortable and separate from the main residence. The breakfast was brilliant and an event in itself! There is plenty of parking if needed and a large garden to sit out in. Set in a quiet residential area it is a 10 minute walk to the edge of the historic centre. Highly recommended.

The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache as my base to explore Tuscany. In short, our experience was absolutely wonder. A top notch B&B
