I was about half early for check in, room wasn’t ready yet but I was able to set up in the lobby and work until it was. The room was nice, clean and cool. The fitness room is decent but all 3 treads were broken (without signage). Two wouldn’t go over 1mph and the last one wouldn’t even turn on. This was incredibly frustrating as fitness centers/pools are specific amenities I look for when I’m traveling. No info on website or offered at check in, I had to find them all not working and then go to the front desk to be told “I don’t know why there aren’t signs up, they’re out until new ones arrive”

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind; they went above and beyond to give us dish soap to wash our baby bottles and checked on us daily via text. The property was clean and in good condition. The only disappointment was the hot tub was out of order!

It was generally a wonderful stay. Great location, service, and staff. Tina was n exceptional hostess. Bummed the hot tub was out of order - when I called to ask how late it was open on 2 occasions I was given the timeframe, but it was not disclosed that the hot tub had been out of service for 9 mos. Wasn’t a deal breaker though and I’d stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat.

This is our second stay a the Hampton Inn Suites as a "girlfriends getaway weekend". We love the location and view, but most of all we love the space of the suites- We have space for snacks, and a nice table to meet around in our room. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I\'ve had. The only bummer was that the hot tub was broken, but the pool was nice and toasty.

Very nice on both rivers Hood River And near the Columbia River walking.distamce. our room was very spacious and reasonable price. One bummer the hot tub was down and really wamted to get into the hot tub. Breakfast was.great and the workers kept everything stocked.

As a vegetarian, I was not pleased with the cereal options which were all geared for kids. No raison bran or Special K. I could not get any of the exercise machines to work. I have a treadmill at home and you just turn it on and press start. These must have a secret code to get them to work.

Probably was nice in the 90s but time has passed it by a bit. Furniture is dirty and stained. Room smelled very strongly of deodorant, presumably to hide some other smell? They have some really annoying and cheap practices too, like you have to sign up for some "Honors" program just to get WIFI and then it isn't even good WIFI, you have to pay more for "premium" WIFI to basically do anything. Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but probably won't be visiting again.

Very clean, classy hotel. We got a water view room which was nice. The bed was a bit firm for me but most hotel beds are. I liked the cookies that they put out at 5:00. Good breakfast with all the things. You can walk out on the spit (beach) and watch the kite surfers, which is fun.

Seemed over priced for what you get but we booked last minute so you get what you get. The pool looked nice and inviting. Staff was nice. Amenities were good. Just the carpet was so pet stained, and smell of the product they try to cover it with is headache inducing get that fixed and I would stay again. Otherwise, not so much.

We have stayed here previously and it is always very clean and well managed. Not always the case these days. Major props, and appreciated. (The freeway rooms are noisy…so try for the riverside rooms. Our only complaint).

The property was clean and staff nice. but did not sleep all night. We were placed on top floor next to freeway and did sleep all night. We placed a reservation well in advance of our stay. Could not believe this was the only room available.

Very large rooms with great views. They location was just what we wanted. We stayed with our dogs and its a wonderful area for walks. The only issue was the one coin operated washer and dryer was much in demand and did a very bad job cleaning and drying.

This is the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. It's right next to I-84. Even with earplugs, I could hear every vehicle all night long. On the second night, I asked for a different room and the staff were super helpful. The new room was still loud but at least I could sleep with earplugs. The WiFi is very slow so it's not a great place to work (6Mbs/1.5Mbs). The staff are very nice and helpful. I would never stay here again.

The Hotel is very well kept. Staff was nice. We were in a room on the upper floor in the middle of the building, but I can see how anyone closer to the highway would have a hard time with the noise.

The bed was absolutely torture; it was squeaky and hard lumpy. we ended up leaving before our second day booking because we couldn’t try sleeping on that bed a second night. Way overpriced for how bad the bed was.

Receptionist was too busy for her our reservation was lost in space for 3 rooms paid in full on hotels .com. Implied she was not able to help because we paid through a “third party. Finally a “supervisor” came in and solved the non problem without even talking to us. Lot of people waiting behind us was an embarrassment for all evolved.

Great property. Auto checkin did not work. Tried over a dozen times, did not work. Gave the phone to the clerk, she tried several times. No luck there either. She finally just gave me a cardkey.

The day we arrived, the internet was down in the whole town and we were not able to check in right away, but that was totally out of their control! Despite the setback, Tina and William were beyond lovely and accommodating, helping us access the pool, treating our children with unbelievable kindness, and offering regular updates. Eventually, we were able to check in virtually and were immediately able to get keys. Sometimes, life happens, you know? But the people at this hotel are professional and so very kind, and the accommodations were great. I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Perfect area - right in the middle of everything. So close to food and entertainment. And best part was Tina!!! That woman was amazing. Friendly, helpful, gave us background of Beacon Rock. She is the best part of our stay! Thank you Tina for being amazing. She truly was one of the best parts of our trip!

Facility is great, staff wonderfully helpful, and location excellent; close to everything. One suggestion though. Please provide unscented soaps and lotions. Many of us, me included, are very scent sensitive. Thanks.

The only thing that’s not good is the breakfast , limited options , haven’t been to a hotel where there is no options of scrambled eggs without meat, it’s all microwaved items in breakfast, nothing fresh .

Location, location, location! Our 3rd floor corner room had views of both the fast-flowing Hood river and the lazy Columbia. Hotel staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, the room was clean as a whistle, quiet, and spacious, and well stocked with toiletries and coffee items. Blackout curtains kept the sunshine at bay until we were ready! Morning breakfast was quite a bonanza with a cereal station, hot buffet, baked goods, make your own waffles, fruit & yogurt, and oatmeal & granola. The coffee station was also impressive! Great walking paths for us and our pooch to explore (p.s. they love dogs here!) and an easy jaunt under the highway and up into town. Will definitely stay here again!

Morning front desk staff barked at me and was nasty when I questions the lack of vegetarian food at breakfast. She said it was "free" so they do not need to provide anything decent.

As a vegetarian, I was not pleased with the cereal options which were all geared for kids. No raison bran or Special K. I could not get any of the exercise machines to work. I have a treadmill at home and you just turn it on and press start. These must have a secret code to get them to work.

We enjoyed where the hotel was located in Hood River. The staff was friendly and our room was comfortable and clean. We liked that the menu for the breakfast changed everyday and there were so many tasty options. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great overnight stay at this place. Wonderful room with agreat scenic view. Quiet and comfortable. Superb location to get to any other Hood River venue.. Tasty nummy breakfast, EZ check in and out. This place cares!

Another guest had working keys and successfully accessed our room while we were sleeping. The door hit the catch and the then the other guests determined the room was occupied and left. We contact the front desk and were told it was not the keys even though we heard it open the door. They indicated the doors sometimes do that and don’t latch just brushing off a very startling event and taking no ownership of the error which could have impact guest safety. Other than this, the property was nice, beautiful, and very clean. The next morning our keys didn’t work indicating there was some error/mistake with the keys made by staff. We liked the place but very disappointed in how the staff handled this safety event.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were great. However, I picked this place over others due to the advertised Columbia River views and photos. We were willing to pay extra for that. We got a view of a couple of trees, partial small river and walking bridge and the freeway. Nice place but not as advertised.
