Lovely Vintage Hotel, although because of *Covid* it was pretty empty. Stayed 6 nights over Christmas, the room keys kept de-activating, so wouldn't unlock our door. Had to go to reception at least 6 times to get keys re-activated, annoying when you come home late at night & cant get into your room !! Also needed the key to gain access into the reception area, so had to wait outside in the cold until we could get someones attention, but this was dealt with promptly & efficiently each time. The manager was friendly, chatty & approachable. The cleaning of the room was done every day to a good standard. We booked Christmas dinner at the hotel. When we went to be seated, we were offered a small round table for 2, that had been set for 3, & were told we could bring the other small round table over for more space !! I refused, as everyone else was sat on big tables with plenty of space, so we were then seated on a larger table. I felt as if we were an afterthought that had to be squeezed in, although id booked months before !! I ordered the fillet steak, I wasn't asked how id like it cooked, it was a bit overdone, Also, it was supposed to include all the trimmings ( as stated on the menu ) but it didn't. I had to ask for Brussels, & had no Yorkshire, carrots, roast parsnip or a pig in blanket. But, what I did have was tasty. For what we paid, I just felt that we should have got what was promised on the menu. Overall, the stay was comfortable, & staff were friendly.

I’ve stayed here a few times, but sadly it feels increasingly neglected and a little tired. My room was very dusty, and both the toilet and shower tray hadn’t been properly cleaned. The lady on reception was helpful and gave it a quick clean as no other rooms were available, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, noise from guests in the garden area (which my room overlooked) went on past 12:30am, making it hard to get any rest. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but as someone who stays in the area weekly, I’ve found other hotels to be a much better option.

Rooms, though tastefully decorated, are a little tired. Very mouldy silicone in shower tray and clearly tea cups washed in sink rather than taken to be run through dishwasher. Reception area is very grotty and accessed from outside next to kitchen/bin store! Just small things missing like coffee machine, but no pods. Garden maintenence guy blowing leaves at 6am every morning also painful!! But... staff are friendly and location vibrant. Could be so good!!

Staff were amazing! Breakfast was brilliant! Good car park. It was noisy but we knew we were above a pub. The room was grubby and could do with a deep clean.

Stayed on work trip. Lovely comfortable room, well appointed. Pub downstairs has a good range of tasty pub food.

Had a lovely couple of days. Room ok, bit on the small side but adequate for 2 days. Had Sunday lunch which was ok, think we were a bit late so maybe not as fresh as earlier in the day. Breakfast very good. Everyone who works there very friendly and good service.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was small for two people as a double room. The pre guest room check was poor. The toilet seat was not fitted and had missing fixings. I repaired this fault myself. Shower door handle was broken and kept coming off the door, reported to staff. Cupboard door knobs were either missing or kept coming off in my hand., reported. Door key had to be reprogrammed everyday to gain access to the room. TV had intermittent fault which made viewing difficult. Overall not in my opinion good value but staff did try their best to make the stay a pleasant one. Happy to stay in the hotel again but not in that room.

lovely looking pub, check in was not over friendly with very little by way of welcome or instruction. Room at first glance was lovely but lots of small issues with either bits broken or poor cleanliness. Tv has lead dangling from it and does not connect.

Room 6 smelt damp and frankly the shower base had a good inch of mould around the edges. Shame really as it was my third time staying at the hotel

Our bathroom was a little dirty. Black water stains around the top of the toilet bowl and a thick layer of dust on the magnified mirror.

Comfy room, nice shower, spacious room, really friendly staff, brekkie was good. Coffee was a bit bitter in the restaurant and there were flies in the bathroom, I suspect that had come through the window but there were enough to be notable.

We chose this hotel for a mini break away and it was every bit as beautiful as it looked in the pictures. We stayed in room 10 which was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice and peaceful for a great night's sleep. The breakfast we had the following morning was next to the log fire and absolutely gorgeous. I cannot wait to return to the hotel for another break away from home.

This is a very old building which is reflected in its rooms. We were in room 11. First, we had to climb 4 lots of narrow stairs to get to our room. Then, when we were in, ANOTHER set of stairs to go down to a room with a bed (which filled the room) and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom was like a sauna as it was small, had a heated towel rail which we couldn't turn off, no extractor fan and no window. The bedroom had a minibar built into the furniture but the covering door was wedged closed with a folded beermat! The bed, douvet and pillows were all very heavy so not a good sleep. The breakfast experience wasn't much better. First I had to prove that it was included with my booking (good job i took a printout with me). There were no yoghurts, no sugar to go with the cereal, no bowls, butter etc. Poor choice unless you have the full English. We chose this Hotel for its proximity to the railway station. If I came to Weybridge again I would stay somewhere cheaper and get a taxi to the station. They were lots of them at the taxi rank when trains came in.

Wonderful place, I stayed in room 5 which was decorated really beautifully and had everything I needed... comfortable bed, iron/board, huge TV with Sky TV (connection a little tricky at first), impressively stocked mini bar and snack basket, large airy bathroom with a waterfall shower, really nice toiletries. Staff were also excellent and very friendly.

Overall a good hotel in an ideal location for my business trip. Room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

We had a very nice stay! Nicely decorated room and friendly staff. The breakfast was not european standard ( no butter, no cheese and no ham was inkluded .We did not try the Full Enlish breakfast though )

The breakfast was very poor No yogurt only fruit available were grapes! The heating in the room was either cold or hot !!
