Great location on Lake Michigan. We really liked the improvements they're doing along the bluff. The sandy area on the bottom plateau along with the fire pit area are great improvements.

Very nice hotel room and facility. Very clean. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Great outdoor pool and a separate pool for children. The town of South Haven was great for dining and shopping.

Overall, nice property but the rooms were basically just a place to sleep and shower. Very small and dated. Not many electrical outlets and if you need wifi it’s not great, even if you use their shared network. It was clean however, and the property does have grounds with a swimming pool and fitness equipment. No real water access to Lake Michigan, as an elevated bed of sand backs up to a tall, rocky bank. Overall, it reminded us somewhat of a summer camp than a hotel. South Haven is a quick drive down the road though, so we chose to spend our time in town and just come back to sleep.

Patio, hottub, lakeview The view of the lake was amazing the swimming area was closed off the entire time we were there unfortunately. The only thing that is weird is the parking lot is very small and if alot of cars are there you may get stuck depending on where you park

I had to wait for awhile at reception, 6-7 minutes. There was a sign that someone would be right back. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Looked newly renovated, i had a sunny corner room, kitchenette with coffeemaker, comfy bed. No breakfast offered; i was told that stopped during covid. The grounds are nice, lovely Lakeside setting with lounge chairs. I also swam laps in the pool. There was slimy stuff on the walls of the pool - maybe mold? I trust that the chlorine kept me safe. Its end of season, so likely the pool will be drained soon for scrubbing.

We stayed in a two bedroom queen with a small kitchen in between them. It was a little dated, (I think some units have been updated and some haven't yet) but it was clean and mostly comfortable. My husband hit his head on the fireplace mantle because it is a bit of a tight squeeze to walk between the mantle and end of the bed. The property is very beautiful, with great views of the lake, a cute playground and sandbox for my granddaughter, twon no-frills pools (but more than adequate) and a large grassy play area great for outdoor games. Staff was very friendly. I thought the price was a little high but maybe comparable to other South Haven properties on Labor Day weekend. I would definitely stay here again!

Large property but not kept up. My room was dirty, had previous guests toiletries still in shower, TV did not work. Called their promised “24” hour number but no response. Blue light object ( WiFi?) positioned right over bed. Very bright, couldn’t be turned off; disturbed sleep. Next morning front door sign says “office closed” with realtor lock box on door knob and large box blocking door. Very odd. I’d like a refund!

Our room was the worst room I have every rented. I’ve traveled across the entire United States. The door didn’t shut properly and didn’t latch safely. The vertical blinds were broken and two slates were on the floor. Heater control knob was missing and was so discussing we didn’t even shower the next morning, just got out of there. The room was unprepared for occupancy. The pictures I saw online were not the room we got. Cost $200.00 per night. Don’t go there!!

Property is currently under renovation and we booked an older room, not yet updated. Though older, it was clean and comfortable. We wish we had more time to enjoy the sunset over Lake Michigan. The property is very nice and well maintained.

The outside is what they have worked on in the last year. The inside of the rooms is what needs a servere update. Furniture is old dated and my hip was killing me the next day after sleeping on the bed.

Love the location! Gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Close drive to downtown South Haven. It is easy parking. It was quiet. Room could be updated a bit and our TV did not work. Internet was hard to get. I could not even get the hotel internet in our room.

There was no lock on the back back patio door. The bathroom door did not latch nor lock. Tv was not a 60 inch like stated in room info also did not have Netflix or Hulu as stated. The fire place did not work. None of the exhaust fans worked. The vending machine outside was $3 and the job expired in November 2023.

This was our fourth visit to Lake Bluff. The View and sunsets are always amazing. There were a lot of little things that took away from the value. Loud plumbing, thin walls, the sprinklers sprayed the patio and chairs preventing sitting outside our room.

This place is so-so. The Wi-Fi never worked. The tv kept going out & you would have to get up & mess with the wire to make it work again. The ladies at the front desk tried their best to help. For the price I expected it to be a bit nicer & not have ripped, dingy carpeting. The scenery is nice. I wouldn't stay again.

