Homewood Suites By Hilton Christiansburg

Everything was great. However I did not like the junk coffee maker in the room. Would have rathered a Keurig or regular coffee maker.

Property was showing some age, but was run very well. Front desk was timely and courteous. Breakfast was above average.

By far the nicest hotel we stayed in. Very clean, nice little kitchen and big shower. Staff were very welcoming especially with our 2 pups. Plenty of parking and nice sitting areas outside. Will definitely look for this chain of hotels in the future.

Didn’t stay because of rude , unhelpful front desk women. They were demanding a non-returnable pet fee of $75 but the hotels.com site where we booked listed the fee as $50. They refused to discuss the discrepancy. I was exhausted from a long day of driving. They also would not help with a cancellation because I had booked through hotels.com. What’s so interesting is that we had stayed at exactly the same hotel chain just 5 days earlier in Carlisle, Pa and not only was the staff professional kind and accomodating, but they waived our pet fee (which was $50) because our dog is a registered emotional support animal (ESA). The ladies at this hotel in Christiansburg coldly and rudely would not even discuss it. I’ll never book here again and I hope no one else does.
