Liked the location it was quite, 10 min walk to the Marina that had really nice restaurants and bars,15-20 drive to airport and 15 mins by taxi to the nearest town/strip. Did not like that the pools weren't heated so could not use them, during our stay it was slightly windy therefore felt cold siting by the pools. Did not like that you had to pay to use the spa facilities to be honest it was not worth it.

Rien à redire, tout était top. Dommage que les piscines ferment à 18h et qu il y ait une différence entre ceux qui font partie du club "prefered" et qui ont accès à des bars et que ce ne soient pas le cas pour les autres. Bel hôtel, très moderne. Chambres impeccables. Jardins luxuriants et très bien entretenus. Petit déjeuner copieux et qualitatif. Par contre, personnel très "froid", peu à l'écoute. Grosse machine à fric : cocktails très chers et mal réalisés et surtout : accès à la plus jolie piscine, face directe à la mer et protégée du vent PAYANT : 60 euros/pers. et par jour !!! HONTEUX.

The staff cannot do enough for you, they’re very attentive and helpful. Absolutely lovely. Rooms are spotless and spacious, though starting to be a little dated. Pools are really nice and the loungers are padded and comfy. The onsite restaurants are okay, though I’d recommend going outside to eat, especially if you’re vegetarian

A lovely hotel, good location with a great spa! Beds were huge and big TV, quiet resort, buffet food was great with lovely presentation. Staff really friendly. Definitely recommend the spa. Close walking distance to the marina with a market on Tuesdays and Fridays. Gym was open 24hrs and had good selection of equipment. There are many free workshops (sushi making, macrame, cocktails, plants) and yoga/archery classes which were brilliant - we really enjoyed them! Some downsides were that free drinks were sometimes given upon entry to the restaurants for the first three days, then it stopped and not sure why. Unfortunately an item of my clothing was stolen from the women’s changing room so don’t go in with anything other than your swimwear and robe as very few lockers available if any. Our bench at the end of our bed was taken away also after the third day too, which was random. We had a problem with a drilling and hammering noise at 3am and after two nights of this we asked the hotel to investigate and thankfully they offered us to move rooms which was appreciated, but the staff were not sure what was causing the noise. Overall, enjoyed our stay but there are a couple of things that could be improved to make it a full 5 star experience.

J ai apprécié le spa avec des activités variés., une eau chaude , des jets divers , le sauna ... Le buffet du restaurant principal est très diversifié, les cuissons sont adaptées aux clients . Les soirées avec des concerts différents sont de qualité variable . La soirée flamenco nous a enchantés.

Customer service was outstanding throughout our entire holiday! The spa was absolutely amazing — highly recommended. The staff were all lovely and provided top-notch service from start to finish. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bar offered a variety of drinks and the cocktails were amazing. We would definitely recommend SECRETS luxury Hotel and Spa for anyone looking to book their next vacation!

Excellent 5 night stay at Secrets. Beautiful location with great facilities and service. The staff were brilliant. Only regret was not being able to use the spa facilities as there was an extra charge and required advance booking

It was a lovely hotel but there were a few things they could improve on... more No Smoking/Vaping signs around the pool area, staff did not enforce this. The pools were quite chilly even with the warm weather, there were plenty of sunbeds to go around! There is no shop / boutique within the hotel but the Marina is a 10 min walk, if you’re not all inclusive there are quite a few places to go to eat & drink. There are a cats on the complex but they don't go into the hotel building. If you’re after a room with a view then stay away from room 626 as the only thing to see is the tree right outside the balcony! The food was excellent, I am a fussy eater but had no issues here, this is the best buffet I’ve every been to (only one niggle was the poached eggs at breakfast were cooked too quickly and therefore too raw for me). We only stayed for a week so not sure if the selection repeats in the second week or not. There was a wedding on when we were there but we weren’t informed the Sports Bar would be closed off for the evening. There is the Ocean Restaurant underneath the “Preferred” pool bar, it’s a hidden gem and also for All Inclusive guests, we had a wonderful lunch there. The staff could do with better uniforms, some looked very tired, cheap and ill fitting, not what you expect from a Hyatt Hotel.