It's a good space with plenty of potential. There were some mechanical issues with the fireplace. Maintenance did come in a very timely manner to turn it on. Unfortunately it wouldn't turn off so the room turned into a sauna. Lol. The water wouldn't get hot for the shower or jacuzzi. A bit of a bummer but it was warm enough. All in all pleased with our stay as a little weekend getaway. Not sure if we'll return, but I would possibly recommend it to others. Just be sure to keep an open mind and reasonable expectations.

The location of this inn is scenic looking out the Michigan Lake on top of a bluff. This was the reason why my wife and I decided to stay in this inn. But we had a very unpleasant check in experience. The room that was given to us was NOT the one that we paid to hotels.com. We booked and paid for an upscale lake-view room having a jacuzzi and a view to the lake. The room that was given to us had no jacuzzi, no view to the lake, and dilapidated interior facilities and stinking smell. When I talked to the receptionist that a wrong room was given to us, she replied that when guests book an upgraded room through a third party booking sites such as hotels.com, they still get the cheapest room. A total nonsense. And she said that to get an upgraded room, like one I paid for, I must paid an up-charge. Not to stay a night in a stinking room and to ruin a vacation, I paid the upcharge to get a room that I already paid. A bitter experience. The photos below are the cheap room given to us initially.

the room was not we expected outdated and small the beds were extremely uncomfortable the tv reception was absolutely awful the garbage can outside was constantly overflowing flowing the front desk staff were pleasant the access to the beach was not easy and when they say beach it’s a downhill walk which is very tricky and it basically leads to a bunch of lounge chairs the view of the lake is excellent but overall was not worth the money the ground floor rooms should be advertised as motel rooms the pictures on the site are misleading

Great location, right next to Lake Michigan and only minutes to a beach. Everyone was very nice. Had a small issue with the fireplace at 9pm and someone came over and took care of it right away. We will definitely be back.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly woman at the desk. Extremely helpful and kind. The room (although slightly dated) was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Perfect water views for sunset watching. Settled off the beaten path with a quiet surrounding that is perfect for relaxing. And just a short drive into town for shopping and restaurants. We loved our short stay. Definitely planning another stay in the future.

Large property but not kept up. My room was dirty, had previous guests toiletries still in shower, TV did not work. Called their promised “24” hour number but no response. Blue light object ( WiFi?) positioned right over bed. Very bright, couldn’t be turned off; disturbed sleep. Next morning front door sign says “office closed” with realtor lock box on door knob and large box blocking door. Very odd. I’d like a refund!

GREAT experience! Stayed 3 nights. Incredible views, especially sunset...friendly helpful staff...just a few minutes from town. Older place, but beds were comfortable and everything worked perfectly. We'll be back and next time bring the rest of the family.

This property is under new ownership and they are amazing. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The views are stunning and the sunsets over lake Michigan are breathtaking. This is the place to stay in South Haven.

The location of this inn is scenic looking out the Michigan Lake on top of a bluff. This was the reason why my wife and I decided to stay in this inn. But we had a very unpleasant check in experience. The room that was given to us was NOT the one that we paid to hotels.com. We booked and paid for an upscale lake-view room having a jacuzzi and a view to the lake. The room that was given to us had no jacuzzi, no view to the lake, and dilapidated interior facilities and stinking smell. When I talked to the receptionist that a wrong room was given to us, she replied that when guests book an upgraded room through a third party booking sites such as hotels.com, they still get the cheapest room. A total nonsense. And she said that to get an upgraded room, like one I paid for, I must paid an up-charge. Not to stay a night in a stinking room and to ruin a vacation, I paid the upcharge to get a room that I already paid. A bitter experience. The photos below are the cheap room given to us initially.

Love the location! Gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Close drive to downtown South Haven. It is easy parking. It was quiet. Room could be updated a bit and our TV did not work. Internet was hard to get. I could not even get the hotel internet in our room.

Great location on Lake Michigan. We really liked the improvements they're doing along the bluff. The sandy area on the bottom plateau along with the fire pit area are great improvements.

Overall, nice property but the rooms were basically just a place to sleep and shower. Very small and dated. Not many electrical outlets and if you need wifi it’s not great, even if you use their shared network. It was clean however, and the property does have grounds with a swimming pool and fitness equipment. No real water access to Lake Michigan, as an elevated bed of sand backs up to a tall, rocky bank. Overall, it reminded us somewhat of a summer camp than a hotel. South Haven is a quick drive down the road though, so we chose to spend our time in town and just come back to sleep.

