The hotel is a big sprawling site, but it is mainly immaculate property with lots of attentive staff and is a beautiful position in Salalah. A special mention to Adel (Coco's Bar) and Ben (Breakers Restaurant) for their excellent service and customer friendly attitude. I missed one star off the overall experience as some parts of the hotel are looking tired now. Our room 8107 had blown glass in the patio doors meaning you couldn't see through the glass. Also, it would be good if there was an excursion booking centre in the hotel, rather than having to go to the Marina (hard work when the person you are on holiday with, struggles to walk). I would however recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a nice comfortable place to stay.

The resort does not allow local taxis or external transportation services, which limits guests' options for getting around. They say it is government rule but nothing wss shown to support that. If you're planning to stay entirely within the resort, this may not affect you much. Just you'll end up paying much more than expected just for airport transfers or simple outings. Aside from this issue, everything else about the resort was excellent.