Un "todo incluido" a precio de cinco estrellas. El hotel en general es espectacular. Aunque debe ser complicado mantener unas instalaciones tan grandes en un estado óptimo y eso se nota en algunos detalles en los que el paso del tiempo ha hecho mella, como algunos pasillos, jardines o ascensores. La habitación muy grande, con una cama alucinante más ancha que larga. Los amenities correctos. Lo peor sin duda es la calidad de la comida. En el desayuno cuesta elegir. Sí, hay de todo pero de una calidad bastante regular. La bollería se lleva la palma, incomible. Mi recomendación, menos y mejor. Una buena selección. Incluso el restaurante grill, cuya carne está bastante bien, tiene ese toque de calidad media (el pan por ejemplo es terrible). Es una pena, parece que está diseñado para echarte de comer, más que para ofrecerte algo rico, sabroso, exclusivo. Los estragos quizá de estar destinado a un turismo de masas extranjero. El SPA está muy bien, aunque pagamos el bono de todos los días y no pudimos disfrutarlo. El último día de nuestra estancia estaba cerrado. Pregunté por un reembolso pero no me lo aceptaron. A cambio nos dejaron "late check-out" sin coste. El personal en general encantador y pudimos disfrutar de alguna sorpresa en la habitación. Resumiendo, esperaba una experiencia más personal, con una gastronomía más cuidada. La experiencia en general es buena pero si quieres algo más exquisito tendrás que buscar otro sitio.

Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Extremely clean hotel and well laid out if a bit tired in some places. Hallways very echoey so sound travels far and the walls in the rooms are thin so neighbours can be heard above, below and to the side. Not true all inclusive as some drinks on menus had an extra charge but a good selection none the less

Не очень красиво разделять гостей на две категории. На завтраке были обнаружены тараканы. Кофе тоже сервировали через день - большой минус персоналу. После дождя на балконе пахло канализацией довольно сильно. Плюсы: Тихо вечером. Места для ужина (если не хочется ужинать в отеле) - в пешеходной доступности. В общем, впечатление от отел неплохое.

Très belle hôtel hormis le fait que nous avions trouver des cafards à deux reprises à la zone pour manger, regrettable pour un hôtel 5 étoiles ou cela n’aurais jamais dû se produire

Overall, it was a decent stay at Secrets Lanzarote. We were upgraded to an Ocean View suite (we had booked a Partial Ocean view suite) and it was well maintained and good in size. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot with good pressure, all the expected amenities were included (robe, slippers, plenty of towels, hairdryer, mirror, wardrobes, safe etc.) and there were also two large televisions. Unfortunately, there was a horrible sewage smell from the toilet which we asked to be looked at multiple times during the stay but ultimately had to just put up with it. And whilst the minibar should have been restocked every day as part of the price of the room, we had to request this each day. The service was both good and bad in parts, depending on the staff member. Some were terribly unhelpful (borderline rude) and others were absolutely wonderful. Konte, in particular, offered the warmest of welcomes and gave us a lovely tour of the resort. The spa staff were absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed spending the day there as well as our massages. The serving and reception staff, however, were less helpful. The food left a bit to be desired, however, and I'm very glad we didn't go half or full board. We tried Oceana, the world buffet and Portofino, and all were disappointing. They weren't terrible, but run of the mill food, not much flavour and prices that were far higher than the quality.

Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Extremely clean hotel and well laid out if a bit tired in some places. Hallways very echoey so sound travels far and the walls in the rooms are thin so neighbours can be heard above, below and to the side. Not true all inclusive as some drinks on menus had an extra charge but a good selection none the less

The Hotel is lovely, we had a swim up suite preferred club which was lovely and fulfilled our requirements of quiet and privacy . We were very happy with every aspect of the hotel and staff and will be returning .

The staff cannot do enough for you, they’re very attentive and helpful. Absolutely lovely. Rooms are spotless and spacious, though starting to be a little dated. Pools are really nice and the loungers are padded and comfy. The onsite restaurants are okay, though I’d recommend going outside to eat, especially if you’re vegetarian

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was good all around but I would definitely say the Blue water grill and Oceana restaurants were by far the best. The rooms were very nice if the walls were abit thin and could hear next door but I believe that’s due to the age of the property and the bathroom could do with an update but still very serviceable. It’s a short walk from the marina where there is a lovely selection of restaurants that are reasonably priced so B&B or all inclusive are very good so take which ever you would prefer

A lovely hotel, good location with a great spa! Beds were huge and big TV, quiet resort, buffet food was great with lovely presentation. Staff really friendly. Definitely recommend the spa. Close walking distance to the marina with a market on Tuesdays and Fridays. Gym was open 24hrs and had good selection of equipment. There are many free workshops (sushi making, macrame, cocktails, plants) and yoga/archery classes which were brilliant - we really enjoyed them! Some downsides were that free drinks were sometimes given upon entry to the restaurants for the first three days, then it stopped and not sure why. Unfortunately an item of my clothing was stolen from the women’s changing room so don’t go in with anything other than your swimwear and robe as very few lockers available if any. Our bench at the end of our bed was taken away also after the third day too, which was random. We had a problem with a drilling and hammering noise at 3am and after two nights of this we asked the hotel to investigate and thankfully they offered us to move rooms which was appreciated, but the staff were not sure what was causing the noise. Overall, enjoyed our stay but there are a couple of things that could be improved to make it a full 5 star experience.

