Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. Overall, the property feels much more like student accommodation than a proper hotel. The check-in process is already quite unusual. You have to go to the hotel next door to check in and collect a brass key. The same key opens the main entrance to the building as well as all the internal doors, which raises serious concerns about security. The reception at the neighbouring hotel closes at late night, and there is no support available for guests after that. Once you arrive at the building, the lift does not go to the top floor, meaning you have to take the stairs for the final floor (including your bag). There was also no Wi-Fi available on that floor during my stay. The rooms are extremely basic. The room number is literally displayed on a piece of paper, the curtains are not blackout, and the mattress was extremely thin. There is also no mini fridge in the room but they left a bottle of water. The amenities are very poor, including extremely rough toilet paper. These may sound like small details, but together they contribute to an experience that feels well below the standard you would expect from a hotel. To be fair, the property was clean and that, with a welcome beer, were probably the only positive things I can say about my stay.
