No breakfast available during the week. Room was dirty, mouldy shower/bath. Paint peeling off the ceiling. Curtains hanging off and no hooks to reattach. I stayed for 3 nights and only had 2 hand towels and no bath towel. Put the hand towels in the bath after the first night but the cleaner put them back on the rail rather than replacing them. Second night they just left them in the bath with no clean replacements again.

Best water pressure in the shower out of all the places we stayed in the area, and good hot water. Location was great. Those were the good things. But... there was significant and shocking amount of visible mold in the the bathroom, especially around the bathtub tile. A strong smell in the space. And the WiFi was very spotty (for example, completely didn't work for a day an half, and then very, very slow when it did.) TV channels also only worked sometimes. Needs some work and improvements to get up to speed.

Me and my husband recently stayed for 1 night. Although we didn't receive the room with courtyard view as stated we were greeted by friendly staff. Check in was quick and our room was very clean. We ate at the pub and service and food was good. Overall a good value stay. My only complaint is the room was too hot and the window didn't open far.

Room was very nice but the menus was not as good as anticipated i asked for the special Rogan josh curry and chips the meat was very tender and fresh but not a hint of a curry no heat or spice very dull i thought i was getting chips as in cooked potatoes not the equivalent of crisps. There was supposed to be a breakfast option but the place was locked up. Room was lovely but the restaurant was over priced for what i paid and received

Pretty average at best - checking in we weren’t greeted simply names and keys almost begrudgingly handed over - then the Manager intervened and told the barman to fully explain rooms restaurant etc - he took us outside and pointed that’s them !! We took a table in bar as England match was on later that night got beers and asked for menu - it’s very sparse with no steaks or freshly cooked stuff again very average and overpriced. I understand it’s recently been taken over but no idea if they did breakfast as nothing was explained so posted keys through letter box and left . Not what I’ve come to expect with Hotels.com personally I would not return and I’m sure Barrow has a lot more nicer places to stay😞
