Very late check-in was easy thanks to great communication and a door-code system!

Compact room with well appointed furniture (rack for luggage, etc) table & chairs, hutch, desk, closet, full sized fridge & freezer, coffee pot with coffee and mugs too, and little bench outside each room. It was the perfect place to stop on my journey! It’s located close to Main Street, walking to dinner was easy and the receptionist made great recommendations in addition to being really kind and welcoming. It’s also dog friendly and I loved having a key code instead of a key.

Great lady at check in, told us where the best restaurants where and what was happening in town that night & the next day. Bed was super comfy, shower amazing ! Water pressure galore and even had a wand ! Yes they have full size fridges. Would definitely stay again if in town.

We were late, they give you a door code easy entry for late at night. Very nice people i will stay there any chance i have. This isnt the Hilton just a plain clean inexpensive room

When I booked this the web site indicated parking for trailers this is not true. There is limited parking and there are six car spots that the staff lets you combine two to park a longer rig. I had to carry all our stuff up the hill to the room there were not carts available. Pros: inexpensive price No carpet on the floors Comfortable bed Fast very hot water Cons: Very small room no desk for computer work Garage style plastic shelving covering light switch Large refrigerator that dominated small room Window AC very noisy neighbors AC also noisy Tiles broken out of wall in bathroom * Cypher lock on door did not automatically lock door * 1950 style chain for security on door I would not recommend this property given the poor security and the rundown shape of the buildings. It seems to be set up for road construction crews, with the big frig and barbecues outside some rooms.

Definitely an old motel but the inside was clean. The shower was big and awesome water pressure. The tv has like 10 local channels, which was odd but not terrible. Full size fridge was nice. WiFi was great. Definitely a good place if you are doing a long-term stay.

Small room but had lots of places to put luggage. All one level and able to park outside of room so easy loading/unloading. Super friendly staff. Outdated but quaint - i liked it but not the usual cookie cutter motel people might expect. Actual coffee cups instead of the paper ones - liked that!

Loved that the rooms had a full sized fridge and storage shelves. The floor wasn’t very clean in our room but you can tell they are trying to make some upgrades. Bed was comfy.

This little independent motel in Rawlins, WY is perfect for an overnight stop or a short visit to Rawlins. Our room was exceptionally clean, despite being quite dated and basic. The staff was very friendly and recommended an excellent downtown restaurant that offered motel guests a 10% dinner discount. The Brickyard Inn is off the interstate, quiet and clean.

So unkind to misrepresent this room as non-smoking. No refund policy forced me to stay. By morning my eyes were blood red and nose, throat and lungs burned even though I slept in my own sleeping bag with a mask on. Kindness at check-in does not excuse misrepresentation of nicotine infused property. Honesty is the better policy. If you can’t stand a smoke filled room, stay out of this one.

It was OK, nothing terrible. Furnishings and surfaces were dated, moldy caulking in the tub. Not cleaned very well. The bed, sheets and towels were all good.

First time staying here. Completely impressed with what's offered for the price. Large fridge, shelving and closet space for clothes, plus, a large desk for work space. Also, if you have a strong religious faith, the rooms have faith-based reading materials and a variety of religious artwork for your enjoyment. Overall, room was clean and comfortable and well worth the stay.

The best thing about the room was the bed, which was extremely comfortable. I did sleep well on it. The towels were thick and plush. However, my room was not cleaned thoroughly. I noticed right away a fly on the nightstand. When I went to away it, I discovered it was literally stuck in something spilled on the nightstand, probably clear soda.I used a baby wipe to clean the nightstand off. No big deal worth raising a huge stink about. I also noticed the floor seemed sticky, like there was a residue on it and just assumed it was from whatever liquid cleaner was used to mop it. However, the next morning when I sat down and raised my foot up to put on my socks, the entire bottom of my foot was black! It looked like I had been walking barefoot outside on the road. That completely grosed me out and I decided to go ahead and leave that morning rather than stay the 2nd night I had already paid for. A couple of other disappointments were the lack of any kind of creamer or sweetener for the coffee. It wouldn't have been that difficult to include some of those pre-packaged cream and sugar packets that are normally found in most motel rooms that provide coffee makers. The room's microwave was on top of the full size refrigerator and difficult for me to reach since I am only 5'2". I had to open both the fridge and freezer doors in order to be able to get close enough to the microwave to use it. I can't recommend this place and won't stay here on my next trip to Rawlins.

Air conditioning didn’t work. Heat wave there at 99 and air conditioning wouldn’t go lower than 81. Shower had mold in it. Trash outside on the sidewalk and parking lot. Didn’t take us long to leave this place after arriving.

Although the property is old, the room was well maintained and very clean. The people that operate it were very gracious and kindhearted. The housekeeping staff was friendly and hardworking. Would stay there again. We enjoyed walking around the town. A lot of businesses are abandoned, but someone is working hard to preserve history and improve things.

