Stayed four nights to ski the various areas of Hakuba Valley. First, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! For example, when I arrived and as I was parking my car, a staff member came out to greet me. And each morning I skied Happo One, a staff member drove me to the ski area and then picked me up when I called in the early afternoon. This allowed me to boot up in the hotel lobby, saving me much time. Staff also offered to help with ski rentals and lift passes. The daily breakfast (set menu) was also nice. And one evening I ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. I was hoping for Japanese food, but the set menu was comprised of delicious French food. I should have asked more questions about the dinner menu before I made my dinner booking, but again the dinner and service were very nice. The hotel itself is showing its age—worn carpets in the hallways, tired-looking furniture, scuffs on the walls. But the room was spacious and the bed and pillows comfortable. The hotel is secluded, and I couldn’t find any places to eat within walking distance, so guests will have to eat dinner in the hotel’s restaurant or drive somewhere. Overall, I had a nice, relaxing stay.

I have visited this property four times since 2012. The hotel is beautifully nestled in the forest and lit up with pin lights, the rooms are lovely and spacious and come with a deep plunge bath. It is convenient to walk to the slopes, on the main shuttle service and one can walk to surrounding restaurants, bars and ski rentals. But what stands this hotel apart is the impeccable service from the amazing staff. During ski season they lay out your warm ski/boarding boots at the door, and they help you get transportation to the lifts. At the end of the day they greet you at the door with a smile, take your wet gear and swap back your warm personal shoes. There is a lovely lobby for an apre glass of wine and a fireplace for roasting marshmallows. They help you find reservations to dinner and help you sort transportation to and from. I travel globally for work and leisure, from the smiles to the can-do, and truly helping guest I have found rare a team that could exceed in provincially my an amazing experience. We stayed at the cottage. My family was able to enjoy hotel amenities with privacy. The shuttle was a big plus. The staff was very accommodating. We will stay there again. Highly recommended.

Wow !! What a place, great service, great people, excellent food !!! If you need to choose one place to stay there on ski season, it’s your choice. I love Japan but this service blow my mind !! They take you to the gondolas and go back for you without cost and the best service actitude

よかった事 ・レストランのスタッフの方々が素晴らしかったです ・八方尾根まで送迎サービス ・森を眺めてのテラス朝食 残念だった事 ・西館が古くカビ臭い ・氷は有料 古い西館での宿泊でした。 説明を見ても古いとは分からずベットタイプで残りがダブルかツインのみ、ツイン希望でしたので西館を選んだのですが、古くて驚きました。 ロビーはカビ臭く調度品も古かったです。 清掃はとても行き届いていてキレイでしたし、客室はカビ臭くなかったです。 ただバスタブの排水が悪くシャワーを浴びていてもすぐに足元が水で埋まってきて排水溝の水かと思うと気持ち悪かったです。 コンセントも外れかけていました。 とても素晴らしいと思ったのはレストランのスタッフの皆さんの対応でした。 気遣いではなく心配りがあり、とても良くしていただきました。 それまでガッカリしていたのですが朝食での皆さんの接客で全て挽回されました。 ハード面さえ改良されていれば、より満足できたかと思います。

The best service I have ever experienced around the world! The staff here are amazing. Beautiful rooms with amazing views. The breakfast is a 5 course meal or buffet- highly recommend. They have a free shuttle service which saves you so much $ on taxis. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us to book two dinners, three private ski lessons as well as pick up and drop off for ski runs for the nearby Happo-One ski area. They also helped to arrange for pick up from and to the Hakuba-Happo bus station.

I stayed here couple weeks ago, I like the environment and comfort and quiet place, the manager and staff are great and friendly, that’s the reason why I came back. The manager upgrade me to a room with Jaguzzi. Sadly is the air conditional is abit old , doesn’t cool up the room quick, but it still fine. The hotels room definitely needs a proper upgrade as there is many wear and tear and air conditional need an overhaul too. Wallpaper has to be clean as you can see some stains.

5年ぶりに宿泊しました。施設、清潔度、スタッフ等どれも素晴らしいです。レストランは安定の美味しさで、特に鹿肉ステーキが美味しかった。次はスキーで利用したいと思います。

I have visited this property four times since 2012. The hotel is beautifully nestled in the forest and lit up with pin lights, the rooms are lovely and spacious and come with a deep plunge bath. It is convenient to walk to the slopes, on the main shuttle service and one can walk to surrounding restaurants, bars and ski rentals. But what stands this hotel apart is the impeccable service from the amazing staff. During ski season they lay out your warm ski/boarding boots at the door, and they help you get transportation to the lifts. At the end of the day they greet you at the door with a smile, take your wet gear and swap back your warm personal shoes. There is a lovely lobby for an apre glass of wine and a fireplace for roasting marshmallows. They help you find reservations to dinner and help you sort transportation to and from. I travel globally for work and leisure, from the smiles to the can-do, and truly helping guest I have found rare a team that could exceed in provincially my an amazing experience. よかった事 ・レストランのスタッフの方々が素晴らしかったです ・八方尾根まで送迎サービス ・森を眺めてのテラス朝食 残念だった事 ・西館が古くカビ臭い ・氷は有料 古い西館での宿泊でした。 説明を見ても古いとは分からずベットタイプで残りがダブルかツインのみ、ツイン希望でしたので西館を選んだのですが、古くて驚きました。 ロビーはカビ臭く調度品も古かったです。 清掃はとても行き届いていてキレイでしたし、客室はカビ臭くなかったです。 ただバスタブの排水が悪くシャワーを浴びていてもすぐに足元が水で埋まってきて排水溝の水かと思うと気持ち悪かったです。 コンセントも外れかけていました。 とても素晴らしいと思ったのはレストランのスタッフの皆さんの対応でした。 気遣いではなく心配りがあり、とても良くしていただきました。 それまでガッカリしていたのですが朝食での皆さんの接客で全て挽回されました。 ハード面さえ改良されていれば、より満足できたかと思います。