This was the second time we stayed at the resort and its an excellent place to stay and the staff very good. The only negative for us is the rooms are in need of a refit especially the bathrooms its all a bit tired, we thought the same last year when we stayed not up to 5 star rating in our view.

Stayed 7 nights as a solo traveller on all inclusive basis (not preferred club). Check in - Reception busy on arrival with a bit of a wait (15/20mins) but great friendly service from Sonia (I think) and free room upgrade was a lovely surprise, nice glass of fizz and cold towel on arrival. Room - Room (sea view double) is modern and comfortable, needs a touch up in places to make it 5* but it’s very close, great view (7th floor) and facilities such as rainfall shower, giant tv, nice shower products, comfy bed with a lot of pillows, minibar has good selection with branded drinks. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear chairs scraping and few hallway noises sometimes such as doors slamming. Pool - have to get in early to reserve a sun bed (8am) the removal of towels seems to be nonexistent, clean pool and very clean hotel facilities, sun beds I saw were of good quality and very comfy. Drinks from the barefoot grill - service can be a bit slow with waiter orders seeming to take priority over waiting guests in the queue but everyone was very friendly Food: bluewater grill, friendly staff and great steak, very quick service, did feel very romantic setting across all a la carte restaurants so if dining alone (like I was) can feel a bit lonely World cafe - great selection of choice for both breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, the desserts across all restaurants are homemade and taste great, all hotel and restaurant staff are friendly, make sure to explore all areas of the worl

We stayed at Secrets for 5 nights and had the most amazing time. The welcome we received on arrival was attentive, warm & relaxed. Our room was so much better than we’d anticipated - spacious, clean, view to die for. The hotel gifted us a bottle of champagne & some chocolates in our room as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was relaxed, clean & easy to navigate. We also had a massage in the spa whilst there and it was one of the best massages either of us had ever experienced. We found ourselves saying multiple times during our trip ‘I’d happily come back here’. We only had a couple issues during our stay. 1. The service we experienced at the Barefoot Grill was not up to the same standard as service across the rest of the hotel. We were standing waiting for a table for 5 minutes without any recognition from the servers that they were aware of us waiting. Then it took a further 5-10 mins to get menus once we were sat down. 2. There was a couple of days where our room wasn’t restocked with water after housekeeping and dirty glasses were left in our room after housekeeping had been. But, the size of those issues (insignificant in relation to the rest of the holiday) shows how hard it was to find fault with the holiday. Thanks to the Secrets Lanzarote team for making our anniversary trip a special one!

I’ve been here before a couple years ago and loved it. So decided to go again to celebrate our mini moon and we had the worst experience ever. Some of the staff need re-training on customer service as this is the biggest factor for our holiday being ruined!

Liked the location it was quite, 10 min walk to the Marina that had really nice restaurants and bars,15-20 drive to airport and 15 mins by taxi to the nearest town/strip. Did not like that the pools weren't heated so could not use them, during our stay it was slightly windy therefore felt cold siting by the pools. Did not like that you had to pay to use the spa facilities to be honest it was not worth it.

Right next to the sea, our room had a super outlook, south-east facing. Very good food in the restaurants and prices for drinks unexpectedly well-priced. Staff were so friendly and it was a battle to develop our Spanish as their English was so good. Being a 10-minute stroll to the marina was a real bonus offering up a plethora of bars and restaurants. Definitely not a loud or wild area for the youth to enjoy - peaceful and tranquil for all!

We stayed at the Preferred section (which for those who can should stay at)-we literally checked in and unplugged. No thought about what was covered and what wasn’t. There are parts that are starting to show some wear but the staff was accommodating and gracious about everything. We walked to the marina area nearby and down the trail along the coast and it was beautiful. Highly recommend for a quick gaunt from Europe.

Best holiday I’ve ever had .

