Very conveniently located in central London at a very good price. Clean with a comfortable bed. Minimal sound of traffic from my room. An older property converted with small rooms and shared shower and toilet facilities. A lot of stairs to some of the rooms.

Stayed here for a day in room 9 which is located on the second floor and is front facing. The double glazing is helpful in reducing the noise in the room. The room was unusually warm, the heating was not on and the outside temperature was 23, maybe its well insulated,the fan in the room was very helpful. The room is basic but in line with expectation and has 2 toilets and a shower room on the 2nd floor. The hosts are polite and helpful and was glad i could leave my luggage there after checkout. The breakfast was very good. Location wise it is perfect, 10 minutes walk from Euston. Bearing in mind its a 2 star hotel its a great place to stay.

I was thankful that we were able to leave our bags in the sitting room area, until check-in time at 1pm. This allowed us to go to the British Museum and do a little sightseeing without the burdens of carrying around our luggage for a few hours. The room was nice, the breakfast was really good, the staff was excellent and they had a self serve coffee, tea and hot chocolate dispenser in the sitting room, free of charge. Enjoyed our short visit. 😊

We stayed one night with our family and the hotel was just perfect. Great location near restaurants and theaters. Excellent hot breakfast and they allowed us to store our luggage (13 pieces!). Also they had a luggage scale so we could make sure none of our pieces were overweight. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was super friendly, and very helpful. Can't say enough about them. Traditional English Breakfast was delicious. The room was small (expected), but comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had recently been remodeled, with nice tile decorations. Depending on your floor, there may be *a lot* of stairs to get to your room.

Very clean, well run. Free hot drinks in the lobby. Amazing full English breakfast included. Staff were wonderful. Small, but perfect for a one night stopover. Right next to Euston train station which was my goal, but still convenient.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, particularly the breakfast staff! The rooms are a bit tired (though very clean). It does look like they are undertaking some works, so perhaps this will freshen up the floorboards, etc.

Lovely little Hotel. Very friendly and courteous staff, exceptionally clean. Great breakfast! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the bed was too hard! I would definitely recommend and will use them again.

Great place if you just want a room. Small room and property was quite clean and everything worked. The check-in process was super easy and staff was very friendly. I got exactly what I paid for in a great neighborhood close to the train station, university, British Museum and a ton of shopping and restaurants. The room I got was great for a short stay. Would definitely look at larger room sizes if you were going to be in town more than two days.

Excellent hitel, highly recommended. As someone who regulalrly stays in hotels in the Euston/Kings Cross area, I think this is the best value hotel around. Friendly sraff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast.

The included Full English Breakfast was fantastic. My room was very small but still sufficient, and with everything I needed. I found all the staff very extremely friendly. While it was nothing spectacular and I did find a ladybug on my pillow, it was overall a good stay.

For a moderately priced small room with a private bath the room was satisfactory. The small bed in this single room was adequate for my needs. I did not try the breakfast. WiFi was very good. The location was good for my purposes (e.g. very near the British Museum). I had little interaction with the staff but what there was was pleasant. I would stay here again.

The staff are the friendliest I’ve experienced in London, and the price compared to other hotels in the area is great. The hotel was extremely clean and breakfast was very good. Room (especially shower) was very small, and temperature a little up and down, but overall a lovely stay

Pros: Hotel was situated in an area which felt safe and was surprisingly quiet. Our room was clean and had convenient shelving which we used to keep our luggage organized. The bathroom was well lit and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very easy walking to a Tesco express, Starbucks, Chipotle, Goodge Street station and bus stops. And while the major attractions aren’t super close, they are walkable if necessary (we ended up walking back to the hotel from Westminster one evening after waiting for a bus that never came). It was wonderful to find a room in London which fit our family of five on a budget. Staff was very friendly and were there to open the front door for us to check in after 11PM when we arrived later than expected due to train difficulties. Cons: Really can’t think of any. Overall, we would recommend the Ridgemount Hotel to any family on a budget looking to visit London.

Our room did not have a private bathroom, but some rooms do, so read the room descriptions carefully when booking. There are lots of stairs, including a half flight from the room to the bathrooms. Even though I didn't love having to use a shared bathroom, they were clean and almost always available. We loved the full service breakfast each morning. They served coffee, tea, cereal, toast, and a full English breakfast of bacon, eggs, beans, and tomato.

Travelers beware! Zero rating. My room was directly beneath major construction site (upper half of small hotel). No mention of construction on booking or during in person check in or room. Coming from US, I was especially shocked by early morning power tools and intense banging. Unable to sleep, work or even talk on phone. No apologies from hotel. I am also very disappointed that hotels.com/expedia allows room booking in construction zone.

The hotel was in a great location for the things I wanted to see (British Museum, etc.). It is also close (within walking distance) to both the local and international train stations making a day trip to Cambridge very easy as well as departing England. Great breakfast.

Great small family owned hotel. Million Dollar location. Walkable with almost all sights at your fingertips. Simple, somewhat modest hotel. Nice breakfast provided. Excellent pricing for this very prime location.

Great place if you just want a room. Small room and property was quite clean and everything worked. The check-in process was super easy and staff was very friendly. I got exactly what I paid for in a great neighborhood close to the train station, university, British Museum and a ton of shopping and restaurants. The room I got was great for a short stay. Would definitely look at larger room sizes if you were going to be in town more than two days.

The hotel is in a lovely walkable area near the British Museum. It is only a few minutes from the nearest tube station. We all especially liked the English breakfast that was included with the room.

A nice, well run small hotel in an excellent location in the heart of Georgian Bloomsbury, in a fine historic building. Very nice and attentive staff, hearty English breakfast, lots of stairs to keep one fit.

Our room did not have a private bathroom, but some rooms do, so read the room descriptions carefully when booking. There are lots of stairs, including a half flight from the room to the bathrooms. Even though I didn't love having to use a shared bathroom, they were clean and almost always available. We loved the full service breakfast each morning. They served coffee, tea, cereal, toast, and a full English breakfast of bacon, eggs, beans, and tomato.

Excellent hitel, highly recommended. As someone who regulalrly stays in hotels in the Euston/Kings Cross area, I think this is the best value hotel around. Friendly sraff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast.

The included Full English Breakfast was fantastic. My room was very small but still sufficient, and with everything I needed. I found all the staff very extremely friendly. While it was nothing spectacular and I did find a ladybug on my pillow, it was overall a good stay.

Had a 1 night stay with family, stayed in room B3 slept 5 people, room was lovely it looks like it has recently been refurbished. Breakfast was what you would expect for the low cost of the hotel. Staff were accommodating to request for additional toast for the children.

This is a great, little, family-run, hotel. It's not the Ritz, but it is very comfortable, affordable, and the location is great. I love it because it's near the theatres, Soho, and transportation in and out fro the airport. The staff is very nice and accommodating. There's breakfast everyday and coffee ALL day. I hate to share this with you because I want it to be available when I need a room. LOL. But, I also want them to have a constant full house.