We stayed at the cottage. My family was able to enjoy hotel amenities with privacy. The shuttle was a big plus. The staff was very accommodating. We will stay there again. Highly recommended.

Wow !! What a place, great service, great people, excellent food !!! If you need to choose one place to stay there on ski season, it’s your choice. I love Japan but this service blow my mind !! They take you to the gondolas and go back for you without cost and the best service actitude

一泊二日の宿泊でしたが、送迎からチェックアウトまでスタッフの方々の素晴らしいホスピタリティに触れられ大満足な日を過ごすことができました。夕食も食材から拘って作られてることが感じられ感激しました。今回、私にとっては初めての高級ホテルの宿泊ということもあり少し背伸びしてしまった部分もあったのですが、誰も拒まないスタッフの方々の笑顔には救われました。いつか必ずこのホテルに相応しい人になってまた訪れたいと思います。

We stayed for three nights and took the half board option which included breakfast and dinner at their restaurant. We were so impressed with the fabulous French- inspired multi course dinners; beautifully presented and super delicious! What an incredible value. Would highly recommend! The staff and service at this hotel are also top notch!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us to book two dinners, three private ski lessons as well as pick up and drop off for ski runs for the nearby Happo-One ski area. They also helped to arrange for pick up from and to the Hakuba-Happo bus station.

森の中にあって、鳥のさえずりとか聞こえてすごく静かでリラックスできました！ 私は、唐松岳に登ろうと思って宿泊したのですが、リフトまでのアクセスもよかったし、他のお店にも行きやすくてよかったです！スタッフの方も気さくに話しかけてくれて嬉しかったです。オススメスポットも教えてくれて嬉しかったです。ありがとうございました。

Stayed four nights to ski the various areas of Hakuba Valley. First, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! For example, when I arrived and as I was parking my car, a staff member came out to greet me. And each morning I skied Happo One, a staff member drove me to the ski area and then picked me up when I called in the early afternoon. This allowed me to boot up in the hotel lobby, saving me much time. Staff also offered to help with ski rentals and lift passes. The daily breakfast (set menu) was also nice. And one evening I ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. I was hoping for Japanese food, but the set menu was comprised of delicious French food. I should have asked more questions about the dinner menu before I made my dinner booking, but again the dinner and service were very nice. The hotel itself is showing its age—worn carpets in the hallways, tired-looking furniture, scuffs on the walls. But the room was spacious and the bed and pillows comfortable. The hotel is secluded, and I couldn’t find any places to eat within walking distance, so guests will have to eat dinner in the hotel’s restaurant or drive somewhere. Overall, I had a nice, relaxing stay.

ウエルカムドリンクに始まり、サービスも雰囲気も良かったです。食事も地元のこだわりの食材を用いて、非常に美味しかったです。朝食はテラスで気持ちよく頂きました。また是非利用したいです。
ウエルカムドリンクに始まり、サービスも雰囲気も良かったです。食事も地元のこだわりの食材を用いて、非常に美味しかったです。朝食はテラスで気持ちよく頂きました。また是非利用したいです。

We stayed for three nights and took the half board option which included breakfast and dinner at their restaurant. We were so impressed with the fabulous French- inspired multi course dinners; beautifully presented and super delicious! What an incredible value. Would highly recommend! The staff and service at this hotel are also top notch!

The best service I have ever experienced around the world! The staff here are amazing. Beautiful rooms with amazing views. The breakfast is a 5 course meal or buffet- highly recommend. They have a free shuttle service which saves you so much $ on taxis. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

La Neige is a great hotel, the staff is perfect, I want to come back, the premises are beautiful, so elegant, and at a good price, there’s no onsen, but no problem, there are options a few minutes away, and the hotel have an excellent transportation service. I definitely want to come back. 5 stars

This hotel was absolutely incredible. It’s located just five minutes from Happo-One, which made getting to the slopes unbelievably convenient. The ski shuttle service the hotel provides is also fantastic. Whenever you want to ski, you simply go down to the ski concierge, let them know you’re heading out, and they’ll have all of your gear ready—clean, dry, and warm. Then they drive you straight to the mountain of your choice. It honestly couldn’t be easier. Yes, the hotel is on the pricier side, but it is absolutely worth it. The food at the restaurant is outstanding, and the service was truly impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back to Japan, and I will definitely be staying here again.