Great location, right next to Lake Michigan and only minutes to a beach. Everyone was very nice. Had a small issue with the fireplace at 9pm and someone came over and took care of it right away. We will definitely be back.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly woman at the desk. Extremely helpful and kind. The room (although slightly dated) was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Perfect water views for sunset watching. Settled off the beaten path with a quiet surrounding that is perfect for relaxing. And just a short drive into town for shopping and restaurants. We loved our short stay. Definitely planning another stay in the future.

the room was not we expected outdated and small the beds were extremely uncomfortable the tv reception was absolutely awful the garbage can outside was constantly overflowing flowing the front desk staff were pleasant the access to the beach was not easy and when they say beach it’s a downhill walk which is very tricky and it basically leads to a bunch of lounge chairs the view of the lake is excellent but overall was not worth the money the ground floor rooms should be advertised as motel rooms the pictures on the site are misleading

For one thing it shows Lake Michigan butts up to it but you can’t access it from there. There is a 70’ drop and you have to drive down town to access it. Second thing. A storm came through that was really bad and they lost electricity. But no generators. Non! Ppl next to us swearing and hanging out the door ppl in the United across the way we’re fighting loudly and it scared my granddaughters. I went in to see when they expected the electric to go back on and this guy made the call and it surely wasn’t something the company he was talking to was planning on in that area anytime soon. Soo I told them I was leaving. Wanted a refund. With ppl going crazy in the area and no lights I wasn’t planning on staying. She said they don’t give refunds. I guess I should have read the fine print. I told her the kids were unsafe there and they couldn’t expect ppl to stay if there was no electric. No toilet can’t flush no lights. Had no idea when they’d come back on. I want a refund. I’m not going back. Expensive for not having a beach. And it made us all uncomfortable.

Very nice hotel room and facility. Very clean. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Great outdoor pool and a separate pool for children. The town of South Haven was great for dining and shopping.

I had to wait for awhile at reception, 6-7 minutes. There was a sign that someone would be right back. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Looked newly renovated, i had a sunny corner room, kitchenette with coffeemaker, comfy bed. No breakfast offered; i was told that stopped during covid. The grounds are nice, lovely Lakeside setting with lounge chairs. I also swam laps in the pool. There was slimy stuff on the walls of the pool - maybe mold? I trust that the chlorine kept me safe. Its end of season, so likely the pool will be drained soon for scrubbing.

This was a great experience we had a room with double beds which we didn't mine, they had a game room, workout room, outdoor pool , and last but not lease the amazing water beach view that was amazing to watch the sunset then had a bomb fire after. My partner and I were able to grill TBONE steaks outside of our room and enjoy the view, while we listened to music off our Bluetooth speaker we took. I will definitely do a stay here again close to Sout,North Haven and everything we wanted to see. Best recommendations

Amazing hotel with incredible views. Front desk team was very helpful and friendly. Fixed a couple of steaks on one of the grills overlooking lake MI. Relaxed in my whirlpool tub overlooking the lake. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace and tranquility.

We got a suite and paid 500 a night for it. Immediately noticed the fireplace didn't work and asked staff to help. They didn't fix it, and there was no communication as to why it didn't get fixed. We had no hot water for our showers the WHOLE time. Didn't even bother to ask the staff to fix it because after the 1st problem they made it very clear they did not seem to care about helping their customers. We just took unbearably cold showers. Room was semi-dirty when we got there. Furniture and blinds were all beat up. Grass and weeds were overgrown everywhere. There was 3 inches of ice buildup in our freezer which made it unusable. 2 out of the 3 nights people were having very loud fiestas outside in their pool and commons area with very loud music and loud people past 3AM, and it was being allowed to happen. It was so loud it woke us from a dead sleep. Tried to use the hottub outside and it was half full with water making it unusable. The small beach was nice, the views were nice, and the place has potential, but you literally couldn't pay us money to stay there again. Very dissapointed in our stay to say the least. Glad we're home now.

I was not impressed with the establishment. Came into our room flooded from the fridge leaking all over the floor, and no cleaning person on site. They brought towels for us to clean up our room ourselves. The community hot tub bubble jets were not working and the tub was full of bugs. We had to clean it ourselves. The complimentary coffee tasted awful. The fireplace in the room was the only positive thing of our stay.