Since the property had a good rating, I assumed it would be nicer. It was really dated. Our room was connected to office. We could hear people checking in and the lights from office were on all night.

The rooms are small, but very comfortable and clean. Shower fixture was new. The staff is unusually pleasant. It is clear they enjoy their jobs, serving clients.

Small room and bathroom

Acceptable for price. No major complaints, but I've stayed at many similarly priced places that were both a bit cleaner and comfier, and also less dated. Biggest issue though was the thin walls. I could actually hear my neighbor's snoring throughout the evening. Fortunately, once I'm asleep, stuff like that doesn't really bother me. I'd be OK staying here again in a pinch, but would probably look for something else first if back in the area.

Ok, lets be real. This is an older motel in a small cowboy town. Its not the biggest, baddest, glitziest motel ever, but it did have charm. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, the sheets and towels were clean. The water was hot and i slept pretty good. The window air conditioning unit was loud, but I got used to it. The was no outside noise that Ibcould remember. As I prefaced this earlier, this little old motel/inn has charm. It was good for a late night check-in and early check out. Of passing through again, I would stay here again. Price reflected the older motel/inn vibe. Very reasonable.

Older property and it shows its age. Mattresses showed their age. Shower was a jury rigged stall. A/C was pretty noisy. Staff was very friendly and the motel is within walking distance to a couple of pretty good restaurants.

After booking the room, I realized I wouldn’t be there by suggested check in time. I called and explained I would be late. The response was amazing. Not only did she go ahead and check me in on the phone, she sent me the info to get into the room and wished me safe travels. She then texted me the information so I wouldn’t forget. Best customer service!

Nice to meet the owner the morning we woke. Late night check in was made easy thanks to D with her texts and phone call. Really appreciate the cleanliness and comfy beds.

This is an older motel, as seen in the pictures. However, the new owners have put new windows and doors on most of the property, purchased new mattresses, and the facility is very clean. The towels are amazing! The staff we met was very friendly and conscious of meeting all our needs. We would recommend.

We were there just too pass through for sleep and met our expectations, you park right outside your door and was convenient to eating, only disappointment was when we arrived there was a note on the door that said the time and be back in 10 minutes, when we arrived it had already been the 10 minutes so we waited five more then went and filled our car up with gas and when we got back they still were not back for us to check in, I called the number and they arrived a few minutes later but after an 11.5 hour day on the road that’s not what I want to be doing, waiting around to check in, despite that experience I would stay again.

Got a great rate and the office manager was great and easy to deal with. Informed her we would be getting in very late at night/early morning and all instructions from her were clear and simple. Wonderful place to stay as you’re traveling through as Check in and out was easy. There was a basket with dirty rags left and clearly that was an accident by housekeeping. That may not have bothered me by itself but, after arriving at almost 4am and not getting to sleep until almost 5am, housekeeping came banging on our door as loudly as possible around 8am waking us and our little. If there was a do not disturb sign around, both my husband and I were unable to find it. Regardless, Would definitely stay again.

For a quick stop over on a roadtrip, this was a great budget find. I usually stick to certain hotel chains, but decided to try this out due to good reviews. Beds were comfortable and room was clean, which was all we really needed. We checked in outside front desk hours, and they made the process super easy when I called ahead. Would stay again if I’m ever passing through.

This is an old motel but well maintained with a strong heater and big refrigerator with freezer. The location is on the Main Street but also walkable to the downtown stores. I enjoyed Caribou coffee in the morning for breakfast just 3 blocks away in the nice downtown area.

If you are looking for an inexpensive stay but clean, safe and quiet this place fits the bill. The gal that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful with suggestions where to eat if we are ever in Rawlins would stay here and eat at Bucks again too it was within walking distance

We paid got a queen, weed told we were given a queen and a double. It was in fact 2 foibles. When we chose the place it said there was breakfast. There is no breakfast. The heater in the room does not work. There is no ice machine.

Old but comfortable. Has a real coffeemaker and a real fridge. Block and a half from the best restaurant in town.

The owner was quick to point out places to eat & the tour of Wyoming's old state prison.

A clean and friendly place to stay. Economical given the rest of the Rawlins, WY hotels were SKY HIGH! Check in woman was very friendly and helpful. Recommended excellent restaurants for both dinner and the next day's breakfast. I would stay here again.

What a nice find! Very kind staff, clean rooms, no off-putting smells (strangely common on road trips). Comfortable, quiet, safe, budget-friendly accommodation. The period-building and rooms are dated, but that is part of the attraction to this motel. The property has served many souls, over many years, and the way they care for it, it will continue to do so. Owned and managed by people who give off very good vibes. You get the feeling they are happy and hope you are, too. To my surprise, they even offer books to read, in your room; can even take a book to read later! Slept comfortably, knew we were safe, parked at our door. We received good guidance on things to do in town and where to get breakfast. We were very happy with the value received. We have no criticisms of this operation, as they do a great job in the difficult hospitality industry. We will surely stop here the next time we do the cross country run.
