We arriced to find the parking lot roped off because they were patching the asphalt to prepare for the parking lot to be resurfaced. This was not mentioned in my confirmation or on the website. We had to call and ask where to park. Once we did, we had to walk across the newly payched asphalt to get to the hotel. This meant stepping carefully so we didn't get hot paving material on our shoes. Additionally, we ended our stay early because the beds were beyond uncomfortable. It was like like sleeping on a stone slab. Would not recommend staying there.

The hotel is pretty good. The rooms are definitely not updated, but pretty clean. I liked that our window opened so we could have fresh air. This is a good location for after your day in Gays Mills. The pool is a good size and they have a hot tub. It was very busy the night we stayed, but it was a fun group of people. Lots of families and kids were playing well together. I'd recommend it and stay again. There is no elevator, so if you need accommodations, you'll want to pay attention to room type when you book.

A very clean and comfortable hotel with very kind and helpful staff. We did have a second floor room and there was no elevator. If you cant do stairs be sure to request a main floor room.

Quiet and breakfast wasn’t busy. Pool was cold. We couldn’t access a lot of channels on the tv. Room was outdated. Toilet seat fell off after first use, so I fixed. Soda machine was sold out.

There is no elevator, but the front desk person helped us bring our stuff up the stairs. The breakfast was good and the coffee/ tea area was great. The pool is heavily chlorinated and it seemed busy often. It was only 5 ft do at the most, but still fun and the hot tub was great!

Property was clean and well maintained. Easy to find and adequate parking. We where on a motorcyle and our bike kick stand sunk into the asphalt. I seen multiple divets where that happenend throughout the parking lot. The bathroom shower head leaked out of the showerhead when running the bahtub and was quite messy. Other then that, the sheets where clean, the bed and pillow where comfortable. Staff was welcoming and informational. Overall a good stay and would stay again.

No elevator! Had to carry everything up and down the stairs. Very small TV - not a big deal. WiFi was hokey. It worked in the evening using AmericInn w/o a password but next morning it wouldn't work and had to call the front desk and they said to use a different wifi and gave me the password. Finally got connected. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were not at all good. I couldn't eat them so switched to cold cereal. I think the scrambled eggs were not real eggs - some kind of imitation junk. Just average overall. Not sure how they get high ratings which is why I selected them.

The lobby was clean and inviting, the pool was nice as well as the hot tub. Our room was spacious and clean. The whole place overall was quiet and the other people we did run across were polite. Breakfast was average, hot protein options were scrambled eggs and sausage links.

very disappointed that they didn’t have a working TV and that we weren’t notified that when we checked in. When we checked in, there were numerous employees just sitting around on their telephones, not really talking to any of the guest the lady who checked us in, didn’t even stand up to greet us, the towels in the pool area are pathetic. They barely covered me and I’m not a big person.

Everyplace around the area was either booked or very high priced due to being a weekend. Decided to stay in Boscobel since it was just as close to our destination on Saturday as anywhere closer to Prairie du Chien. Great stay including cleanliness of the facility to the comfort of the room we had. Nice dark shade added onto black out curtains which was nice. Very busy in the morning with a LOT of kids, but the man attending the motel was in total charge and was able to keep up with the busyness of the morning breakfast time. Not enough room to sit so had to take our breakfast back to our room, but not a big deal. Room was quieter, anyway. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

No elevator! Had to carry everything up and down the stairs. Very small TV - not a big deal. WiFi was hokey. It worked in the evening using AmericInn w/o a password but next morning it wouldn't work and had to call the front desk and they said to use a different wifi and gave me the password. Finally got connected. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were not at all good. I couldn't eat them so switched to cold cereal. I think the scrambled eggs were not real eggs - some kind of imitation junk. Just average overall. Not sure how they get high ratings which is why I selected them.

The hot tub has actually been HOT, everytime I have been here... a lot of places keep it too cold for me. The pool is usually decent temp too. It's a great little town for a relaxing stay. Friendly staff and good breakfast options. Also a drive through beer and liquor next door, you can't beat this place!!

This place is run down. Lots of messes and piles of debris close to the front door. The windows to the pool and around the entryway were filmy and dirty. The entire hallway of the upper level hotel rooms looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a couple of weeks. (It's possible all the rooms are upstairs -- keep this in mind if you're not steady on your feet or can't carry your own suitcase up a long flight of stairs.) There was very little for decor which made the run down feel feel even more....intense. We only needed a clean bed to sleep in and a place to shower, so in the end it was fine, however, if you are looking for more than that, you may need to look elsewhere. If you are the owner of this franchise hotel, I'd encourage you to do whatever you can to freshen the place up and to improve housekeeping in the common areas.

Our bed mad a LOUD popping noise every time I moved, I got in/out of it. Turns out the bed frames are some sort of metal, which made a popping sound like someone banging on pipes or something. Was pretty ANNOYING! They didn’t put out anymore breakfast food, yet they still had one hour plus left for the complimentary breakfast. That didn’t bother me as much as the bed situation though. But they could probably use more staff so that they can keep up with guest services as well as the complimentary breakfast, because the guest service person was also having to work the breakfast.
