Really nice location, plenty of parking available. Nice pub and accommodation. Staff are very attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was good quality, service was very good. Breakfast was very good. Room was good. The only slight negative, and I hate to add that it seems to be common with all hotels, is that the cups were very small for tea / coffee. I'm sure if we'd asked they would have had some decent sized mugs? Overall, you can't go wrong, clean, beautiful surroundings, great service, great food and well located!!

Nice room and breakfast was good but i stayed for work and wanted somewhere with a restaurant. I clicked that option on Hotels.com and they do have a restaurant but it was not open on Mondays so effectively no restaurant. If Id known this I would not have stayed there as I do not like to have to go out again to find a meal after a long journey.

Faboulous Hotel. Friendly helpful Staff. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms. Filter coffee and shortbread biscuits in room on arrival nice touch. Restaurant serving Excellent food and amazing breakfast. Defiantly going back and would recommend 100%

Cute boutique rooms and lovely little courtyard. For me the room was far too hot and the air conditioning didn’t work, I just had a fan in the room, it would of been better for them to close the blind and open the window to try and stop it getting as hot. The toiletries are very basic, basically a br of soap. Coffee and biscuits were lovely. They don’t serve food on a Monday but there are places to go if you have. a car to drive to them.

Ample car parking. Warm welcome when checking in. The staff are very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The ambience in the bar / restaurant was wonderful. The food was excellent. Will definitely be back . Highly recommend.

Fantastic food, lovely staff. Fantastic hotel room for the price. Modern and spacious. Quiet and the room even included a fan to stay cool. If i was being picky the only thing I found could be improved is cleanliness, there was a used straw in our room, the fan was very dusty and the decorative pillows and blanket was grubby. Overall though very lovely stay. I'd definitely recommend and I'm sure we will be back again. Food is fantastic and the breakfast was lovely. Thank you!

A very pleasant location using an old building which has been tastefully restored along with additional buildings added in keeping with the original. Very pleasant and helpful staff and all areas in good condition. The duvets were a bit heavy for the time of year and rooms lacking suitable seats. A few areas in the bathroom needed slightly more attention to cleaning where some bits had been missed. Other than that it is good value and recommended.

It is good value and competitive for the rate, however it felt a little tired, primarily because the bathroom was full of cob webs, mould and bathroom furniture was water damage. I stayed in a Jack and Jill room also and there was absolutely no acoustic privacy with next door, we could hear each other perfectly clear. Which limited privacy for telephone calls. Thankfully my neighbour was quiet enough. Overall the room also felt a little unclean. That may be a little picky, but that is how I felt upon leaving the property and unfortunately I would not choose to go back.

One major problem "Door"! You easily get disturb anytime of the day when some one coming in or going out. When people come for holiday, they don't want a early 6am wake up because of the stupid type of lock the door has. The room is nice but please keep up with maintenance, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately mould is stubborn but sort it out.

Booked the deluxe double room which stated there would be a king size bed. Arrived to find it was two twin sized beds pushed together. Hotel was fully booked so no chance of a room change. Very uncomfortable, barely got any sleep. Rooms are also adjoined and not very quiet, you can hear everything going on outside.

A very pleasant stay but didn’t get to sleep until 2am due to work. Woken up before 6am by the sound of a pump in the building, which sounded like a hammer. Food was tasty and service excellent.

Nice place to stay, room was clean, modern and comfortable. The mixer shower wasn’t great, it was difficult to find that sweet spot without it getting too hot or too cold. Dining was fantastic however the service was a little slow but it was during the weekend peak hours. Would stay again if in the area.

From the moment we arrived at this wonderful hotel we were treated with so much care and respect. The staff, from reception to kitchen etc couldn’t do enough for us. Everything about the hotel was great, we can’t wait to arrange our next stay here. I would say it’s probably one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

Was here at a 60th Food was lovely at the function & breakfast was just as nice. Lovely room & have to say all the staff we spoke with so nice, professional and went above & beyond for sure. Highly recommended

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious with lovely views across Cheshire & North Wales. Food was awesome, and the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Lovely country pub with olde worlde feel in restaurant and boutique style bar area. Will use again in the future.

Really nice location, plenty of parking available. Nice pub and accommodation. Staff are very attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was good quality, service was very good. Breakfast was very good. Room was good. The only slight negative, and I hate to add that it seems to be common with all hotels, is that the cups were very small for tea / coffee. I'm sure if we'd asked they would have had some decent sized mugs? Overall, you can't go wrong, clean, beautiful surroundings, great service, great food and well located!!

A very pleasant location using an old building which has been tastefully restored along with additional buildings added in keeping with the original. Very pleasant and helpful staff and all areas in good condition. The duvets were a bit heavy for the time of year and rooms lacking suitable seats. A few areas in the bathroom needed slightly more attention to cleaning where some bits had been missed. Other than that it is good value and recommended.

The hotel is a lovely little place with a bar/restaurant and is a stones throw away from local amenities such as Tattenhall and Wrexham. The accommodation is great and real value for money! Will be coming again.

Nice room and breakfast was good but i stayed for work and wanted somewhere with a restaurant. I clicked that option on Hotels.com and they do have a restaurant but it was not open on Mondays so effectively no restaurant. If Id known this I would not have stayed there as I do not like to have to go out again to find a meal after a long journey.

Faboulous Hotel. Friendly helpful Staff. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms. Filter coffee and shortbread biscuits in room on arrival nice touch. Restaurant serving Excellent food and amazing breakfast. Defiantly going back and would recommend 100%

Nice place to stay, room was clean, modern and comfortable. The mixer shower wasn’t great, it was difficult to find that sweet spot without it getting too hot or too cold. Dining was fantastic however the service was a little slow but it was during the weekend peak hours. Would stay again if in the area.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay.
