Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is comfortably furnished, with the only improvement suggested is that it could use chair cushions (we bring our own and the great staff at the office stores them for us). We stayed in July 2024 this year and August last year. The unit has A/C in the bedrooms, but this year we never needed it and in 2023 we only used it on the first and last day while unpacking/packing. A great thing about this unit is the frig as both an ice maker and a cold filtered water dispenser. Perhaps the best part of staying at PKK is the beach at the bottom of the cliff if you are willing to make the hike. Saw 1-2 turtles each time snorkeling and also a Spotted Eagle Ray. This unit faces west, which gives a good view of the sunset from the lanai. The tradeoff is the sun shines directly into the unit in the late afternoon unless the curtains are closed.

Overall a great option when visiting the north side of Kauai! The view of the ocean is amazing and the walk down to the beach is an extra bonus. The neighborhood is beautiful and a lot of people out walking and running the paths. The condo is well stocked and comfortable. Just note that there are stairs to get to the front door and a very small landing inside the front door so you have to go down or up stairs upon entering the condo. The parking lot is close so we just made more trips with luggage. Definitely would stay here again!

The views from this condo are AMAZING! It is only a couple minute walk to both Hideaway Beach and the One Hotel Beach. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Since it was the end of July, it was nice to have air conditioners in the bedrooms.

Clean and updated condo. Manger was easy to communicate with and super helpful. Easy access to the beach but a steep climb. Afternoon heat can be challenge, but if manage the window coverings it will help. Highly recommend.

What a charming condo with lovely views in a perfect location! We loved walking to Hideaways Beach. Just a quick 10 minute drive Hanalei. Perfect for our family of 5. Beach chairs and boogie boards were a plus. So was washer/dryer. We’d definitely rent here again.

What a peaceful place. The ocean surf crashing sunsets and a constant breeze made this stay so relaxing. We traveled in Feb and saw numerous whales and dolphins right from the balcony. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Check out the hidden private beach, it was beautiful. A gem for sure!

Loved staying at Cash’s place! My girlfriends and I came here for a get together and loved every second. The views are stunning and the place is clean, spacious, and has everything you need and more. We were impressed with the toiletry situation, that there was laundry detergent for the machine, beach equipment, and that the TV had streaming capability. We were were able to park for free and everything we wanted to do was a short drive away. We loved the pool and jacuzzi on property as well as Cash’s prompt communication. We also really appreciated that the house rules and check out instructions were reasonable. My group wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here with our teenage boys. The view from the lenai is amazing. You can watch the sunset while you cook dinner. Coffee on the lenai while watching snorkelers below, a 🌈 or sailboats going by. My boys spent most of their time surfing in Hanalei. Hanalei beach is a quick drive down the hill. Being able to walk down the paved path to the ocean is really cool. The only thing I would add is a grill. I already want to come back!

Rental location was excellent for snorkeling enthusiasts. Only a small hike down to a very secluded beach with corals a few feet from the shore. Hike up is a workout but well worth it! The property had everything we needed for our vacation. We didn’t even have to use any of the toiletries that we packed! Great rental and would recommend. Mahalo to Sophia for being available to answer our questions before and during our vacation!

From a sanitation aspect, the cleanliness was fine. It has dust mites in the bed and lot of bugs in the house. I had called and them know and they gave me a bottle of bug spray after 4 days. I had multiple bud bites along with my family. I would stay away from this place.

We ended up not going out to eat at places with recommended good views because we had the best view right there in the condo! Everything was set up nicely with everything you need to cook, etc. Sheets and towels we're soft, bed was comfy! No complaints at all!

Reviewer Comments: Wish I could say as good as all the other units I have stayed in. Unfortunately this one was not as clean and had an offensive odor. It definitely needs updating. New flooring would be a big help and a thorough cleaning of all wicker furniture. Cushions need to be replaced too.

We were truly excited to stay at this place because of the amazing view. However, when we arrived, we found dirty / stained towels, rust over the front of the washing machine, and the place was extremely dirty and hot. This was too much for our group to overcome so we decided to find a different place to stay. We informed the property manager of the lack of cleanliness (didn’t address the heat in the space as we knew it wasn’t air conditioned) once we found a different place to stay. This was a 3 night stay so we requested a refund due to lack of cleanliness. I’m sure the property manager will reply to this review stating they didn’t have a chance to resolve the issue before we decided to change our accommodations. In reality, the owner and property manager had that chance before we entered the property. It shouldn’t require the customer to complain to notice that a “professionally cleaned” space included dirty / stained towels. I’m sure the property manager will also reply to this review stating that we took showers in the place. This is true as we were tight on time and had been out exploring the island that day. We picked through to find the cleanest towels we could find, took showers before dinner, and left the property. I see from past reviews that many have enjoyed this space and I truly hope others can in the future. I just wish this owner / property manager would do the right thing with a partial refund due to lack of cleanliness.

We had a good but not outstanding stay. The view was fantastic and the condo was well equipped--beach chairs & towels, binoculars, coolers, snorkeling gear, well stocked kitchen. Sadly, as it turned out, the lack of AC made it hard to sleep. Our research had suggested that since we were right on the water, it would be comfortable at night, but it didn't really turn out that way. At this price point, the owner should consider adding AC.

