Great place to stay

This hotel is in very nice condition. Must have been remodeled.. The only two bummers about this hotel is the breakfast was the most subpar.. They had the main course being smoke sausage and those Mexican omelettes but nothing else..There were three warmer pans that were empty..Most Holiday Inn Express at least have gravy and those herb potatoes. Got down there around 8:30 and there weren’t any biscuits either. Waited at least ten minutes for those before the lady brought out about six more..My room was nice too but they didn’t even have the small complimentary bar of dove soap in the bathroom..I couldn’t believe it.. Now don’t get me wrong the hotel is in Donaldsonville which is in the middle of nowhere and they didn’t have many guests.. I booked the room during Mardi Gras so I can imagine that it is even slower any other time but you don’t have to be that cheap. I think the owner wants to make sure that they don’t lose not one penny which takes away from the whole experience

All of the above along with being quick and easy, and also along with zero issues during my stay and the checkout process as well!

hard to find. needs a sign on side of road
