The Tickled Trout

The room was a great size, looked lovely with nice decor, a full size mirror and was very clean. Some nice touches with biscuits and lemon sweets. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is quiet and close by to lots of places to visit. All in all recommended 😊

Lovely stay with very friendly staff. Just for a short while, front of property has scaffolding up while minor exterior decorating is taking place; doesn’t detract from the overall visit though.

This has been on our bucket list for years so we finally got here for our 41st anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Our meals were lovely, well presented and very tasty. Our room was lovely, clean and tidy. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly. I also have to mention the Balfour lager, it has a distinctive taste and is way better than all the usual eurofizz generally available. I'd recommend the Trout as a place to stay to explore the local area.

Very nice room. Sadly food was very disappointing, lacked any flavour and tasted like prepared frozen food.

Nice pub, nice accommodation, good food, friendly staff. Would stay there again.
