Overall our stay was fine. The hotel has a nice aesthetic and is in a good location. It seems the beds haven’t been changed since it was a backpackers though. They were well worn with the springs coming through! I used a heavy blanket from the cupboard to provide some softness, which I covered with a sheet as it was covered in hair and food stains! The towel rail broke during our visit and the smell coming up from the drain in the shower when the first person showered for the day was horrendous! We also had some cleanliness issues with the bathroom. On the upside there is free parking if you arrive early enough (limited spaces) and a nice roof top to sit out on. If the mattresses were replaced and cleanliness issues were fixed up, this could be an awesome little spot!

We stayed in the family suite.A very good place to stay in sydney. Convinient access to busses, free and easy parking and the rooms are very clean.The balcony is very safe to the kids. We could see the sunrise and a wide view of the sea over the surrounding buildings. Ther is a woolworths nearby and a grocery shop nextdoor. The surrounding is safe and quite. Kitchen has all the utensils and clean. The property has no lift so we had to climb up 5 levels. However very good to the price.

When we arrived we phoned the hotel to ask where the parking was as there was no street parking. They said to come in to reception to get directions to the parking. I’m not sure where I was expected to leave my car to go to reception to get directions. I suggest emailing directions beforehand. The biggest thing was definitely the noise, the noise from the street and metal clanking all night long was terrible. When walking to the hotel the next morning we saw all these aerials or something on the roof, I assume it’s those make the noise all night. I don’t think the hotel is worth the money we paid. It was clean and comfortable but definitely not worth over $200 a night.

Very good location with distant views to Coogee and Clovelly, but you'd have to be very fit to walk uphill from the beaches. Nice rooftop open area. Secure carpark. Shops nearby. Friendly manager. Clear instructions for contactless check in. Mini kitchen in the room, but you couldn't put anything in the freezer because it is thickly iced and needs defrosting. Spacious mini living/dining area. Good airconditioning. TV in bedroom. Limited toilet/shower amenities. The facility is unattended, so expect no service staff, but the manager is easy to contact by phone if you need anything. The rooms are upstairs and there's no lift (these were all described on the booking site). Overall, happy to recommend.

Super convenient for Clovelly, Coogee and Bronte beaches thelocal hotel offers all the basic geatures including heat in the room which was much appreciated in mid-winter. Veey clean and comfortable room with teamaking facilities and great shower.. Cooking and eating lounge provides everything needed for self-catering. Really lovely and helpful staff.

We spent 4 days and were comfortable the whole time. Walk to the beach and dining. Coffee shops at the front door. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is very clean and well cared for!

Very disappointed! Very old, bad smell inside, location is so so - not a big choice of restaurants and coffee shops. Beds are very small and uncomfortable, it was no hot water in the evening. It was our last night in Australia and the impressions were spoiled( Also parking tooooo small. May be it’s perfect for students but not for a family with kids. Girls on the front desk were very nice and kind !

Little Coogee Hotel was excellent for our stay. Handy to where we needed to be and close to excellent cafes. Initially we found inconsistencies in the room service. However, this was very acceptably addressed after talking with staff.

Great location, close to local shops, bars and beach. Coogee thoroughfare just down the road. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which has had room updates and was good for our stay. Owner/reception staff were great and accommodating on various requests. Beds were a little firm for my liking, but this is a personal opinion. No channel 7 for AFL GF? Great value for money considering more expensive options around this particular area.

The mattress was very very very very very firm so I didn't sleep well, waking every couple of hours with pain in my hips and back. As a result I have had to take painkillers and have an afternoon nap to get through my day, which is not like me at all.

Decent hotel/hostel for a 1 night stay, bedrooms are a good size for Sydney, the leaky shower puts the score down. Extra points for the fab and friendly staff!

Great location, close to local shops, bars and beach. Coogee thoroughfare just down the road. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which has had room updates and was good for our stay. Little Coogee Hotel was excellent for our stay. Handy to where we needed to be and close to excellent cafes. Initially we found inconsistencies in the room service. However, this was very acceptably addressed after talking with staff.

Very good location with distant views to Coogee and Clovelly, but you'd have to be very fit to walk uphill from the beaches. Nice rooftop open area. Secure carpark. Shops nearby. Friendly manager. Clear instructions for contactless check in. Mini kitchen in the room, but you couldn't put anything in the freezer because it is thickly iced and needs defrosting. Spacious mini living/dining area. Good airconditioning. TV in bedroom. Limited toilet/shower amenities. The facility is unattended, so expect no service staff, but the manager is easy to contact by phone if you need anything. Very clean & well maintained hostel & hotel, stayed 2 nights but could have stayed longer if time allowed. Great location, friendly staff, stayed in a private room but accessed communal kitchen which was clean & well appointed. Would recommend!

It was excellent value in a great location, bus from airport stops at the door. Short stroll downhill to beach and spectacular coastal walks. Staff were super helpful and communal kitchen facilities were very good. Other guests were really respectful of each other. More wall hooks and a wall mirror in the living/sleeping area would help to get clothes and small bags off the floor. Study desk/side table and dining chair both needed repairs.

We spent 4 days and were comfortable the whole time. Walk to the beach and dining. Coffee shops at the front door. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is very clean and well cared for!

Cute, clean and cozy hostel! Kind and helpful staff! They served free dinner three days a week during my stay, great way to chat with other visitors! Somewhat noisy from the street, but nothing that woke you up in the morning. Very close to the beautiful beach and costal walks! Will definitely stay here again when I revisit Sydney! Easy to travel by buses!

Nice stay in Coogee! Loved the gym area and the two lockers/ storage provided for luggage. Mainly for backpack or small carry-on. Which worked for me, because I had no oversized baggage. Convenient gym on sit and really close to the Coogee to Bondi walk, which I enjoyed! My favorite part was the smaller setting of the hostel. It made it easier to socialize and I felt like I made friends easily even though I was only there for a few days. Kitchen is well-equipped and even had a bin for free extra food. The bathroom smelled a bit funny, but at least it was inside the room and only shared between 3 girls. I appreciate the curtains on the beds as well a bedside phone/ book placement. They also have fun events such as breakfast club on certain mornings, billiard, and game nights. Really enjoyed connecting with the people here! Overall, a great hostel stay.