We loved the hotel and its location and the service was excellent throughout (especially Jose on the desk and Paloma in the World Cafe). What will prevent us from coming again or recommending the place however was that although the breakfast choice was excellent the buffet food for dinner that we'd paid dearly for on half board was not four star at all but three star at best. There was never enough fish or other choices for non-meat eaters and the choices were too repetitive, especially the overcooked vegetables. We loved the hotel and its location and the service was excellent throughout (especially Jose on the desk and Paloma in the World Cafe). What will prevent us from coming again or recommending the place however was that although the breakfast choice was excellent the buffet food for dinner that we'd paid dearly for on half board was not four star at all but three star at best. There was never enough fish or other choices for non-meat eaters and the choices were too repetitive, especially the overcooked vegetables. Overall, it was a decent stay at Secrets Lanzarote. We were upgraded to an Ocean View suite (we had booked a Partial Ocean view suite) and it was well maintained and good in size. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot with good pressure, all the expected amenities were included (robe, slippers, plenty of towels, hairdryer, mirror, wardrobes, safe etc.) and there were also two large televisions. Unfortunately, there was a horrible sewage smell from the toilet which we asked to be looked at multiple times during the stay but ultimately had to just put up with it. And whilst the minibar should have been restocked every day as part of the price of the room, we had to request this each day. The service was both good and bad in parts, depending on the staff member. Some were terribly unhelpful (borderline rude) and others were absolutely wonderful. Konte, in particular, offered the warmest of welcomes and gave us a lovely tour of the resort. The spa staff were absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed spending the day there as well as our massages. The serving and reception staff, however, were less helpful. The food left a bit to be desired, however, and I'm very glad we didn't go half or full board. We tried Oceana, the world buffet and Portofino, and all were disappointing. They weren't terrible, but run of the mill food, not much flavour and prices that were far higher than the quality.

J ai apprécié le spa avec des activités variés., une eau chaude , des jets divers , le sauna ... Le buffet du restaurant principal est très diversifié, les cuissons sont adaptées aux clients . Les soirées avec des concerts différents sont de qualité variable . La soirée flamenco nous a enchantés.

The rooms are excellent spacious and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast excellent choice and service good. However we were on b and b and the two meals we had in the buffet on arrival and the fish restaurant very poor for a good hotel, not value for money.

It was a lovely hotel but there were a few things they could improve on... more No Smoking/Vaping signs around the pool area, staff did not enforce this. The pools were quite chilly even with the warm weather, there were plenty of sunbeds to go around! There is no shop / boutique within the hotel but the Marina is a 10 min walk, if you’re not all inclusive there are quite a few places to go to eat & drink. There are a cats on the complex but they don't go into the hotel building. If you’re after a room with a view then stay away from room 626 as the only thing to see is the tree right outside the balcony! The food was excellent, I am a fussy eater but had no issues here, this is the best buffet I’ve every been to (only one niggle was the poached eggs at breakfast were cooked too quickly and therefore too raw for me). We only stayed for a week so not sure if the selection repeats in the second week or not. There was a wedding on when we were there but we weren’t informed the Sports Bar would be closed off for the evening. There is the Ocean Restaurant underneath the “Preferred” pool bar, it’s a hidden gem and also for All Inclusive guests, we had a wonderful lunch there. The staff could do with better uniforms, some looked very tired, cheap and ill fitting, not what you expect from a Hyatt Hotel.

The all inclusive package is excellent. It’s a true all inclusive, not just a selection of crap that nobody wants. It’s a real saver… I haven’t spent anything extra in two weeks and I’ve been fine dining most evenings.

A Bit Underwhelmed We were disappointed with our stay at Secrets Lanzarote. We chose it for the reputation of the Secrets brand and had high expectations, but the experience did not feel as premium as anticipated. The distinction between standard and Preferred guests was particularly frustrating. The best pool and many premium facilities appeared to be reserved for Preferred guests, while numerous additional experiences and amenities came at an extra cost. This made us feel like secondary guests rather than valued customers. We also struggled to find sunbeds in the morning, found the towel system inconvenient, and rarely used the main pool because it was extremely cold despite being advertised as heated. Pool service was limited, with staff rarely checking whether we wanted drinks, and food was not permitted by the pool, meaning we had to leave whenever we wanted a snack. Housekeeping was the biggest disappointment. Toiletries and room amenities were often not replenished unless requested through the app, and some requests had to be repeated several times. This was not what we expected from a hotel of this standard. Overall, the hotel fell short of the premium experience we expected from the Secrets brand. Service, housekeeping and the treatment of standard guests all need improvement.

The hotel is one of the most relaxing we have been at. Immensely well run by attentive staff, and then adding that the food (especially the desserts) was way above expectations. This is highly recommended if looking for a very calm hotel and experience