My partner and I stayed here for a week. Waking up the the ocean view was so wonderful. The condo has everything you need. It was a great spot to make day trips to Hanalei or go east to Kilauea. Note that this place does not have AC if that’s important to you. We loved our stay.

The views from this condo are AMAZING! It is only a couple minute walk to both Hideaway Beach and the One Hotel Beach. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Since it was the end of July, it was nice to have air conditioners in the bedrooms.

The Bali Hai and mountain vistas here are truly unmatched, and the remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are fresh upgrades. However, a few drawbacks that I think worth mentioning:- Insect invasion: Old, warped window/door screens with gaps and holes let in swarms of insects. While most were harmless, the relentless mosquitoes disrupted sleep.- Staircase challenges: Steep outdoor stairs (7 steps to the front door), immediately inside, you must climb 7 steep steps up to the upper level or descend 7 equally steep steps to the main living area. Not ideal for mobility concerns.- Check-in hassle: Physical key pickup at the Lihue office requires a short drive—digital locks would simplify this.- Outdated furniture: The couches were noticeably old, worn, and, well, less clean than you’d like them to be. A gem for the views, and if insects, stairs, and stylish furnishings are not your concerns, you’d love this place.

When you walk through the door and down the stairs to the main level, you realize what you paid for. The view is honestly breathtaking! There are no other words to describe it. The condo itself is very nice. The kitchen cabinets looked like they were installed recently and they are top quality. The appliances are very nice, too. There is one bedroom and bath on the main level and another bedroom and bath upstairs. The lower level has 2 double beds and the upper has a king bed. But all of that really doesn't matter, you are there for the view. There were two times when we were late for dinner reservations because we were lost staring at the sparkling Pacific and Bali Hai in the distance. However, the reason I only gave it 4 stars was on the last day of our stay, the WiFi router kicked all of us out of the system. We couldn't log back in no matter what we tried, and with my son being a computer engineer, we tried everything. The reason this was a problem was because we were supposed to check in for our departing flight that day and we were unable to. The other "problem" with the north shore of Kauai is cell service is horrific! There were times when I had absolutely no service and most of the time it is a one-bar 4G situation. Normally, this isn't a problem because, with service this bad, I can't be bothered with calls for the mainland, which is nice! Fortunately, we took a scenic stroll down to 1 Hotel at the end of the road, ordered a mai tai, and used their WiFi.

Loved staying at Cash’s place! My girlfriends and I came here for a get together and loved every second. The views are stunning and the place is clean, spacious, and has everything you need and more. We were impressed with the toiletry situation, that there was laundry detergent for the machine, beach equipment, and that the TV had streaming capability. We were were able to park for free and everything we wanted to do was a short drive away. We loved the pool and jacuzzi on property as well as Cash’s prompt communication. We also really appreciated that the house rules and check out instructions were reasonable. My group wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We have stayed here quite a few times over the past years and it never fails to disappoint. Booking was easy, communication was easy, check-in was easy, unit is well stocked and very clean. Rental location was excellent for snorkeling enthusiasts. Only a small hike down to a very secluded beach with corals a few feet from the shore. Hike up is a workout but well worth it! The property had everything we needed for our vacation. We didn’t even have to use any of the toiletries that we packed! Great rental and would recommend. Mahalo to Sophia for being available to answer our questions before and during our vacation!

Well maintained and spacious. we stayed here with our two little girls over christmas and everything was at our fingertips. In December and most beaches were pretty treacherous for little kids but we managed to find a calm beach with paved public access next to the hanalei bay hotel. what a dream. we spent a lot of time there. we rented a car and all the places we wanted to visit were a quick drive away. Would definitely stay here again.

The porch is covered and we had a great time. Super easy access to hidden beach and all the fun stuff around in Princeville. I highly recommend it! We would definitely choose to stay again.

Overall a great option when visiting the north side of Kauai! The view of the ocean is amazing and the walk down to the beach is an extra bonus. The neighborhood is beautiful and a lot of people out walking and running the paths. The condo is well stocked and comfortable. Just note that there are stairs to get to the front door and a very small landing inside the front door so you have to go down or up stairs upon entering the condo. The parking lot is close so we just made more trips with luggage. Definitely would stay here again!

What a charming condo with lovely views in a perfect location! We loved walking to Hideaways Beach. Just a quick 10 minute drive Hanalei. Perfect for our family of 5. Beach chairs and boogie boards were a plus. So was washer/dryer. We’d definitely rent here again.

We loved our stay, and especially appreciated the abundance of amenities. We completed 2 puzzles, cooked often, used the beach equipment (some other vacationers in nearby units said they didn’t have any!), and the pool and hot tub were amazing. And the views are amazing (the pictures online don’t do it justice).

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this condo. This was our second time staying in this general area in Princeville and will most certainly return. This condo had a great layout, open design, and was very well equipt for fun on the beach. Oh and those views of the ocean were fantastics - great whale watching!
