The room was located on the third floor and had no elevator. I had to lug my luggage up. Two flights are very steep stairs. The room was cold no heat. It wasn’t handicap accessible. The bathroom light was 6 feet from the floor. I’m 5 feet tall I had to reach over my head to turn the bathroom light on the bathroom was smaller than a closet Not what I expected for $1300 for two day stay no an blanket and no front desk to talk to anyone.breakfast was a joke cold cereal and. Stall bagels.

The location worked for my needs,Parking was good if it was their driveway. I was not pleased with the room. The heat was blasting and there were no controls to cool it down. I had to open the window in order to make the room bearable. The TV did not work and there were no directions to operate it and the light in the room was on a 2 ft high table. When I went down for some breakfast, there were no utensils, plates or anything to put the danish on. The staff was average, I only saw them after waiting over 20 minutes to check in and for 30 seconds when I left. I will not use them again.

We got there a bit early to drop off our bags and housekeeping gave us a key for later. We came back at check in time but no one was around and we had some questions so we called but it would have been better to talk in person. No one to make recommendations or suggestions. We had a 3rd floor room and it was tiny. We felt like giants. Stairs were steep and loud. Another guest had a dog that was pretty vocal and there was no barrier to the different sounds. It was clean and comfortable considering the challenges but probably wouldn’t go back.

Very pleasant place; manager Monica helped us find a great place to eat. Room very small -- but we knew that before going. Lots of outdoor places to sit; nice chats with other guests. Some outdoor furniture in need of repair, but did not interfere with lovely visit.

We did not enjoy our stay at all! We were not able to get on the Island due to weather and they still charged up for the night we missed. The room was not clean, the fireplace did not work, the shower didn't drain, and overall the place was unkept and not clean. Worst experience ever! I would never recommend or go back!

Staff was welcoming. Facilities are well maintained. Building from 1700 very cozy yet typically small accommodations. Breakfast was adequate and well presented cold buffet. We would certainly consider again.

The lodge was beautiful, clean, Monica was very sweet. Our only issue was that the bathroom and shower were incredibly tiny and it wasn't clear on the information online. It did not diminish our stay, it's just something to note.

Cliff lodge was the perfect place for me, for a nights stay. My room was clean, pretty and organized and I had a nice view of the town & water...it was fantastic! I will definitely plan on returning to the Cliff Lodge on my next trip to the island. Great staff, friendly and accommodating, great job!

Our stay was in December 2021. Monica was especially wonderful. She greeted us at the door when we arrived and graciously showed us to our room and the common areas. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and very relaxing. The home was charmingly decorated with a special ambiance for the holidays. Tea & coffee were readily available. The breakfast baskets were a good start to our days.

Room was a little run down and old for the price. Lock on bathroom door was broken. Bedroom door had glass rather than being solid. Bedding not great quality. Pillows not filled with down. Blanket was stained. No reception desk and no locked place to place luggage. On positive side, breakfast was great and location outstanding.

My husband and I had a lovely weekend at Cliff Lodge. They were welcoming to use from the start, and worked to meet our needs. We loved the location -- close to the center, but quiet and private.

The room was located on the third floor and had no elevator. I had to lug my luggage up. Two flights are very steep stairs. The room was cold no heat. It wasn’t handicap accessible. The bathroom light was 6 feet from the floor. I’m 5 feet tall I had to reach over my head to turn the bathroom light on the bathroom was smaller than a closet Not what I expected for $1300 for two day stay no an blanket and no front desk to talk to anyone.breakfast was a joke cold cereal and. Stall bagels.

The location worked for my needs,Parking was good if it was their driveway. I was not pleased with the room. The heat was blasting and there were no controls to cool it down. I had to open the window in order to make the room bearable. The TV did not work and there were no directions to operate it and the light in the room was on a 2 ft high table. When I went down for some breakfast, there were no utensils, plates or anything to put the danish on. The staff was average, I only saw them after waiting over 20 minutes to check in and for 30 seconds when I left. I will not use them again.

Our stay was in December 2021. Monica was especially wonderful. She greeted us at the door when we arrived and graciously showed us to our room and the common areas. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and very relaxing. The home was charmingly decorated with a special ambiance for the holidays. Tea & coffee were readily available. The breakfast baskets were a good start to our days.

Room was a little run down and old for the price. Lock on bathroom door was broken. Bedroom door had glass rather than being solid. Bedding not great quality. Pillows not filled with down. Blanket was stained. No reception desk and no locked place to place luggage. On positive side, breakfast was great and location outstanding.

The staff was extremely helpful. They greeted me with a smile, took care of my luggage, and allowed me unlimited use of the hot water in the lounge 24 hours a day so I could have a cup of tea. The water power of the shower and the output of the hair dryer were fine. The rooms have a view of the sea and are very clean and pleasant.

Staff was welcoming. Facilities are well maintained. Building from 1700 very cozy yet typically small accommodations. Breakfast was adequate and well presented cold buffet. We would certainly consider again.

Breakfast was definitely made with love! The widow's walk was an incredible view, and decor throughout the hotel is absolutely adorable. My only complaint is that the drain in my room was backed up, so the shower almost overflowed.

Historic 18th century home converted to B&B. Well located and potentially promoting for our eagerly anticipated weekend stay, but sadly under-delivered. Apart from an earnest housekeeper, whoever is managing the property must be asleep at the wheel. Property and attempted amenities are sorely lacking, especially given the $$$room rates.

Room was very nice. Breakfast had excellent variety of food and it was very good. Only issues were the stairs - narrow steps if you have a room on the upper floors.
